Un Homiliari i una col·lecció homilètica carolingis, copiats a l'entorn de l'any 900 (Vic, Arx. Cap., ms. 60, i Arx. Episc., frag. XXIII/27)
The wide diffusion and the influence that the Carolingian homiletical literature had in the dioceses of the Marca Hispanica has a new proof with tho works until now unknown, that had been probably copied around 900 in the scriptoria of the
city of Narbonnese ecclesiastical province. They are a new Carolingian homiliary (Vic, Arxiu Capitular, ms. 60) and a fragment from a Carolingian homiletical collection (Vic, Arxiu Episcopal, Fragments, XXXIII/27), that we find assumed and reflected in the Catalan codicological tradition
The so-called Luculentius Carolingian homiliary was written in Italy on
the brink from the 9th century but experienced rapidly a great dissemination
in Catalonia. A further proof is the possible existence of a recension of which
we only know fragmentarily a series of homilies on the estival dominical
epistles already documented in the 11th century. Identified, reconstructed
and edited series has reached our days through the office homiliary of Catalan-
Narbonnese tradition, reflected in the homiliaries of two institutions created
in the 10th century: the monastery of Santa Maria de Serrateix and the
collegial church of Santa Maria de Solsona
que l'enllestí l'any 1507.The cathedral of Manresa keeps an altarpiece with Catalan late Gothic

built between 1480 and 1484. So far it was believed to be the work of an
obscure painter named Gabriel Guàrdia, coming from Manresa and hired in
1501. However, new documents show that this altarpiece was in fact ordered
in 1506 to Antoni Marquès, a painter set in Barcelona and related to
Jaume Huguet?s pupils; he completed it in 1507

abreujadament pels antics breviaris gironins.
The worship and office of saint Charlemagne in the diocese of Girona
was established in 1345 by bishop Arnau de Mont-rodon after the celebrations
in the cathedral of Aachen, just in the period of organization and spreading
of this cult in the european churches who held Charlemagne as their founder.
At Girona, together with the singular translation of the feast into 19th january,
a little own corpus of texts referred to Charlemagne was generated; the nine
lessons for the office of Matins, briefly included in the ancient breviaries of
Girona, were made up after some of these pieces. the whole corpus is here
recupered, edited and contextualised; one of the texts is the co-called De
captione Greundae, accompained by a curious Vita Karoli
Fou estampat a
With the upcoming of printed breviaries towards the end of the 15th
century, so did the offices of the sanctoral appurtenant to the specific church
where the breviary was to be used. Not many of these tiny, quite fragile
booklets have been preserved. Among them is a bifolio of the Archive of the
Crown of Aragon that has been the object of this study and publication. It
was printed in Barcelona by Carles Amorós towards 1527 for the use of the
community of Augustinian canons of Sant Feliu at Girona
