Transitions Within the n = 4 Complex of Kr VII Obtained from a Theta-Pinch Light Source
The spectrum of six times ionized krypton (Kr VII) has been observed in the 430-1000 A wavelength range and 23 lines have been identified as transitions between levels of the 4s2, AsAd. Ap2 and AsAp configurations. For 13 of the lines the classification is new. Revised values are proposed for three levels while for the rest the uncertainty in the existing level values has been considerably decreased.
The results are supported by isoelectronic comparisons along the Zn 1 isoelectronic sequence. The configurations are interpreted by fitting the theoretical energy expressions to the observed energy levels using least- squares techniques. The parameter values are compared with results from Hartree-Fock calculations
New spectroscopic results in Xe II, Xe III, and Xe IV
New results obtained in spontaneous xenon spectrum employing a conventional pulsed gaseous laser tube as light source, are presented in this work. A total of 626 spectral lines has been ionically assigned as follows: 50 to Xe II spectrum, 103 to Xe III spectrum, arid 222 to Xe IV spectrum.
30 Lines previously assigned to Xe II were reassigned as belonging to Xe III, 94 lines were assigned with some doubts to Xe II-III spectrum and 84 lines to Xe Ill-IV spectrum. Also there were classified 43 lines of Xe II.Nuevos resultados obtenidos en el espectro del xenon espontaneo logrado mediante la utilizacion de un tuba de laser gaseoso pulsarlo convencional coma fuente de luz son presentados en este trabajo.

Spectral Analysis of Moderately Charged Rare-Gas Atoms
This article presents a review concerning the spectral analysis of several ions of neon, argon, krypton and xenon, with impact on laser studies and astrophysics that were mainly carried out in our collaborative groups between Argentina and Brazil during many years. The spectra were recorded from the vacuum ultraviolet to infrared regions using pulsed discharges. Semi-empirical approaches with relativistic Hartree–Fock and Dirac-Fock calculations were also included in these investigations. The spectral analysis produced new classified lines and energy levels. Lifetimes and oscillator strengths were also calculated
Classified lines in the spectrum of Xe II
The spectrum of xenón emitted by a non-conventional light source has been studied. About 123 lines are classified in the range 2100 - 6750 AHa sido estudiado el espectro del xenón emitido por una fuente luminosa no convencional. Son clasificadas alrededor de 123 líneas en el rango de 2100 - 6750
Revised and extended analysis in four times ionized xenon Xe V
The atomic-emission spectrum of four times ionized xenon (Xe V) has been observed in the region 500–6700 Å; 233 lines were classified as transition between , , with , and configurations. Ninty-seven of these lines are reported for the first time. Two new energy level values corresponding to the configuration have been determined, and we proposed two new values for the previously reported and energy levels of this configuration. The value of the energy level has also been determined, and we propose a new value for the previously reported energy level. New adjusted values for the previously known levels of the studied configurations are included. Least-squares fitted parametric calculations involving configuration interactions have been carried out to interpret the observed spectrum
Revised and Extended Analysis of Five Times Ionized Argon (Ar VI)
The spectrum of five times ionized argon, (Ar VI), has been observed in the 280-2100 Å wavelength range. Eighty-seven lines have been identified as transitions between levels of the , , , , , , and configurations. For 33 of the lines the classification is new. Forty-one energy level values belonging to these configurations were analyzed and we propose 9 new energy level values for levels corresponding to odd parity configurations. The configurations are interpreted by fitting the theoretical energy expressions to the observed energy levels using least- squares techniques. The parameter values are compared with results from Hartree-Fock calculations
