An association of malignant eccrine poroma and venous insufficiency of lower extremity
ekrin poroma kitlesi mevcuttu.
Eccrine poroma is a malignant tumour of eccrine sweat glands. It is a very rare, slow growing tumour and
clinically resembles other skin cancers. We report a malignant eccrine poroma located on varicose surface of the
posterior left leg of a 72 year-old woman. It was diagnosed by histopathological findings. Lymph nodes or distant
metastases were not found. Malignant eccrine poroma with venous insufficiency has not been reported in the
literature.Although we do not know how venous insufficiency effected the the development of eccrine poroma in
our case we discuss this very rare association of eccrine poroma and venous insufficiency

A Case of Acrodermatitis Chronica Atrophicans Causedby Borrelia burgdorferi Infection
Lyme disease is a multisystemic zoonosis caused by Borrelia burgdorferi. B. burgdorferi is a motile spirochete with loose spirals from Spirochaetaceae family and Lyme disease is acquired by humans through the bite of hard ticks of Ixodes species. Erythema migrans, acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans and morphea-like lesions present as skin lesions. Acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans that is the late lesion of Lyme disease and that is often seen in women over the age of forty presents as hyperemia and swelling and can lead to atrophy and sclerosis within months or years. In this study we report a case of acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans caused by B. burgdorferi infection
Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis associated with terbinafine: a case report
WOS: 000323527300010PubMed: 23432048A 27-year-old male patient who has used oral terbinafine for two weeks was admitted to our outpatient clinic for non-follicular millimetric pustules on erythematous and edematous different-sized plaques on his trunk and flexural areas. He was diagnosed with acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) because of terbinafine use in the light of history, clinical and histopathological findings. An AGEP is a rare and severe pustular reaction usually triggered by systemic drug intake. Approximately, 2.3% of the patients having oral terbinafine have been reported to develop cutaneous adverse effects. Although terbinafine is a commonly used medicine, it must be considered that it may cause severe adverse reactions
Diyabetli bir hastada primer kutanöz aktinomikoz
Actinomycosis is a chronic suppurative granulomatous infection caused by gram positive bacterium. Enfection especially affects the head, neck, thorax and abdomen. Primary cutaneous involvement is uncommon and has an association with trauma and local ischemia. We present one such case of primary cutaneous actinomycosis on the elbow of a 68 year old man with diabetes and external trauma. This patient was admitted to our clinic with a 10-12cm size blue-purple plaque. Skin biopsy revealed the characteristic 'sulphur granules' of actinomycosis in the deep dermis After the diagnosis, initially he was treated with penisilin and cotrimaxazol with a little effect. Treatment was continued with amoksisilin and cotrimaxazol and he respond to this medical treatment partially. After this medical therapy skin graft operation was performed. Lesions relapsed six months later. Medical therapy was repeated and still continues
