Development of mathematical model and optimization of GMA welding parameters of IS 2062 grade A steel weldments
In this experimental works, the effect of GMA welding process parameters, such as arc voltage, wire feed speed, and gas flow rate on the mechanical quality of IS 2062 structural steel of grade A has been studied. Process parameters play an important role in determining the weld quality. In this research work response surface methodology (RSM) technique via design expert (DOE) 12 version software was applied to determining the weld quality and also to develop a mathematical model that can predict the main effect of the above said parameters on weld quality i.e. toughness and hardness. A set of experiments has been conducted to collect the data using a central composite design and ANOVA was used to predict the impact of welding parameters on toughness and hardness and Comparison also made between the actual result and predicted value and from the result that is clear that toughness and hardness of weldment is significantly affected by arc voltage, wire feed speed, and follow by gas flow rate
Renal arteriovenous malformation: An unusual cause of recurrent haematuria
A 54-year-old woman presented with gross painless haematuria. Initial workup showed no abnormality except mild hydronephrosis on CT scan. Cystoscopy and retrograde pyelography did not find any gross lesion and her urine cytology was also negative. She had recurrent haematuria so her CT was reviewed with the radiologist with clinical suspicion of arteriovenous malformation (AVM) which was suggested by relatively increased contrast density in the hemiazygous vein and renal vein in the arterial phase. She underwent angioembiolisation of left renal AVM after which her haematuria settled
The Weekend Effect : Weekday versus Weekend comparison of patients admitted with NSTEMI in terms of length of hospital stay, door to balloon time and left ventricular function
The primary objective of our study was to determine the difference in the outcome, if any, between patients presenting with NSTEMI on weekends versus weekdays. We also looked for the difference in clinical outcomes between these two groups of patients.

Surgical management of pheochromocytoma in a 13-week pregnant woman
A 34-year-old 13-week pregnant woman presented with hypertension refractory to medical therapy and on workup was found to have a right adrenal mass. Due to her persistent increased blood pressure she was advised urinary vanillylmandelic acid (VMA) and its level was raised. MRI of the abdomen showed a well-circumcised lesion in the right adrenal of 3.0×2.5 cm suggestive of pheochromocytoma. The patient was started on antihypertensives including α-blockers and β-blockers and planned for right open adrenalectomy. Intraoperatively, blood pressure was raised up to 180/110 mm Hg on slight manipulation of adrenal gland which was controlled with glyceryl-trinitrate and volatile agents. Postoperatively urinary VMA decreased to normal range and all antihypertensives were gradually stopped. She had uneventful pregnancy and delivered vaginally. This case report highlights the importance of surgical management of pheochromocytoma in second trimester of pregnancy to avoid catastrophic complications later in pregnancy
The Impact of Cognitive Biases on The Investment Decision of Individual Investors: The Role of Risk Propensity
This study investigates the impact of cognitive biases on individual investors' investment decisions using the mediation role of risk propensity. Data was collected from 320 investors with a minimum of one year of experience and over a 90-day time frame. A self-administered questionnaire was used, and statistical analysis was performed using smart PLS and SPSS. The results showed that cognitive biases have a positive impact on individual investment decisions, with an indirect effect supporting the meditation model between cognitive biases and investment decisions. The indirect effect of risk propensity also positively influences cognitive biases and investment decisions. This study contributes to the mediating role of risk propensity and validates it from an individual perspective, allowing for better understanding of the relationship between cognitive biases and investment decisions. The outcomes and implications of this research are relevant for behavioral finance-related research and can help individual investors, financial institutions, and governments better understand the role of investors' behavior in the stock market
An unusual combination of extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma and arteriovenous malformation of the ureter in a young adult
We present a case of a 24-year-old gentleman who presented with painless pan haematuria for 2 weeks. During the workup, he was diagnosed to have a retrocaval mass after a CT scan while cystoscopy revealed a polypoidal pulsating lesion in the left ureter. After surgical manipulation of the retrocaval mass, the blood pressure of the patient raised to 260/130 mm Hg. It was completely resected and diagnosed as extra-adrenalpheochromocytoma (paraganglioma) after histopathology. The lesion in the ureter was completely excised and fulgurated and diagnosed as anarteriovenous malformation. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first patient to be presented in the literature with this unusual combination
