    Uzaktan Eğitim Sürecinde Ailelerin Öğretici Ebeveynlik Becerilerinin İncelenmesi

    The purpose of this study is to examine the instructive parenting skills of families for the e-learning process. The Instructive Parenting Skills Scale was used as a quantitative data collection tool in the study, which was carried out using the mixed research method. And a semi-structured interview form applied to parents and teachers was used as a qualitative data collection tool in the study. For the data analysis of the study, parametric tests were used for quantitative data analysis and content analysis was used for qualitative data analysis. According to the research findings, as a result of the quantitative data analysis, it was determined that the perceptions of the parents towards the instructive parenting skills were at the "mostly" level. In the study, according to the t-Test and ANOVA results, it was determined that there was a significant difference in favor of female parents, working parents, younger parents, and parents whose children are at primary school level for the subscale of supporting learning at home under instructive parenting skills scale. As a result of the tests performed based on the variables of graduation and income status, it was found that there was no significant difference. As a result of the qualitative analyzes, it was determined that the parents involved in the learning at home process as much as possible, but the teachers did not consider the level and quality of this involvement sufficient. In the study, it was concluded that the families considered their instructive parenting skills at a sufficient level, and they involved as instructive parents in the e-learning process, while the teachers were not satisfied with the involvement of parents in learning at home.Bu araştırmanın amacı uzaktan eğitim sürecinde ailelerin öğretici ebeveynlik becerilerini incelemektir. Karma araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen araştırmada nicel veri toplama aracı olarak Öğretici Ebeveynlik Becerileri Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel veri toplama aracı olarak veli ve öğretmenlere uygulanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel veri analizinde parametrik testler, nitel veri analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre nicel veri analizleri sonucunda ebeveynlerin öğretici ebeveynlik becerilerine yönelik algılarının çoğunlukla düzeyinde olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada t-Testi ve ANOVA sonuçlarına göre öğretici ebeveynlik becerileri ölçeğinin evde öğrenmeyi destekleme boyutunda kadın ebeveynlerin, çalışan ebeveynlerin, daha genç ebeveynlerin ve çocuğu ilkokulda öğrenim gören ebeveynlerin lehine anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Mezuniyet ve gelir durumu değişkenlerine göre yapılan testler sonucunda anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Nitel analizler sonucunda ebeveynlerin evde öğrenme sürecine mümkün olduğu kadar katılım sağladıkları ancak öğretmenlerin bu katılımın düzeyini ve niteliğini yeterli görmedikleri tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada ailelerin öğretici ebeveynlik becerilerini yeterli düzeyde gördükleri ve uzaktan eğitim sürecinde öğretici ebeveyn olarak katılım gösterdikleri, öğretmenlerin ise ebeveynlerin evde öğrenme katılımından memnun olmadıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır

    Unethical Behaviors of Teachers in Their Relationships with the School Stakeholders

    The aim of the study is to reveal the unethical behaviors of teachers in their relationships with other stakeholders in terms of their perceptions. The research was designed in phenomenology pattern and maximum diversity method was used as one of the non-probable purposeful sampling methods for the population of the study. A total of 30 participants including 3 District Director of National Education, 14 school administrators, 6 teachers, 4 parents and 3 students in the center of Erzurum province consisted the study group. A semi-structured interview form developed according to expert opinions was used in the face-to-face interviews conducted by the researchers. The obtained data were transferred to a computer and analyzed in NVIVO 12 program. Content analysis being one of the qualitative data analysis methods was used for the analysis of the data. Primarily, the codes were determined, and the themes and sub-themes were found by categorizing the codes. In accordance with the obtained data, it was concluded that the unethical behaviors of teachers are related to justice and equality, respect for themselves and others, personal and professional integrity and compliance with institutional culture. The results were compared with the results of similar studies and discussed

    School Administrators Skills in Organizing the Parent Participation Studies

    The objective of this study is to ascertain administrator, teacher and parent opinions on the level of school administrators’ skills of organising parent participation efforts. The study group of the study conducted according to the descriptive survey model using the quantitative method consists of 273 school administrators, 916 teachers and 395 parents from primary schools, secondary schools and high schools, determined according to the stratified sampling method. The quantitative data of the research were obtained through the ‘scale for school administrators’ skills of organising parent participation efforts' applied to school administrators, teachers and parents after the validity - reliability studies were conducted. The study reached the conclusion that school administrators’ skills in organising parent participation efforts and the parent participation efforts conducted were inadequate
