Hubungan Pemahaman Konsep Dengan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Melalui Model Pembelajaran Treffinger Pada Mata Kuliah Fisika Dasar

Salah satu model alternatif untuk memfasilitasi mahasiswa mencapai pemahaman dan keterampilan berpikir kritis yakni menerapkan model pembelajaran Treffinger. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman konsep dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran Treffinger. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Pendidikan IPA FITK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, mulai bulan September-November 2012.Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one shot case study. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Treffinger materi pokok fluida statis dilihat berdasarkan aktivitas dosen selama proses pembelajaran. Aktivitas dosen dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada setiap pertemuannya kategori sangat baik. Aktivitas mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Pemahaman konsep mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran Treffinger pada sub materi pokok fluida statis dilihat dari nilai rata-rata tes hasil belajar yaitu sebesar 6,35 berada pada kategori cukup. Keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran Treffinger pada sub materi pokok fluida statis dilihat dari nilai rata-rata tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yaitu sebesar 6,57 berada pada kategori cukup. Terdapat hubungan pemahaman konsep dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran Treffinger pada sub materi pokok fluida statis berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi menunjukan hubungan signifikan dengan kategori korelasi sedang

Disrupting Spatiality and Temporality: Authority and Statecraft in Hikayat Mareskalek

While this essay shares Stoler's analytical approach of literature, it does not focus on the politics of a?ect. Rather, this essay examines an early nineteenth century literary production, the Hikayat Mareskalek, in an attempt to question various assumptions in contemporary works on the Malay-Indonesian archipelago. The first is the perceived geography of culture that is divided over what is considered 'Malay' and what 'Javanese.' The second is a temporal construct where a break with the past in the form of modernity occurred as a result of the shock of the colonial encounter. This attempt is framed in the study of authority and statecraft envisioned in the Hikayat. The first part of the essay tries to locate the spatial context of the Hikayat while the second reconstructs ideas of authority and statecraft enshrined in the text.DOI: 10.15408/sdi.v16i3.47

The Upsurge of Memory in the Case of Haul: a Problem of Islamic Historiography in Indonesia

This essay investigates the reasons behind the proliferation of haul celebrations in Indonesia. The study focuses on the construction of haul as a ritual forging collective memory among a particular group of people in the Muslim community. The writer adopts Pierre Nora's theory of the upsurge of memory which is caused by the acceleration and democratization of history. These two factors bring about the construction of an object which forms the passage of memory among those attending haul. It will be argued that the haul is a social construction by a noble community to demonstrate its existence and domination over others in the Muslim community. It will also be argued that the haul was a reaction towards modernity in the Muslim world and the rise of alternative historiography. The influential position of the aristocracy was based on the construction of collective memory of the people in haul celebrations, which are held all over Indonesia

Dynamics of DNA Bubble in Viscous Medium

The damping effect to the DNA bubble is investigated within the Peyrard-Bishop model. In the continuum limit, the dynamics of the bubble of DNA is described by the damped nonlinear Schrodinger equation and studied by means of variational method. It is shown that the propagation of solitary wave pattern is not vanishing in a non-viscous system. Pengaruh Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Mind Map Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA Pada Konsep Fluida Statis

This study was aimed to determine the effect of the use of mind map-based student worksheet on students' performance in the concept of Fluid Statics. This research was conducted at MAN Parungpanjang, Bogor District. Students of grade XI science program (XI IPA) in two classess were purposely chosen to participate in this study; students of grade XI IPA 3 for an experimental class and students of grade XI IPA 1 for a control class. The study used quasi experiment with nonequivalent design where pretest and posttest were assigned to the students. The test consisted of 20 items of multiple choice. Beside, non-test instruments, i.e., observation and questionnaire, were also used for further data analysis. Results showed in general that the use of the worksheet influenced students' learning outcomes in the Statics Fluid concept. T-test analysis on the posttest data showed a significant result at 5% significance level

Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Investasi Asing terhadap Industri Hiburan Malam di Kota Batam (2008-2012)

This research is about how the impact of globalization in a Semi Phery-Phery State. The problems taken by the writer is trying to find the links and impacts happening of foreign investment with night club industries in Batam City.This research uses Paul R. Viotti and Mark V. Kauppis Theory, which the distribution of power and profits, The Semi Phery-Phery States get profits less than The Core States. As a result of the dependency relationship then emerging national policy influenced the political power of the capitalist. In addition, this study also uses Marjorie Fergusons Theory, which essentially has turned globalization into in asset that caused change or loss local identity. The most sources of data collection on this research is qualitative research methods with using the library research technique, observation and interview.This research shows the impact of capitalism , specifically relationship between foreign investment that supports the globalization of western culture in the city of Batam .
