    Get PDF
Introduction. One of the systems that can be used in the system of palliative care for children is the Developmental Individual Relationship (DIR)/Floortime concept, which can be flexibly adapted to individual features of a child, and at the same time it has intelligible and clearly-defined tools for work and interaction, that take into consideration not only individual peculiarities of a patient, but also their parents and specialists. Purpose. The purpose of the paper was to review the possibilities and prospects of using DIR/Floortime model in the system of palliative care for children. Methodology. The paper was prepared on the basis of input from Belarusian Children's Hospice and also took into account experience of implementation of the DIR/Floortime Model (report information of ICDL’ specialists). Results and Discussion. In the course of the work the main tasks for providing palliative care to sick children were outlined and 6 points of introduction of the DIR /Floortime concept into this system were singled out. Conclusions. The main postulates of the DIR concept fully coincide with the modern principles of palliative support. Using DIR/Floortime Model also can solve urgent tasks of the system of palliative care for children: build a team-based, positive, supportive and safe relationship around a child and family; help to prevent conflicts; improve the emotional background of the child in car

Study of effect of plant additives on baking properties of flour and quality indicators of bakery products

We studied functional properties of whole fenugreek seeds Trigonella foenum graecum L., black cumin seeds Nigella sativa, stevioside (steviosides) and their effect on organoleptic, physical, and chemical properties of bakery products made from wheat flour. Due to the wide range of useful components, fenugreek, black cumin, and stevioside possess hypoglycemic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anabolic, anticoagulant, and antioxidant properties. The aim of the work was to develop functional bakery products and to study quality indicators of white bread made from wheat flour with partial replacement of wheat flour with fenugreek seeds, black cumin seed flour, and replacement of sugar with stevioside. The following samples were under study: the control sample, samples with 2 and 2.5% fenugreek seeds, 1 and 1.5% black cumin seed flour in relation to the weight of wheat flour, as well as with the complete replacement of granulated sugar with stevioside

Comparison of Liquefaction Potential of Loess in China, USA, and Russia

    Get PDF
Loess is extensively distributed in many parts of the world, including China, the United State and Russia. Based on experimental study of loess obtained from the three countries, the liquefaction potential of loess are investigated. It is found though loess in the three country all have liquefaction potential, their peak ground acceleration of triggering liquefaction and their behavior during liquefaction vary significantly. Further study of microstructure of loess reveals that the microstructure of the loess in the three countries differs each other in many ways. This factor, combined with the different of gradation, physical index and formation materials, accounts for the different liquefaction behavior of loess in the three countries. Under no circumstance, however, should the liquefaction problem of loess be ignored for its dangerous effects caused by great amount of residual strain during liquefaction

Suspension Kinematics Study of the "Formula SAE" Sports Car

AbstractIn this article the design of the suspension of a sports car with the class “FORMULA SAE” is considered. A suspension double wishbone is taken as the basis. The main requirements to the characteristics of the suspension of the car of this class are formulated. Calculated suspension scheme is adduced. The mathematical model for determining the position of the suspension depending on the angle of the upper arm has been drawn up. The analysis and the choice of the geometric parameters of the suspension of a sports car with the class «FORMULA SAE» were carried out

Kazakhstan Natural Clays Based Catalysts for Isomerization of n-Hexane

Isomerization of n-hexane was carried out in the presence of hydrogen over Pt- and Pt-Re- supported on the matrix of complex composition (natural klinoptilolite clay, alumina-silica gel) and alumina. Pt- catalysts on the compost containing clinoptilolite clay, alumina-silica-gel, decationed and exchanged zeolite (HCeY) showed the isomers selectivity at a wide range of temperature interval (350-450 oC ). It was shown that the high activity and selectivity of studied catalysts correlated with the concentration of strong and medium acid sites on the surface of catalysts

The article covers the psychological aspects in work of the small innovative enterprise connected with ensuring students’ self-realization. Reveals essence and value of students’ self-realization in work of this enterprise, and also the main conditions of self-realization, such as: a personal involvement into innovative activity, realization of abilities and internal potential, social integration in higher school system. In article authors describe the personal-focused mechanism of the small innovative enterprise functioning at university which includes two components: subjective and imperative. The first component covers attributive signs of students’ self-realization over it the corresponding principles of application of innovative technologies are built on, these principles form the second imperative component. Such approach to a solution of the problem of small business in higher school gives the chance of more adequate integration of innovative, commercial and personal factors at the modern higher education

Catalytic activity of Ni-Zn-surface-skeletal catalysts modi ed by Rh, Au, Ti, Mo and W in the reaction of methane partial oxidation has been studied. In uence of catalysts of conditions preparation on its catalytic activity was researched. It was shown that introduction of additives in Ni-Zn catalysts promote to increasing of activity in the process of methane partial oxidation to synthesis-gas and thermostability of skeletal Nicatalysts thanks to the change of its faseous composition and the predominance of reduced form of Ni in catalysts structure
