HUBUNGAN ANTARA KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL DENGAN KINERJA GURU DI TAMAN KANAK-KANAK SE-KECAMATAN SEMPOR KABUPATEN KEBUMEN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi kompetensi profesional guru TK se- Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen, kondisi kinerja guru TK se-Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen, dan hubungan antara kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja guru di TK se-Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru TK se-Kecamatan Sempor. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode kuesioner. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kompetensi profesional dan kinerja guru TK se-Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen adalah baik, yaitu dengan rerata nilai kompetensi profesional sebesar 148,69 dan rerata nilai kinerja guru sebesar 215,41. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja guru di TK se-Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen, yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil perhitungan spearman rank correlation pada program SPSS, yaitu rhitung sebesar 0,246 > rtabel 0,235 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,021 (p < 0,05). Students’ Mastery of Adjective Clause: A Case Study towards the Second Semester Students of English Department

This is a case study that aims at analyzing the students’ ability in answering grammar questions about adjective clauses. The method used to analyze the data is qualitative descriptive method. The result of the study showed how well students’ ability of the second semester student of English Literature department at Universitas Pamulang in dealing with grammar questions about adjective clauses. There were 26 random students from two different classes in the same semester who were included in this study. The study shows that the average of students score resulted them to be classifed to have Fair (got 60 to 69 score) category of adjective clause mastery by reaching 46% of the total percentage
