Sustainable Oral Hygiene Products: Types, Environmental Benefits and Usage Barriers - A Scoping Review

Objective: The objective of this scoping review is to explore the different types of sustainable oral hygiene products available on the market, and to explore their environmental benefits and barriers to the access and use of these products. Introduction: Due to the growing environmental concerns regarding plastic, there is an increasing awareness for the need of sustainable products. As many dental/ oral hygiene products are made from non-sustainable materials and plastics, it is important to explore the sustainability of oral hygiene products.
