Left-Right Asymmetry of Weak Interaction Mass of Polarized Fermions in Flight
The left-right polarization-dependent asymmetry of the weak interaction mass
is investigated. Based on the Standard Model, the calculation shows that the
weak interaction mass of left-handed polarized fermions is always greater than
that of right-handed polarized fermions in flight with the same velocity in any
inertial frame. The asymmetry of the weak interaction mass might be very
important to the investigation of neutrino mass and would have an important

Leptogenesis via multiscalar coherent evolution with supersymmetric neutrino see-saw
A novel scenario of leptogenesis is investigated in the supersymmetric

Thermodynamics of interacting entropy-corrected holographic dark energy in a non-flat FRW universe
A so-called "entropy-corrected holographic dark energy" (ECHDE), was recently
proposed to explain the dark energy-dominated universe with the help of quantum
corrections to the entropy-area relation in the setup of loop quantum
cosmology. Using this new definition, we investigate its thermodynamical
features including entropy and energy conservation. We describe the
thermodynamical interpretation of the interaction between ECHDE and dark matter
in a non-flat universe. We obtain a relation between the interaction term of
the dark components and thermal fluctuation. Our study further generalizes the
earlier works [M.R. Setare and E.C. Vagenas, Phys. Lett. B 666 (2008) 111; B.

Unknowns after the SNO Charged-Current Measurement
We perform a model-independent analysis of solar neutrino flux rates
including the recent charged-current measurement at the Sudbury Neutrino
Observatory (SNO). We derive a universal sum rule involving SNO and
SuperKamiokande rates, and show that the SNO neutral-current measurement can
not fix the fraction of solar oscillating to sterile neutrinos. The
large uncertainty in the SSM B flux impedes a determination of the sterile

Search for Radiative Decays of Cosmic Background Neutrino using Cosmic Infrared Background Energy Spectrum
We propose to search for the neutrino radiative decay by fitting a photon
energy spectrum of the cosmic infrared background to a sum of the photon energy
spectrum from the neutrino radiative decay and a continuum. By comparing the
present cosmic infrared background energy spectrum observed by AKARI and
Spitzer to the photon energy spectrum expected from neutrino radiative decay
with a maximum likelihood method, we obatined a lifetime lower limit of to years at 95% confidence level for the
third generation neutrino in the mass range between 50 \mmev
and 150 \mmev under the present constraints by the neutrino oscillation
measurements. In the left-right symmetric model, the minimum lifetime of
is predicted to be years for of 50 \mmev. We
studied the feasibility of the observation of the neutrino radiative decay with
a lifetime of years, by measuring a continuous energy
spectrum of the cosmic infrared background
M-flation and its spectators
M-flation is an implementation of assisted inflation, in which the inflaton
fields are three N_c x N_c non-abelian hermitean matrices. The model can be
consistently truncated to an effectively single field inflation model, with all
``spectator'' fields fixed at the origin. We show that starting with random
initial conditions for all fields the truncated sector is not a late-time
attractor, but instead the system evolves towards quadratic assisted inflation
with all fields mass degenerate. Demanding the energy density during inflation
to be below the effective quantum gravity scale, we find that the number of

Molybdenum isotopes in plume-influenced MORBs reveal recycling of ancient anoxic sediments
Under modern oxidising Earth surface conditions, dehydrated subducted slabs show Mo isotope compositions as low as ÎŽ98/95Moâ=ââ1.5 â°, compared to the depleted mantle ÎŽ98/95Moâ=ââ0.2 â°. Such light Mo isotope compositions reflect the redox-dependent aqueous mobility of isotopically heavy Mo associated with slab dehydration. Here we analysed basaltic glasses from the South-Mid Atlantic Ridge, whose parental melts are influenced by the enriched Discovery and Shona mantle plumes. We report increasingly higher ÎŽ98/95Mo of up to â0.1 â° from the most depleted samples towards those tapping more enriched mantle sources. ÎŽ98/95Mo values correlate with radiogenic Sr and Nd isotopes, which indicates the recycling of Proterozoic sediments with a Mo isotopic composition that was not affected by subduction-related, oxic dehydration. We propose that the Mo isotope signatures were retained during subduction and reflect anoxic conditions during deep sea sedimentation in the mid-Proterozoic. Finally, Mo isotope fractionation between different terrestrial reservoirs likely depends on the slab redox budget, and therefore on the timing of subduction with regard to Earthâs surface oxygenation
Parameter Degeneracies in Neutrino Oscillation Measurement of Leptonic CP and T Violation
The measurement of the mixing angle \theta_{13}, sign of \Delta m^2_{13} and
the CP or T violating phase \delta is fraught with ambiguities in neutrino
oscillation. In this paper we give an analytic treatment of the paramater
degeneracies associated with measuring the \nu_\mu -> \nu_e probability and its
CP and/or T conjugates. For CP violation, we give explicit solutions to allow
us to obtain the regions where there exist two-fold and four-fold degeneracies.
We calculate the fractional differences, \Delta \theta / \bar{\theta}, between
the allowed solutions which may be used to compare with the expected
sensitivities of the experiments. For T violation we show that there is always
a complete degeneracy between solutions with positive and negative \Delta
m^2_{13} which arises due to a symmetry and cannot be removed by observing one
neutrino oscillation probability and its T conjugate. Thus, there is always a
four fold parameter degeneracy apart from exceptional points. Explicit
solutions are also given and the fractional differences are computed. The
bi-probability CP/T trajectory diagrams are extensively used to illuminate the
