    PT XYZ adalah salah satu Perusahaan penyedia layanan cargo/ekspedisi yang baru berdiri. Seiring dengan perkembangan bisnis USAha dan kebutuhan masyarakat, PT XYZ selalu berupaya untuk mengembangkan jaringan yang diawali dengan Medan, Palembang (Sumatera Selatan), Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Denpasar (Jawa-Bali) dan terus meluas hingga ke pelosok Indonesia. Berkat dukungan sejumlah armada, personil dan minat besar masyarakat, PT XYZ akan menjadi lebih kuat dan berhasil menjaga stabilitasnya.Dalam mengelolah data barang-barang yang dikirim, Perusahaan ekspedisi ini membutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi yang mampu mengolah data pengiriman dan penerimaan barang secara on-line serta terdistribusi yang mampu di akses oleh kantor-kantor pengiriman barangnya. Penerapan basis data terdistribusi dengan metode penyimpanan fragmentasi horisontal dan replikasi akan mampu meningkatkan ketersediaan data dan kinerja sistem pada Sistem Informasi E-Cargo. Ketersediaan data ditingkatkan dengan membuat backup online yang senantiasa up-to-date sedangkan kinerja sistem dapat ditingkatkan dengan membagi beban kerja di antara server master dan server-server slave sehingga beban tidak lagi terpusat pada satu mesin

    Data Mining is a process that uses statistical techniques, mathematics, artificial intelligence, machine learning to extract and identify useful information and related knowledge from large databases. Data mining is the process of finding new patterns in data by filtering large amounts of data. Data mining uses pattern recognition technology that is similar to statistical techniques and mathematical techniques. The patterns found can provide useful information for generating economic benefits, effectiveness and efficiency. Algorithm Naive Bayes Classifier is one method of data mining that can be used to support effective and efficient promotion strategies. The Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm is used to predict the interest of the study based on the calculations performed. The data used are new student registration data from 2014 until 2016 at Bina Darma University. The results of this study are new models that are expected to provide important information can be used to assist the Marketing Team of Bina Darma University Palembang in policy making and implementation of appropriate marketing strategy.     AISI 316L is the austenitic stainless steel type that widely used in biomedical implant and artificial organs. This material\u27s cannot be hardened by heat treatment but the mechanical strength could be increased by cold working process. Dry shot peening is the one of cold working process in which the surface specimen bombarded with spherical media called shot to produce a compressive residual stress layer and modify mechanical properties of metal\u27s surface.     The use of structured methodologies is needed to accelerate the repair process, helping reduce costs and improve efficiency. Monte Carlo simulation and Six Sigma methodologies can be used to analyze the risks associated with the total cost of the project. Monte Carlo simulation is applied to understand the variability in total costs resulting from the probabilistic cost item. With the range of variation of the Six Sigma methodology of project costs can be reduced by operating on input factors with the greatest impact on total costs. In this paper we will discuss how Monte Carlo simulation can be used in Six Sigma methods to analyze project costs. The results obtained can identify the elements of the risk of high costs, the difference between the estimates of each cost component and the average cost is obtained.
