    Abstract Based on the research carried out with the aim of knowing and analyzing the influence of leadership and work motivation on the performance of the case study employees at the Pakis Village Unit Cooperative. This research belongs to the type of quantitative descriptive research. The method used is multiple linear regression. The sampling technique used a saturated sample, namely all 36 samples of the Pakis Village Unit Cooperative employees. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling where the determination of the sample when all members of the population are used as samples. To solve the problem in this study using SPSS assistance with validity test, reliability test, normality test, multiple linear regression analysis, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, f test, and t test. From this study, it was found that the variables of leadership, work motivation and employee performance had a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance, partially the leadership variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while the motivation variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Leadership, Work Motivation, Employee Performanc

    Forecasting Coffee Exports to the United States Using the Holt-Winters Exponential Method

    A study was conducted to estimate coffee exports to the United States using the Holt-Winters Exponential method. The aim of this research is to project coffee export activity over the next four periods. Data on coffee exports to the United States from 2000 to 2022 was obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and used as a research object. The range of values used in this study is between 0.1 and 0.5 for α, between 0.1 and 0.5 for β, and between 0.1 and 0.9 for ϒ. The results of this research state that it is estimated that in 2023, Indonesia will export coffee to the United States amounting to 61,332.60 tons, in 2024 amounting to 60,661.50 tons, in 2025 amounting to 61,563.27 tons, and in 2026 amounting to 60,196.50 tonsSebuah studi telah dilakukan untuk meramalkan ekspor kopi ke Amerika Serikat menggunakan metode Holt-Winters Exponential. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memproyeksikan aktivitas ekspor kopi selama empat periode ke depan. Data ekspor kopi ke Amerika Serikat dari tahun 2000 hingga 2022 diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia dan dijadikan sebagai objek penelitian. Rentang nilai yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah antara 0,1 dan 0,5 untuk α, antara 0,1 dan 0,5 untuk β, dan antara 0,1 dan 0,9 untuk ϒ. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa diperkirakan pada tahun 2023, Indonesia akan mengekspor kopi ke Amerika Serikat sebesar 61.332,60 ton, pada tahun 2024 sebesar 60.661,50 ton, pada tahun 2025 sebesar 61.563,27 ton, dan pada tahun 2026 sebesar 60.196,50 ton

    Vitamin D Ameliorates Kidney Ischemia Reperfusion Injury via Reduction of Inflammation and Myofibroblast Expansion

    The incidence rate of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) gets escalated each year. Kidney ischemia/reperfusion injury (IR injury) is the main cause of AKI after major cardiovascular surgery, trauma, or kidney transplantation. Reperfusion is considered essential for ischemic tissue. However, the evidence revealed that reperfusion itself has impact in cellular destruction. Vitamin D is not only known as calcium regulating hormone, but also as renoprotective agent. This study aimed to investigate the effect of vitamin D treatment on kidney IR injury in mice. Kidney IR injury was performed using 30 minutes of bilateral clamping of renal pedicles, then released in male Swiss Webster mice (3 months, 30-40 grams, n=20), which were divided into three groups: sham operation (SO) group, IR injury (IRI) group, and IR injury with 0.25 μg/ kg body weight of vitamin D treatment (IR7+VD). Mice were terminated at day 7 post operation, kidneys were harvested and used for paraffin making, immunostaining and RNA extraction. Tubular injury was quantified based on Periodic Acid-Schiff’s (PAS) staining. Immunostaining was done for quantification of macrophage (CD68) and myofibroblast (α-SMA). Reverse Transcriptase PCR (RT-PCR) was done to examine Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1 (MCP-1) and Toll-like Receptor 4 (TLR4) mRNA expression. Kidney IR injury induced significant increase of tubular injury, which was associated with higher myofibroblast and macrophage number. Meanwhile, Vitamin D treatment significantly reduced tubular, myofibroblast and macrophage number. RTPCR revealed reduction of TLR4 and MCP-1 mRNA expressions after Vitamin D treatment (p<0.05 vs IR group).
