    Analysis Of Causes Of Jembrana Disease In Bali Cow And Prevention Measures

    Jembrana disease is very detrimental to Balinese cattle breeders because it can cause rapid and sudden death of livestock in a relatively large area. Bengkulu Province is an area with the highest cases of Jembrana disease in Indonesia. This study aims to briefly explain the causes of Jembrana disease and its prevention efforts. The data collected is secondary data that is processed descriptively. The results of the analysis showed that Jembrana disease was caused by Lentovirus from the Retroviridae family. The clinical signs of this disease are mainly enlarged lymph nodes in the shoulders, front of the knees, and under the ears, as well as blood sweating in the back, inner thighs, abdomen, legs, and scrotum. Jembrana disease can be transmitted directly or indirectly through intermediaries. The most common risk factor for spreading is the uncontrolled movement of animals. The most recommended control and treatment are vaccination, counseling through communication, information and education and livestock traffic control. Breeders still need to control vectors and take biosecurity precautions such as maintaining the cleanliness of cages, equipment, places to eat and drink and administer vitamin

    This research was conducted in April to August 2019 at the Sepakat II Livestock Group, Mojorejo Village, Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong District. The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems and solutions to increase milk production in dairy cows in the Sepakat II farmer group in Mojorejo Village, Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency. Data collected in the form of technical, economic and management data for dairy cattle maintenance. Technical and economic data, i.e. types, sources, nutrition, and feed costs. Data about the type and source of feed were obtained by means of individual interviews and FGDs. Nutrient content was obtained through laboratory analysis at the University of Bengkulu Animal Husbandry Laboratory. Feed management data is in the form of problem analysis and problem solving solutions collected through individual interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively and using problem tree analysis and AHP (Analitycal Hierarchy Process). The results obtained that the priority of technological innovation in the context of increasing milk production in dairy cows in the Sepakat II Farmers Group are the utilization of location-specific alternative concentrates (63.7%), superior grass planting (25.8%) and extension technology for dairy farming (10, 5%).     Problems are often encountered in learning science Physics in class IX of MTsN Model Padang is the process of learning science Physics is less meaningful because the matter is less related to problems in daily life. This indicates that the behavior of character and critical thinking skills students in grade IX is still low. In addition, variations in the model / learning methods are applied to teachers in the classroom learning process is still lacked. The purpose of this study is to improve character\u27s behavior and critical thinking skills of students in grade IX MTsN Model Padang on Physics science use Problem Based Instruction model. This type of study is classroom action research. The research was carried out in class IX. 9 MTsN Model Padang in two cycles that began in November 2011 to December 2011. Data obtained through the research instrument, namely: the behavior observation sheet character, character\u27s behavior is limited questionnaire given to students each end of the cycle, and critical thinking skills test is conducted every meeting and analyzed by percentage analyze techniques (%). The study found there was an increase of 15.39% characterized the behavior of the criteria began to develop into 45.61% of students are on begins to develop criteria (MB), and 21.84% on the custom criteria (MK). Analysis of the character\u27s behavior questionnaire also showed that an increase of 38.71% criteria began to grow (MB) and 1.79% in the custom criteria (MK) to 59.15% in the criteria began to grow (MB) and 7.84% the criteria into the habit (MK). The analysis of critical thinking skills showed that there was an increase from 54.62 to 11.37 percentage completeness with a percentage of 75.14% to 63.91% completeness. Based on the research results can be concluded that the application of the model problem based instruction can improve students\u27 behavior that characterized the impact on critical thinking skills

    Knowledge improvement of agricultural extender through technical guidance of paddy soil test kit

    Paddy Soil Test Kit is one of the appropriate instruments to determine the nutrient status of lowland paddy and preparation of site-specific fertilization recommendations to increase rice productivity. Agriculture extension agents as technology transfer agents have a strategic role. Technical Guidance is needed to improve knowledge of agriculture extension. This study aims to analyze the level of knowledge of agricultural instructors on Technical Guidance use of Paddy Soil Test Kit and Preparation of Site-Specific Fertilization Recommendations. Data collection was carried out before and after implementation of Technical Guidance through direct interviews with a questionnaire guide. The evaluation was carried out on all participants of technical guidance, totaling 32 extension workers from representatives of 11 sub-districts throughout Bengkulu Selatan Regency by providing pretest and posttest to determine the increase in knowledge of Technical Guidance participants. The level of knowledge of participants is calculated using index % formula. The significance of increasing knowledge of technical and technical training participants was analyzed using non-parametric Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test statistical analysis. Correlation test to determine level of knowledge on age, experience, and education. Results of the analysis showed that there was a very significant increase ( 0.05) which is 0.571, experience 0.661, and education 0.130

    The goal of this research is to find evidence that managerial and institutional ownership affect earnings quality, and that earnings quality mediates the effect of managerial and institutional ownership on firm value. Firm value is measured  using Tobin's Q, earnings quality uses earnings persistence, managerial ownership uses INSDR and institutional ownership uses the percentage of share ownership divided by the company's total shares. This research was conducted on manufacturing companies from 2013 to 2017 and the sample used was 48 companies with a total of 240 observations. Path analysis was the analytical method used in this study. From these tests it is known that managerial ownership has a negative effect on earnings quality; institutional ownership has a positive effect on earnings quality; managerial ownership has no effect on firm value, institutional ownership has no effect on firm value. Earnings quality is not able to mediate the effect of managerial ownership on firm value, and conversely earnings quality is able to mediate the effect of institutional ownership on firm valu

    Pemupukan merupakan salah satu komponen utama dalam paket teknologi budidaya padi yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan produktivitas. Penerapan komponen teknologi pemupukan padi sawah tadah hujan di Desa Ulak Lebar, Kecamatan Merigi Kelindang, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah masih belum sesuai dengan rekomendasi sehingga produktivitas relatif rendah sekitar 2,5-3 ton/ha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respons petani padi sawah di Desa Ulak Lebar terhadap dosis pemupukan padi sawah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik survei melibatkan 15 orang petani pada dua kelompok tani pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Maret 2022. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah luas lahan sawah, rekomendasi dosis pemupukan padi sawah, dan respons petani terhadap rekomendasi dosis pemupukan spesifik lokasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 40% petani merespons positif untuk menerapkan dosis rekomendasi teknologi pemupukan, 53% petani masih ragu-ragu untuk menerapkan rekomendasi teknologi, dan 7% petani tidak ingin menerapkan rekomendasi teknologi. Alasan petani menerapkan teknologi pemupukan adalah keinginan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas padi, sedangkan alasan petani masih ragu dan tidak ingin menerapkan teknologi adalah masih belum yakin terhadap hasil penerapan pemupukan rekomendasi dan keterbatasan permodalan dalam penyediaan pupuk. &nbsp
