A measuring complex with a digital data bank of stereo photos of photonuclear reactions on ⁴He, ¹²C, ¹⁴N, and ¹⁶O nuclei got from a 4π track detector has been created. The file name was formatted into a certain type of record, which included information about the experiment and the position in the data bank. A graphical application was presented that allowed semi-automatic determination of points along tracks of different lengths and curvatures. Methods and algorithms allowing to transfer into the camera system and perform event reconstruction were developed. Additional programs for the physical analysis of the reconstructed events and the graphical representation of the obtained results were created.

Patients and Methods: of 456 patients who received medical consultations from September 2021 to July 2022, the authors selected 72 (15.8%) children (42 boys and 30 girls) who had a previous SARS-CoV-2 infection confirmed by serological tests or polymerase chain reaction and in whom herpes viruses were found during serological evaluation. Results: most of the children (81.4%) visited the polyclinic within the first six months after the COVID-19 infection. Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) was the most prevalent finding among herpesviruses detected in children with post-COVID-19 sequela — it was detected in 44 (61.1%) cases. Human herpesvirus (HHV) 6 and cytomegalovirus (CMV) were less common in this group and found in 41 (56.9%) and 30 (41.7%) children, respectively. HHV-1 and HHV-2 were detected more rarely — in 11 (15.3%) children. Monoinfection was diagnosed in 41 (56.9%) cases and a combination of viruses was found in 31 children, in 22 (71.0%) of them it comprised two viruses, in 6 (19.3%) — three viruses, and in 3 (9.7%) — four viruses. The presence of herpesvirus infections underpinned the main reasons why parents of the ill children were seeking for outpatient care, in particular: a prolonged subfebrile condition (18.0%), fatigue and sleep disorders (27.7%), rashes (16.6%), lymphadenopathy (16.7%), ENT diseases (33.3%), more frequently occurring respiratory diseases (33.3%), and the increase in seizure activity in children with epilepsy (8.3%). In addition to herpes viruses, pathogenic agents were detected in 18% of patients, including intracellular pathogens, which were found in 13.9% of 72 children. Taking into consideration the obtained results and established clinical diagnoses, the authors conducted a review and provided a rationale for the administered drug therapy, including medications for herpes treatment. Conclusion: a prior COVID-19 infection induces immunosuppression and, as a result, the activation of herpesvirus infections as long-term effects of COVID-19 (post-COVID conditions). The presence of mixed viral and bacterial pathogens is an indication for administering antivirals, immunomodulators, antibacterial agents, and probiotics. The research goal is to develop a new objective diagnostic method of prerecurrence syndrome that will prognose bleeding recurrence from gastroduodenal ulcers. Materials and methods. Method of laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) of the regional perfusion of tissue has been used. The experimental part has been done on 30 white laboratory rats. Characteristics of regional tissue perfusion in the simulation and laser hemostasis of bleeding have been studied. Gastroduodenal endoscopy has been performed with laser Doppler flowmetry (ELDF) in clinical conditions to predict the recurrence of ulcerative bleeding. The prognostic method of gastroduodenal ulcerative bleeding was used in 58 patients hospitalized with such pathology and activity of bleeding Forrest II. Results. The study of microcirculation parameters and experimental hemostasis has showed the possibility of using LDF to measure its performance. Effective hemostasis has been accompanied by a significant decrease in perfusion. On the basis of microcirculation parameters in ulcerative bleeding, medical adrenaline test has been proposed for an objective verification pre-recurrence syndrome. To evaluate the effectiveness of endoscopic hemostasis perfusion has been measured before and after its implementation. Conclusion. ELDF has objectified the prognosis of ulcerative bleeding recurrence, verified pre-recurrence syndrome and evaluated the efficacy of endoscopic hemostasi

RECENT VALIDATION STUDY OF THE TECHNIQUE FOR EXPRESS EVALUATION OF BURNUP IN LEAKING FUEL ASSEMBLIES OF WWER POWER UNITS

The present work continues the series of papers on the revision of the conventional technique for evaluation of leaking fuel burnup during reactor operation at nuclear power plants (NPPs). The focus was made on reduction of uncertainties in evaluation of leaking fuel burnup in modern fuel cycles at WWER-1000 power units. A set of models was proposed for express calculation of the build-up of caesium isotopes in fuel and to relate 134Cs/137Cs activity ratio with fuel burnup for each rod in the core. These models are based on routine neutronic calculations of pin-by-pin linear heat generation rates which are performed at NPPs for each particular fuel cycle with particular core loading pattern (however, these calculations do not provide data on caesium inventory in fuel). Previously, the proposed models have been validated against several practical cases. This latest validation study relied on the analysis of the most recent fuel cycles at two NPPs that reported spike-events and identified the leaking fuel assemblies (LFAs) after the reactor shutdown. The calculated 134Cs/137Cs activity ratios in the fuel of the LFAs were compared to the NPPs data on the activity measurements, and to the post-irradiation examination (PIE) data provided for one FA. A reasonable agreement between the model predictions and the experimental data on 134Cs/137Cs activity ratios in the fuel as a function of its burnup is shown for the advanced FA designs in modern fuel cycles
