Equilibrium Selection in Global Games with Strategic Complementarities

We study games with strategic complementarities, arbitrary numbers of players and actions, and slightly noisy payoff signals. We prove limit uniqueness: as the signal noise vanishes, the game has a unique strategy profile that survives iterative dominance. This generalizes a result of Carlsson and van Damme (1993) for two player, two action games. Te surviving profile, however, may depend on fine details of the structure of the noise. We provide sufficient conditions on payoffs for there to be noise-independent selection.Equilibrium Selection, Global Games, Strategic Complementarities, Supermodular Games

Interdisciplinary Methods in Computational Creativity: How Human Variables Shape Human-Inspired AI Research

The word creativity originally described a concept from human psychology, but in the realm of computational creativity (CC), it has become much more. The question of what creativity means when it is part of a computational system might be considered core to CC. Pinning down the meaning of creativity, and concepts like it, becomes salient when researchers port concepts from human psychology to computation, a widespread practice extending beyond CC into artificial intelligence (AI). Yet, the human processes shaping human-inspired computational systems have been little investigated. In this paper, we question which human literatures (social sciences, psychology, neuroscience) enter AI scholarship and how they are translated at the port of entry. This study is based on 22 in-depth, semi-structured interviews, primarily with human-inspired AI researchers, half of whom focus on creativity as a major research area. This paper focuses on findings most relevant to CC. We suggest that which human literature enters AI bears greater scrutiny because ideas may become disconnected from context in their home discipline. Accordingly, we recommend that CC researchers document the decisions and context of their practices, particularly those practices formalizing human concepts for machines. Publishing reflexive commentary on human elements in CC and AI would provide a useful record and permit greater dialogue with other disciplines.Comment: 5 pages, published in the Proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Computational Creativity, ICCC'2

Terdapat peningkatan produksi sebesar 98.291,73 BCM/bulandari produksi sebelum perbaikan jalan sebesar 176.008,42 BCM/bulan

Predicted signatures of p-wave superfluid phases and Majorana zero modes of fermionic atoms in RF absorption

We study the superfluid phases of quasi-2D atomic Fermi gases interacting via a p-wave Feshbach resonance. We calculate the absorption spectra of these phases under a hyperfine transition, for both non-rotating and rotating superfluids. We show that one can identify the different phases of the p-wave superfluid from the absorption spectrum. The absorption spectrum shows clear signatures of the existence of Majorana zero modes at the cores of vortices of the weakly-pairing px+ipyp_x+ip_y phase

This study aims to find out the application of criminal investigations against corporations and the impact resulting from the implementation of immigration criminal investigations against corporations. The method used is normative-empirical and further deepened through the collection and processing of qualitative data. The results of this study indicate that PT. Atrinco Mulia Sejati was proven to have committed an immigration crime, namely he was unable to carry out his obligations as a guarantor and in decision No. 397/Pid.Sus/2017/PN.Jkt.Ut sentenced Risnawati as a representative of PT. Atrinco Mulia Sejati and no other crimes were imposed apart from the corporation. In addition, there is an impact arising from the decision. Every court decision issued regarding an immigration crime can have a deterrent effect on perpetrators of criminal acts and prevent or suppress the possibility of the same crime being committed again, either by the same or a different subject. However, if you look at the facts on the ground, there are still forms of immigration violations committed by foreigners and the guarantor who guarantees the foreigner while in Indonesia does not know who the guaranteed foreigner is

This study aims to determine the differences in the improvement of students 'mathematical reasoning abilities and self-confidence taught by a metacognitive approach that is better than a realistic mathematics approach, as well as to analyze differences in the improvement of students' mathematical reasoning and self-confidence in terms of indicators. Data were obtained through tests of mathematical reasoning abilities consisting of students 'pre-test and post-test as well as a questionnaire to see students' self-confidence. Data were analyzed by independent test T-Test N-Gain Score. Based on the results of the independent T-Test N-Gain test scores of students' mathematical reasoning abilities obtained a significance value = 0.008 because of the sig level. smaller than 0.05, so it is concluded that there is a difference in the increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities with a metacognitive approach higher than the realistic mathematics approach. Furthermore, for self-confidence, the significance value = 0.000 because of the sig level. smaller than 0.05, it is concluded that there is a difference in the increase in students' self-confidence with a metacognitive approach higher than the realistic mathematics approach. Furthermore, for the research results, the difference in the increase in students' mathematical reasoning and self-confidence in terms of the indicators is that there is a significant difference in the increase in mathematical reasoning abilities in indicator 1 and indicator 2 which are taught with a metacognitive approach which is higher than students who are taught with a realistic mathematics approach and for indicators 3 and 4. there is no significant difference in the increase in mathematical reasoning abilities. For self-confidence, there is no significant difference in the increase in mathematical reasoning skills in indicator 1 and indicator 2 who are taught with a metacognitive approach and students who are taught with a realistic mathematics approach and there is a significant difference in the increase in self-confidence in indicator 3, indicator 4, and indicator 5 who are taught with the metacognitive approach is better than students who are taught with a realistic mathematics approach.
