The present work was carried out in order to study: 1. The symptoms of deficiency of macro and micronutrients; 2. The modification induced by those treatments in the histological make up of the leaves; 3. The effect of the deficiency on the chemical composition of leaves (+1, +2, +3), (+4, +5, +6), (+7, +8, +9) and sheats (+4, +5, +6). Young sugar cane plants were grown in nutrient solution, two treatments being used: complete solution (HOAGLAND & ARNON, 1950), deficient solution, in which a given nutrient were omited. Symptoms of malnutrition were observed in all treatments. The deficiencies affected the characteristic of the chloroplast observed through the histological examinations. Non deficient and deficient levels for the macronutrientes in the leaves expressed in function of the dry matter were.

Grain sorghum var. TEY-101 was grown in nutrient solution in the presence and in the absence of micronutrients. Symptoms of deficieny of all micronutrients were obtained. Growth, as measured by dry matter production was affected by the treatments in the folowing decreasing, order: minus Fe, minus Zn, minus Mn, minus B, minus Mo and minus Cu. An additional treatment in which excess Mn was used revealed a relative tolerance of the variety to high levels of this element. The results of chemical analyses of the leaves suggest that the following contents (in ppm) of micronutrients are associated with the respective deficiencies: B - 20 to 40, Cu - 8 to 10, Fe - 198, Mn - 32 to 35, Mo - 0.5, Zn - 46 to 52; in the case of Fe the Fe/Mn relationship seems to give a better indication of the nutritional status than the content of the element per se, being igual to 1.7 in the healthy plants, and 0.6 in the iron deficient ones.O sorgo granífero, var. TEY 101, foi cultivado em solução nutritiva na presença e ausência de micronutrientes.

A morfologia das diferentes fases de desenvolvimento, desde o gametófito até o esporófito adulto, bem como informações relativas ao comportamento das espécies em função de condições de dessecamento são apresentadas.<br>Populations of gametophytes and sporophytes of Adiantopsis radiata (L.) The morphology of different phases of development, from gametophytes until the formation of adult sporophytes, as well as informations relative to their behavior in conditions of reduced humidity are presented

Modeling wizard for confidential business processes

Abstract. One driver of business process management is the opportunity to reduce costs by outsourcing certain tasks to third-party organizations. At the same time, it is undesirable that delicate information (e. g., trade secrets) “leak ” to the involved third parties, be it for legal or economic reasons. The absence of such leaks — called noninterference — can be checked automatically. Such a check requires an assignment of each task of the business process as either confidential or public. Drawbacks of this method are that (1) this assignment of every task is cumbersome, (2) an unsuccessful check requires a corrected confidentiality assignment although (3) the diagnosis and correction of information leaks is a nontrivial task. This paper presents a modeling prototype that integrates the noninterference check into the early design phase of an interorganizational business process. It not only allows for instant feedback on confidentiality assignments, but also for an automated completion of partial assignments toward guaranteed noninterference.
