    Organizational Culture and Job Satisfaction : A Study Among Academicians at Al-Azhar University-Gaza

    The culture of organization has been central in business management research over the last few decades (Chow, 2001). Organizational culture can have an impact and potential impact on organization and individual, such as the commitment of faith, and loyalty to an organization which include turnover and satisfaction. There are numerous studies that had been conducted to examine the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction of employees in many countries. However, there is a very small number of literature that contribute to the study of culture in the context of higher education institution, particularly on how organizational culture affected job satisfaction. This study presents an attempt to investigate the level of organizational culture on job satisfaction among academicians at Al-Azhar University-Gaza in Palestine. In addition, this study also examined the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction. As for organizational culture, there are five dimensions which are: Supportiveness, Emphasis on rewards, Innovation, Performance Oriented and Stability & Communication. A total of 203 academicians participated in the study. Data were collected through questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 20 items organizational culture and 25 items on job satisfaction.     Information quality and decision-making effectiveness: a study of banks in Palestine

    Studies carried out on large banking firms across the globe suggest that information quality affects decision making, and managers are likely to be blamed the most for making right or poor decisions.However, few of the previous studies focused on how information quality affects decision making among bank managers operating in Palestine, which revealed the important role of information quality in decision-making effectiveness.A sample of 146 bank managers in Palestinian banks was recruited.The data collected were analyzed by SPSS and partial least squares-structural equation modeling for descriptive and hypothesis testing.The findings indicated the relevance and importance of information quality dimensions to decision-making effectiveness in the banking sector of Palestine.The results can guide banks in Palestine to understand better and utilize the information facilities at their disposal towards the provision of sustainable banking services in Palestine

    The Moderating Effect of Social Media Usage on the Relationship between the Perceived Value of the Websites and Motivational Factors on Sustainable Travel Agents

    As sustainable tourism gains increasing attention, understanding the factors that influence travelers' motivation to engage with sustainable travel agents becomes crucial. This study investigates the moderating effect of social media usage on the relationship between the perceived value of websites and motivational factors for sustainable travel agents. The study proposes that social media usage acts as a moderator in shaping the relationship between the perceived value of websites and motivational factors. This study has utilized smart tourism. Therefore, independent variable motivation in terms of informativeness gratification and gratification acted as moderating variables. This study has utilized an online questionnaire adapted from a standardized questionnaire based on the literature review. Moreover, a total of 146 managers were surveyed in which they were required to respond to 55 items that elicited the 7 variables social media use, Propensity, perceived website value, motivating factors, entertainment gratification, informativeness gratification, sustainable smart tourism. The data were analyzed by SPSS and PLS-SEM. The findings indicated that relevance and importance of social media use and sustainable smart tourism. The result revealed that 7 hypotheses had a significant relationship. 3 hypotheses did not show a moderating effect. Overall, this study extends the understanding of sustainable smart tourism. These findings will benefit travel agents’ managers in Malaysia to better understand the role of social media use and utilize it towards developing sustainable sustainable smart tourism

    Nowadays, information systems such as the Agile model can adapt to the structures and processes of smart organizations, particularly SMEs. The faster an information technology company adopts risk management-based Agile in a work environment, the higher its performance and energy efficiency. To maximize the value generated by agile decision-makers or managers, SMEs must have the capability and willingness to adopt new risk management-based technology models. Additionally, the study identifies a gap in the use of the Agile Model to influence the success of SME projects in the Middle East region's SMEs (, UAE, KSA, Oman, Egypt, Iraq, and Qatar). The study is aimed at SMEs in the electronics and energy sectors, as well as IT businesses and big data projects, with the goal of encouraging them to adopt an Agile model. This study was characterized positively in numerous ways, including the adoption of technology in the workplace to accommodate abrupt changes in energy management schemes and various government policies promoting energy conservation. Additionally, employee training and adaptability in dealing with programs that can affect the process help accomplish the objectives.
