The research contained teacher candidates studying in sports science departments of state universities in the Eastern Black Sea region, and randomly selected 205 people as sample group. Socio-demographic form, self-efficacy and patience tendency scales were performed by participants. Statistical analysis was performed in computer environment. The arithmetic averages of the scores of sports science students from scales are reported. Spearman correlation analysis (r) was used. The results showed that while the academic self-efficacy levels of the participants were high, the total and sub-dimensions of the patience disposition were at an average level. Psitively low level of correlation was seen between continuous variables. When academic self-efficacy and the subdimensions of patience tendency were examined, a positively low correlation was found with patience against haste, and a moderate positive relationship with anger against anger was seen. It is thought that this situation is because of the participants’ in-faculty curriculum programs and the effects of the sports branch they are dealing with on their character development

The universe of the research; while creating OMU, 371 active students participated in the sample group in the 2019-2020 academic year. The participants were administered a personal information form (6) developed by the researchers, the imagery Inventory developed by Hall, Mack, Paivio, and Hausenblas (1998), and the Trait Anxiety Scale (20) developed by Spielberger, Goursuch, and Lushene (1970). Gender was found to affect the imagery sub-dimensions (p 0.05), it was observed that it affected trait anxiety (p = 0.003). Alcohol use had no effect on imagery and trait anxiety (p> 0.05). While smoking affected the general motivation (p = 0.05) in the imagination levels, it did not affect the other imagery states and trait anxiety (p> 0.05). While it affected the cognitive (p = 0.004) and motivational specific (p = 0.008) sub-dimensions at imagination levels with age, it did not affect the general motivation and mastery sub-dimensions (p> 0.05). Age had an effect on trait anxiety levels (p = 0.04). It has been found that gender and age affect imagery and trait anxiety. It has been found that alcohol and cigarette use did not affect it. The demographic information questionnaire, which was developed by the researcher and consisted of 5 questions, was applied to the participants, and then the Problem Solving Skills Inventory and Aggression Scale were applied. There has no effect of gender on aggression levels (p> 0.05). It has been observed that gender affects the thinking approach (p = 0.011). in problem-solving skills. It has been seen that doing sports did not affect aggression (p > 0.05). While it has observed that doing sports affected the thinking approach (p = 0.019) sub-dimension in problem-solving skills, it did not affect other sub-dimensions (p > 0.05). As a result, it has been determined that gender does not affect aggression and problem-solving skills in secondary education students. While it was observed that doing sports did not affect aggression in secondary education students, it was found that the thinking approach in problem-solving skills did not affect the other sub-dimensions.
