    The Effectiveness of STEM Integrated Handouts to Improve Students Creative Thinking Skills in Biotechnology Material

    This study aims to know the effectiveness of STEM integrated handouts to improve students creative thinking skills in biotechnology material. The design used was nonequivalent pre-post control group design. This research was implemented in grade IX of SMPN 25 Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. The subject were 70 students divided into experiment class (N=35) and control class (N=35) with purposive sampling technique. The data collection was done by pretest and posttest for students creative thinking skills and students responses to the STEM integrated handouts. Based on the result, it were obtained that an average N-gain of experiment class was 0,64 greater than average N-gain of control class was 0,40. Both of class in medium category. Average N-gain of fluency was 0,50 and originality was 0,66 with medium category, then average N-gain of flexibility was 0,74 and elaboration was 0,79 with high category. The student responses showed almost all of the students agreed to the implementation of STEM integrated handouts lead to be interested and motivated in biotechnology material

    The Effectiveness of Students’ Worksheet of Virtual Laboratory Practice on Dynamic Electricity to Improve Science Process Skill

    The purpose of this research is to produce virtual laboratory practicum students' worksheet using PhETsimulations media, which is attractive, useful, and effective to improve students' science process skill. From the potency and problemsgained from the analysis of Physics teachers' responses of Senior High Schools in Lampung Province, Indonesia, 40% of Senior High Schools have laboratory equipment and facilities for real practicum and 80% of Physics teachers need students' worksheet despite in the virtual laboratory forms. Based on the students' need analysis, 100%students need practicum activities. The data collecting technique used wasassessment sheet of material and media experts and questionnaires of attractiveness and usefulness of students' worksheets. The test involved 68 State and Private Senior High School Students inLampung Province, Indonesia. It was obtained that the means of pre-test result = 55 and 44, and post-test result = 89 and 82. The usefulness and attractivenesswere (86,4%) attractive, (84,7%) useful, and effectiveness with N-Gain (g) 0.80 and 0.75. It is considered high classification to improve students' learning achievement. The effectiveness level in improving science process skill is measured from practicum activity score, hypotheses proposal, experiments, data collecting, and conclusion drawing. The means of N-Gain (g) = 0.7, and it is considered high and effective. At the end of the practicum activity, there was a cognitive assessment of the comprehension test results of dynamic electricity concept from both schools. The means score were 89.33 and 86.67, which means that the scores have fulfilledthe minimum criteria of mastery learning (75)

    Instructional media in particular can serve as a means to provide a visual experience to encourage and motivate students to learn, clarify and simplify the concept and enhance absorption student learning . The purpose of this study is to develop a KIT (sciences box) on the material of simple plane and worksheets that can be used as a single unit by applying experimental and demonstration methods for eighth grade students of SMP Satu Atap 1 Kedondong. Development is done by adapting the model of media development from Suyanto and Sartinem (2009 ) which includes the seven stages of development. After testing the product is obtained that the KIT and worksheets are proper and interesting to use as a medium of learning. This research obtain product in the form of KIT and worksheets by applying the demonstration and experimental mothods.Media pembelajaran secara khusus dapat berfungsi sebagai sarana yang dapat memberikan pengalaman visual kepada siswa untuk mendorong motivasi belajar, mempermudah konsep serta mempertinggi daya serap belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan KIT (Kotak Instrumen Terpadu) pada materi pesawat sederhana beserta LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) yang digunakan sebagai satu kesatuan dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi maupun eksperimen untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Satu Atap 1 Kedondong. Pengembangan ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan media Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan. Setelah dilakukan uji coba produk diperoleh bahwa KIT dan LKS menarik dan bermanfaat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memperoleh produk berupa KIT dan LKS dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi maupun eksperimen

    Based on observations and interviews with teachers of science physics, it was known that teachers are less familiarize students to discuss a variety of phenomena in daily life related to the subject matter. The workable solution is to apply the model of problem based learning (PBL). This study aims to determine the effect of metacognition skills toward motivation and the influence of metacognition skill toward the mastery of students learning concept trough PBL model. The research was conducted at SMP N 1 Way Jepara , using one class that is VIIIB class with the sample of 32 students and using one-shot case study design. On this research could be concluded that there are the influence of metacognition skills toward students learning motivation using PBL model by 41 % and there are the influence of metacognition skills towards the mastery of student learning concept using PBL models by 19 %.Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran IPA Fisika, diketahui guru kurang membiasakan siswanya untuk mendiskusikan berbagai fenomena dalam keseharian yang berkaitan dengan materi pelajaran. Adapun solusi yang dapat dilaksanakan yaitu dengan menerapkan model problem based learning (PBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap motivasi dan penguasaan konsep belajar siswa melalui model PBL. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 1 Way Jepara, menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VIIIB dengan jumlah sampel 32 siswa dan menggunakan desain one-shot case study. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan model PBLsebesar 41% dan terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap penguasaan konsep belajar siswa menggunakan model PBL sebesar 19%

    This study aims to describe the implementation and implementation of Guidance and Counseling during a pandemic. The approach used is an approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects were Guidance and Counseling Teachers and Students of Class X and XI SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documents. The results of the study explain that the implementation and services of BK are not effective. This ineffectiveness is caused by several obstacles and several factors. The main obstacle is the difficulty of communication between the counseling teacher and students because the counseling teacher and students cannot talk face to face or directly. This becomes an obstacle because BK teachers are very difficult to recognize and understand students only from social media. Of course, direct communication and on social media are very different. Other things that become obstacles include: decreased student enthusiasm, lack of student care for BK subjects, decreased immunity, ineffective time, BK teachers who have difficulty recognizing the character of their students, technology and media that are used incorrectly. and economic factors. The factors above have caused the implementation and implementation of Guidance and Counseling to not run effectively at SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan

    Pengaruh Keterampilan Penggunaan Media Tik Program Latihan Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa

    This research aimed to determine the influence of ICT media USAge skills training program towards physics students achievement of students at SMA Bandar Lampung. This research was conducted at SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung and used an experimental class (XI IPA2) with total sample 33 students. Simple liniear regression test has been done to obtain the result of research. The result of this research was there was increasing contribution of the ICT media USAge skills training program to physics students achievement at every meeting outcome by 29,8%; 38,9%; 53,8%. Based on result of the test that have done, there was positive influence of the ICT media USAge skills training program to physics students achievement outcome by 63,2%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan penggunaan media TIK Program Latihan terhadap hasil belajar fisika di SMA Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen (XI IPA2) dengan jumlah sampel 33 siswa. Dilakukan uji regresi linier sederhana untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kontribusi keterampilan penggunaan media TIK Program Latihan terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa pada setiap pertemuan sebesar 29,8%; 38,9%; 53,8%. Berdasarkan hasil uji menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif keterampilan penggunaan media TIK Program Latihan terhadap hasil belajar fisika sebesar 63,2%

    Inventarisasi Tumbuhan pada Ketinggian yang Berbeda Pasca Letusan Gunung Merapi Jalur Pendakian Balerante Kecamatan Kemalang Kabupaten Klaten

    Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi merupakan kawasan yang sering mengalami suksesi akibat dari letusan Gunung Merapi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menginventarisasi dan mengetahui jenis tumbuhan serta keanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan yang terdapat di sekitar jalur pendakian Balerante Kemalang Klaten pasca letusan Gunung Merapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksplorasi dan deskripsi : pengambilan data dengan diamati morfologi dan deskripsi tumbuhan, dicatat, didokumentasikan pada area ketinggian yang berbeda ( 1.400, 1.600 dan 1.800 M.dpl) di Gunung Merapi sepanjang jalur pendakian Balerante Kemalang Klaten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 12 bangsa, 13 suku meliputi 24 jenis tumbuhan. Pada ketinggian 1.400 M.dpl didapatkan 13 jenis tumbuhan dari 8 suku, pada ketinggian 1.600 M.dpl didapatkan 6 jenis tumbuhan dari 5 suku, pada ketinggian 1.800 M.dpl didapatkan11 jenis tumbuhan.dari 9 suku. Keanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan pasca letusan Gunung Merapi di jalur pendakian Balereante Kemalang Klaten paling tinggi pada ketinggian 1.400 m.dpl ditemukan 13 jenis tumbuhan. Jenis tumbuhan belum banyak tumbuh ditemukan, ketinggian semakin tinggi dan dekat ke kawah aktif , keanekaragaman tumbuhan semakin rendah. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman tumbuhan di Kawasan Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi pasca letusan renda
