Improving the accuracy of the active power load sharing in paralleled generators in the presence of drive motors shaft speed instability / Abdullah M. Eial Awwad, Mahmoud M. S. Al-Suod, Alaa M. Al-Quteimat, O. O. Ushkarenko, Atia AlHawamleh // International Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications. – 2021. – Vol. 67. – P. 371–377.The paper suggests an improved method of active power distribution among the gas-diesel generators operating in parallel; the method involves the control of torque and the angular positions of their rotors. The use of the suggested approach to the solution of the active power distribution task in the presence of instability of drive motor speed provides the increase of autonomous power system operation efficacy and rising the power unit’s performance. The authors analyzed the causes of generation of low-frequency fluctuations of generator drive engine speed; in autonomous electric power systems, gas diesel generators are increasingly used as such generator drive engines. It is suggested to use the developed method and structure of the optical device for control of rotation period and the measurement of the generator rotor angle position characterized with high accuracy, as the sensor. The authors developed a schematic diagram of active power distribution among the generators operating in parallel, which uses the cross feedback for gas-powered diesel engine shafts momentum and the generator rotor angle position. They obtained experimental results confirming the efficiency of the suggested active power distribution method and its practical implementation

Mahmoud, M. Al-Suod. Optimization of the Speed Controller in Gas Diesel Device Including in the Autonomous Electric Power System / M. S. Al-suod Mahmoud, M. Eial Awwad Abdullah, S. Al-arni Mohammad, M. Al-Quteimat Alaa, O. Ushkarenko // Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ser. II. – 2019. – Vol. 14, іss. 4. – P. 42–48.Abstract: The work consists of the development of the clarified model of a gas-diesel device by taking into account its design features and the influence of the turbo-supercharger. The analysis of the influence of the turbine on the physical processes occurring in the gas-diesel device, on the basis of which positive feedback on the torque on the shaft of the gas-diesel device is introduced, has been carried out. The process of parametric optimization of the PID-controller of the gas-diesel device has been automated to ensure high performance of the control quality in dynamic modes of its operation. As a result of modeling, oscillograms(records produced by an oscillograph or oscilloscope.) of transients before and after optimization of the controller have been obtained

Development of Graphical Analytical Models for Digital Signal Processing System Structures / Mahmoud M. Al-suod, A. O. Ushkarenkа, Abdel Hamid Soliman, Mahmoud Zeidan, Abdullah M. Eial Awwad, Alaa M. Al-Quteimat // Jordan Journal of Electrical Engineering. – 2020. – Vol. 6, № 2. – P. 140–153.Abstract : This paper proposes an improved method for describing digital filter structures as part of digital signal processing (DSP) systems, characterized by high information content of its models. The proposed approach is used to perform synthesis of graphical analytical models of DSP systems as well as their analysis by means of multilevel decomposition. All the system elements are presented in the form of functional structures, and the input counts processing – by the discrete system - is considered as the process of converting arguments by these functional structures. Moreover, graphical analytical models of basic structures of finite impulse response (FIR) and infinite impulse response (IIR) filters are developed and integrated with object-oriented programming language to be used in various projects in the form of snap-in modules. Additionally, the method, proposed in this paper is used for synthesising an optimized structure of a digital filter for calculating the mean and current values of determined periodic signal at the optimal discrete system’s speed and invariance to discretization frequency. The obtained practical results show that the proposed method can be used with a great confidence in synthesizing optimized structures of digital filters as well as in the optimization of DSP systems’ structures with the purpose of identifying the mean and RMS voltage values. The latter is an indicator that the proposed method can be applicable for various electronic systems

Research of the Data Exchange Processes during the Automated Control of Autonomous Electric Power Systems / M. Al-Quteimat Alaa, M. Al-Soud Mahmoud, M. Eial Awwad Abdullah, AlHawamleh Atia, Zeidan Mahmoud, O. Ushkarenko, O. Dorohan // Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ser. II. – 2020. – Vol. 15, іss. 2. – P. 48–52.Abstract: The article proposes a technique for studying the information exchange processes between the elements of the automated control system of the autonomous electric power system (AEPS). The analysis of information flows in the network of the distributed control system AEPS, which are formed by the software components of the automated workplace of the operator, and transmitted to the hardware automation means has been performed. The use of queuing theory allows to estimate the possibility of real-time system operation. The obtained analytical expressions, which allow the calculation of the average queuing time of the queuing system, are used to select the scan period in the SCADA system, which does not result in the loss of data packets. An analytical relation autonomous between the complexities of the AEPS scheme, which is used as part of the operator’s automated workplace for the automated control of the AEPS, and the workload of the communication channel has been established. It has been proposed to use an integrated complexity indicator of circuit for comparison of the AEPS schemes in terms of the load on the information channel
