Detection of Lying Electrical Vehicles in Charging Coordination Application Using Deep Learning

The simultaneous charging of many electric vehicles (EVs) stresses the distribution system and may cause grid instability in severe cases. The best way to avoid this problem is by charging coordination. The idea is that the EVs should report data (such as state-of-charge (SoC) of the battery) to run a mechanism to prioritize the charging requests and select the EVs that should charge during this time slot and defer other requests to future time slots. However, EVs may lie and send false data to receive high charging priority illegally. In this paper, we first study this attack to evaluate the gains of the lying EVs and how their behavior impacts the honest EVs and the performance of charging coordination mechanism. Our evaluations indicate that lying EVs have a greater chance to get charged comparing to honest EVs and they degrade the performance of the charging coordination mechanism. Then, an anomaly based detector that is using deep neural networks (DNN) is devised to identify the lying EVs. To do that, we first create an honest dataset for charging coordination application using real driving traces and information revealed by EV manufacturers, and then we also propose a number of attacks to create malicious data. We trained and evaluated two models, which are the multi-layer perceptron (MLP) and the gated recurrent unit (GRU) using this dataset and the GRU detector gives better results. Our evaluations indicate that our detector can detect lying EVs with high accuracy and low false positive rate

This study investigated the impact of teaching physics via modeling on theacquisition of energy and momentum conservation concepts. The sample consisted of 91Ā female students selected from 11th grade female students in two schools in Al-DakhiliyahĀ Governorate in Oman. The experimental group (n = 45) was taught via the modeling method,Ā and the control group (n = 46) was taught using a traditional method. The study lasted sixĀ weeks during the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014. A teacher guide forĀ teaching by models was designed and validated by a group of experts. To measure theĀ acquisition of physics concepts, energy and momentum, an achievement test was used. TheĀ test consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions. Its reliability was measured by test-retestĀ method (r = 0.79). The results revealed a statistically significant difference (p < .05) betweenĀ the means of the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental group. TheĀ study recommends that science teachers ought to use models and modeling in their teaching.Ā Workshops to train supervisors, in-service teachers and pre-service teachers in theĀ construction and development of scientific models need to be conducte

Penyesuaian Impedansi Antena Open Dipole RF 217 MHz Menggunakan Metode Single Stub

In this investigation the milk - clotting activity of crystalline pig pepsin was determined by using method of Soxhlet. The suitability of curd for making soft and kachkaval cheeses was examined, too. The results were: It takes a long time to coagulate milk with pepsin. First half of this time was from adding pepsin milk, to the first marks of coagulation. Second half was from the beginning of coagulation to the end of clotting (cutting time); Pepsin concentration of 0,020 g/L milk gives good coagulum, but softer than the one with rennet; For cheese - making, the practical clotting - strength of pepsin was about one half of that determined by the method of Soxhlet. The cura was suitable for cooking process which is important in making kachkaval cheese; The white soft and kachkaval cheeses made with pepsin had had good organoleptic properties without bitterness for 21 days

In this investigation two lots of raw cows milk were made into kachkaval cheeses using either (a) commercial rennet (control), or (b) pig pepsin. The results were: no sings of bitterness were evident in any of the cheeses for 60 days; no differences in organoleptic quality were detected; kachkaval which was made by using pig pepsin, had 2.40 % higher water content; no significant difference in total N content of the experimental and control cheeses; using pig pepsin as a single source of coagulation, needs more investigation with some modifications to cheesemaking procedures, to obtain firm curd

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) must be recognized as a strategic and important force to accelerate regional development, because the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is increasing every year, where the number of MSMEs in Indonesia in 2020 is 64.2 million units, and proven contributes 61 percent to GDP (Gross Domestic Income) (Airangga, 2021). MSME problems include financial and non-financial problems. To overcome these MSME problems, supply chain management can be implemented by implementing several activities, namely (1) management of managerial aspects aimed at increasing productivity, marketing capabilities, and human resource development, (2) capital aspects by collaborating with banks, and (3) partnership program to increase cooperation with suppliers and consumers. MSMEs who are members of the Garudayaksa Nusantara Cooperative in dealing with MSME problems apply the concept of supply chain management by choosing a few suppliers and an efficient distribution channel model, namely supplier-UMKM-consumer

This study aimed to observe the influence of two sources of juvenile tiger grouper Epinephelus fuscoguttatus (ForsskĆ„l, 1775) from the sea and the hatchery by several types of food (pellets, tilapia anchovies). Growing Studies were carried out above 9600 juvenile tiger grouper from two sources namely differing from the sea of 4800 juvenile and 4800 juvenile hatchery from hatching. The design of treament were done by 2x3Ā  with four replications. During the 30 day rearing period, each 5 days is takenĀ  sampling total body length (cm) juvenile tiger grouper. The results showed that during the rearing period the value of marine juvenile grouper only high growth in juvenile ate anchovies and tilapia except on day 5 and 30, and could not adapt to the food from the pellet. While in hatchery juvenile tiger grouper had high growth to consume pellets only and could not adapt well to the food of tilapia and except anchovies on day 15th
