    ANALISIS KESTABILAN MODEL PENYEBARAN RUMOR MELALUI TWITTER DI INDONESIA

    Rumor merupakan bentuk penyebaran informasi dan komunikasi sosial yang dapat membentuk opini publik serta mempengaruhi kepercayaan individu yang mengarah pada perubahan sikap individu terhadap aspek ekonomi, politik, dan sosial. Rumor juga merupakan kebenaran yang belum bisa dikon�rmasi dan berdampak negatif bagi masyarakat, meskipun intervensi dapat dilakukan untuk meminimalkan dampak negatifnya. Oleh karena itu, memahami penyebaran rumor sangatlah penting untuk mendapatkan informasi ilmiah dan strategi yang lebih baik dalam mengurangi dampak negatifnya. Twitter menjadi media penyebaran berita gosip, rumor atau hoax secara spasial dan kronologi karena memiliki struktur komunitas yang unik. Berita terpopuler di Indonesia berdasarkan Getdaytrends Twitter pada tahun 2021 adalah #SahkanRUUPKS. Penelitian ini membahas model penyebaran rumor dengan mempertimbangkan kredibilitas rumor, korelasi rumor dengan kehidupan dan klasi�kasi kelompok berdasarkan kepribadian. Perilaku solusi dari model dianalisis melalui analisis kestabilan di sekitar titik kesetimbangan bebas rumor dan titik kesetimbangan endemik penyebaran rumor. Kestabilan tersebut juga dikaitkan dengan bilangan reproduksi dasar yang menandakan apakah rumor akan menghilang atau menyebar dalam populasi. Hasil analitik dikon�rmasi dengan data aktual dari Twitter di Indonesia dengan SahkanRUUPKS. Implementasi model penyebaran rumor pada data aktual dari Twitter di Indonesia dengan #SahkanRUUPKS menyimpulkan bahwa basic reproduction number R0 < 1 artinya jumlah penyebar tidak meningkat dan berita tentang #SahkanRUUPKS akan memudar dan dilupakan atau #SahkanRUUPKS tidak menyebar dalam populasi

    The study of the spreading of a rumor is significantly important to obtain scientific information and better strategies in reducing its negative impact. Twitter has become a medium for spreading rumors or hoaxes spatially and chronologically because it has a unique community structure. This study demonstrates the model of spreading rumors by considering credibility, correlation, and mass classification based on personality is discussed. The behavior of a model solution around equilibrium points is investigated with the Jacobian matrices. The stability also corresponds to a threshold number indicating the rumor fades away or continues to spread in the population. The analytical results are confirmed by actual data from Twitter in Indonesia with #SahkanRUUPKS. The simulation results show that the free rumor equilibrium point is stable and the threshold number is less than 1. Our study shows that the number of spreaders does not increase and the #SahkanRUUPKS rumor will vanish

    Involvement of the Wbp pathway in the biosynthesis of Porphyromonas gingivalis lipopolysaccharide with anionic polysaccharide

    The periodontal pathogen Porphyromonas gingivalis has two different lipopolysaccharide (LPS) molecules, O-LPS and A-LPS. We have recently shown that P. gingivalis strain HG66 lacks A-LPS. Here, we found that introduction of a wild-type wbpB gene into strain HG66 restored formation of A-LPS. Sequencing of the wbpB gene from strain HG66 revealed the presence of a nonsense mutation in the gene. The wbpB gene product is a member of the Wbp pathway, which plays a role in the synthesis of UDP-ManNAc(3NAc)A in Pseudomonas aeruginosa; UDP-ManNAc(3NAc)A is sequentially synthesized by the WbpA, WbpB, WbpE, WbpD and WbpI proteins. We then determined the effect of the PGN-0002 gene, a wbpD homolog, on the biosynthesis of A-LPS. A PGN-0002-deficient mutant demonstrated an A-LPS biosynthesis deficiency. Taken together with previous studies, the present results suggest that the final product synthesized by the Wbp pathway is one of the sugar substrates necessary for the biosynthesis of A-LPS

    Analysis of genetic variation in sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) genotypes with various agronomical traits using SPAR methods

    Genetic variation among 45 genotypes of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) representing seven subpopulations was assessed using three single primer amplification reaction (SPAR) methods viz., inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR), random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and directed amplification of minisatellite-region DNA (DAMD). Totally 15 ISSR, 8 RAPD and 7 DAMD primers generated 263 amplification products, accounting for 84.6% polymorphism across all the genotypes. The Mantel's test of correlation revealed the best correlation between ISSR and cumulative data with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.84. Assessment of population diversity indicated that the maximum intra population genetic diversity was recorded among high FeZn lines (HFL) having maximum values of Nei's genetic diversity (h) (0.244), Shannon information index (I) (0.368) and the percentage of polymorphic loci (Pp) (72.65%) while the corresponding lowest values of 0.074, 0.109 and 17.95% respectively were observed among the members of MDT subpopulation. The mean coefficient of gene differentiation (GST) and the gene flow (Nm) between populations were observed to be 0.396 and 0.7680 respectively. The analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA) suggested that maximum genetic variation exists within populations (95%) than among populations (5%). Thus the information obtained from this study could be utilized in sorghum breeding programmes for the development of varieties with improved nutrition and agronomic values in future
