Impurity-induced smearing of the spin resonance peak in Fe-based superconductors
The spin resonance peak in the iron-based superconductors is observed in
inelastic neutron scattering experiments and agrees well with predicted results
for the extended s-wave () gap symmetry. On the basis of four-band and
three-orbital tight binding models we study the effect of nonmagnetic disorder
on the resonance peak. Spin susceptibility is calculated in the random phase
approximation with the renormalization of the quasiparticle self-energy due to
the impurity scattering in the static Born approximation. We find that the spin
resonance becomes broader with the increase of disorder and its energy shifts
to higher frequencies. For the same amount of disorder the spin response in the
state is still distinct from that of the state.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figure
Negative Sobolev Spaces in the Cauchy Problem for the Cauchy-Riemann Operator
Let D be a bounded domain in Cn (n > 1) with a smooth boundary @D. We indicate appropriate Sobolev
spaces of negative smoothness to study the non-homogeneous Cauchy problem for the Cauchy-Riemann
operator @ in D. In particular, we describe traces of the corresponding Sobolev functions on @D and give
an adequate formulation of the problem. Then we prove the uniqueness theorem for the problem, describe
its necessary and sufficient solvability conditions and produce a formula for its exact solution
Simulation of the Neutral Particle Converter of the ARIES-L Device
AbstractThis paper presents the concept of Lunar regolith surface layer composition analysis using solar wind bombardment and registration of the sputtered and knocked out atoms converted into ions with solid-state converters and subsequent registration of ions by high-aperture electrostatic analyzer. Monte Carlo binary collision approximation code is used to calculate angular and energy distributions of scattered and sputtered atoms. Literature data are used for evaluation of charged fractions of scattered and sputtered components and SIMION code is used for calculation of charged particles trajectories in electrostatic deflector. The total sensitivity of the proposed scheme is evaluated
