Regular Semiopen Sets on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Topological Spaces in Sostak’s Sense
We introduce the concepts of fuzzy (r; s)-regular semi (resp. (r; s)-α, (r; s)-pre, (r; s)-β open sets, their respective interior and closure operators on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces in ˆ Sostak’s sense and then we investigate some of their characteristic properties
STUDY ON DRUG UTILIZATION PATTERN OF CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE PATIENTS IN A TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL
Objective: Chronic Renal Failure is a worldwide public health problem with an increasing incidence and prevalence, poor outcomes and high cost of treatment due to co-morbidities and Polypharmacy. The aim of this study was to describe drug utilization pattern of patients with chronic renal failure in a tertiary care hospital. Methods: The study was conducted between July -2013 to December-2013. In total 150 patients were identified and 135 patients were recruited for further study. Study subject medical record and prescription was reviewed on their regular hospital visit. Those were missed the followup, their medical records and prescription were reviewed from the medical record departmentResults: In this study, male subjects (62.85 %) predominated; 37.05% of the patients were in the age group of 51 to 60 years. The mean age of subjects was 53.26 ±15.69 years. The average number of drugs prescribed per prescription was 5.26 ± 3.79.Conclusion: The prevalence of Polypharmacy was high in patients with CRF. Diuretics, anti hypertensive and anti diabetic drugs were used more frequently in chronic renal failure patients. Moreover time to time studies are required to improve management strategy and quality of life of patients.Â
Smart Asset Management for Electric Utilities: Big Data and Future
This paper discusses about future challenges in terms of big data and new
technologies. Utilities have been collecting data in large amounts but they are
hardly utilized because they are huge in amount and also there is uncertainty
associated with it. Condition monitoring of assets collects large amounts of
data during daily operations. The question arises "How to extract information
from large chunk of data?" The concept of "rich data and poor information" is
being challenged by big data analytics with advent of machine learning
techniques. Along with technological advancements like Internet of Things
(IoT), big data analytics will play an important role for electric utilities.
In this paper, challenges are answered by pathways and guidelines to make the
current asset management practices smarter for the future.Comment: 13 pages, 3 figures, Proceedings of 12th World Congress on

TWO PHASE CFD FLOW ANALYSIS OF R134a AND R1234yf REFRIGERANTS AND ITS EFFECT ON COOLING PERFORMANCE IN AN AUTOMOBILE HVAC EVAPORATOR CORE
The purpose of this research is to conduct a two-phase fluid analysis and simulation for examining the influence of refrigerant (R134a/R1234yf) properties on cooling performance of an automobile HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) evaporator core and compare their performances. In this research, streamline deviation, static pressure, velocity magnitude, pressure co-efficiency, Reynolds number and turbulent kinetic energy play a key role in the comparison of the refrigerants R1234yf and R134a two-phase fluids. Subsequently, it was found that R134a properties were better towards the cooling performance of an automobile HVAC evaporator core.
An ε -Uniform Numerical Method for a System of Convection-Diffusion Equations with Discontinuous Convection Coefficients and Source Terms
In this paper, a parameter-uniform numerical method is suggested to solve a system of singularly perturbed convection-diffusion equations with discontinuous convection coefficients and source terms subject to the Dirichlet boundary condition. The second derivative of each equation is multiplied by a distinctly small parameter, which leads to an overlap and interacting interior layer. A numerical method based on a piecewise uniform Shishkin mesh is constructed. Numerical results are presented to support the theoretical results
Modulational instability in -symmetric Bragg grating structures with saturable nonlinearity
We investigate the nontrivial characteristics of modulational instability
(MI) in a system of Bragg gratings with saturable nonlinearity. We also
introduce an equal amount of gain and loss into the existing system which gives
rise to an additional degree of freedom, thanks to the concept of -
symmetry. We obtain the nonlinear dispersion relation of the saturable model
and discover that such dispersion relations for both the conventional and - symmetric cases contradict with the conventional Kerr and saturable
systems by not displaying the typical signature of loop formation in either the
upper branch or lower branch of the curve drawn against the wavenumber and
detuning parameter. We then employ a standard linear stability analysis in
order to study the MI dynamics of the continuous waves perturbed by an
infinitesimal perturbation. The main objective of this paper is twofold. We
first investigate the dynamics of the MI gain spectrum at the top and bottom of
the photonic bandgap followed by a comprehensive analysis carried out in the
anomalous and normal dispersion regimes. As a result, this perturbed system
driven by the saturable nonlinearity and gain/loss yields a variety of
instability spectra, which include the conventional side bands, monotonically
increasing gain, the emergence of a single spectrum in either of the Stokes
wavenumber region, and so on. In particular, we observe a remarkably peculiar
spectrum, which is caused predominantly by the system parameter though the
perturbation wavenumber boosts the former. We also address the impact of all
the physical parameters considered in the proposed model which include coupling
coefficient, dispersion parameter, and saturable nonlinearity on the phenomenon
of MI for different - symmetric regimes ranging from unbroken to
broken one in greater detail.Comment: To appear in Phys. Rev.
