    SU(2) Skyrme Vortices

    Get PDF
A regular method for constructing vortex-like solutions with cylindrical symmetry to the equations of the SU(2) Skyrme chiral model is proposed. A numerical estimate for the length density of mass is given

    Electromagnetic levitation system

Magnetism is a physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, resulting in attractive and repulsive forces between objects. It is widely adopted in many spheres of our routine life. By using the effect of magnetism, it has become possible to create non-frictional bearings, contact-free shock absorbers and many things, which found their appliance in industrial usage. There are many great inventions connected with magnets, such as the train on the air cushion (Maglev train). Maglev stands for magnetic levitation, a principle that allows keeping an object in midair. This technology has a great potential, however there are always things, which need to be improved, for instance reduction of disturbance and lowering of the price

The pipeline oil pumping engineering based on the Plant Wide Control technology

    Get PDF
This article provides recommendations for the use technology Plant Wide Control to control the pumping of oil through the pipeline. The proposed engineering using pipeline management in general (Pipe Wide Control) will reduce the loss of electric power at the expense of the balance of pumping stations located along the pipeline route

Exact Self-consistent Particle-like Solutions to the Equations of Nonlinear Scalar Electrodynamics in General Relativity

    Get PDF
Exact self-consistent particle-like solutions with spherical and/or cylindrical symmetry to the equations governing the interacting system of scalar, electromagnetic and gravitational fields have been obtained. As a particular case it is shown that the equations of motion admit a special kind of solutions with sharp boundary known as droplets. For these solutions, the physical fields vanish and the space-time is flat outside of the critical sphere or cylinder. Therefore, the mass and the electric charge of these configurations are zero.Comment: 17 pages, Submitted to the International Journal of Theoretical Physic

Simultaneous Fluorination and Oxidation of Iridium by Metal Tetrafluorobromates

    Get PDF
AbstractIridium is one of the most important platinum group metals and is used in several alloys and in the automotive industry for the purposes of making catalysts. Therefore, its recycling is a very actual challenge for researchers working in the field of urban mining. Reactions of various tetrafluorobromates MBrF4 (M = K, Rb, Cs) and M’(BrF4)2 (M’ = Ba) with Ir metal have been investigated. Compositions of the obtained products have been determined, corresponding reaction schemes have been suggested, and proper conditions for the reactions have been established

Dynamical Toroidal Hopfions in a Ferromagnet with Easy-Axis Anisotropy

Three-dimensional toroidal precession solitons with a nonzero Hopf index, which uniformly move along the anisotropy axis in a uniaxial ferromagnet, have been found. The structure and existence region of the solitons have been numerically determined by solving the Landau-Lifshitz equation.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figure
