Self-Adjointness of Generalized MIC-Kepler System
We have studied the self-adjointness of generalized MIC-Kepler Hamiltonian,
obtained from the formally self-adjoint generalized MIC-Kepler Hamiltonian. We
have shown that for \tilde l=0, the system admits a 1-parameter family of
self-adjoint extensions and for \tilde l \neq 0 but \tilde l <{1/2}, it has
also a 1-parameter family of self-adjoint extensions.Comment: 11 pages, Latex, no figur
Ultrabroad-bandwidth multifrequency Raman generation
We report on the modeling of transient stimulated rotational Raman scattering in H2 gas. We predict a multifrequency output, spanning a bandwidth greater than the pump frequency, that may be generated without any significant delay with respect to the pump pulses. The roles of dispersion and transiency are quantified
Seguridad y protecciΓ³n social en el contexto de la integraciΓ³n europea en Ucrania
The processes of modern integration of Ukraine with Europe are closely connected with changes not only in the system of national legislation in terms of its adaptation to the principles and norms of international and European law, but also with a radical revision of the basics of legal support in public life. One of the most important spheres of public life is the social sphere, which is closely related to issues of social security and social protection of citizens. From this point of view, Ukraineβs approach to European living standards directly implies the improvement of the system of state management of social protection of citizens. The aim of the article is to analyze the impact of European integration processes on the social protection system in Ukraine, study the current state of social security and protection in Ukraine, identify the main problems of social policy in the country, suggest ways to solve our problems. The purpose and objectives of this article, together with its object and subject matter, predetermined the research methodology used, which includes documentary review and critical analysis. The significance of the obtained results is the theoretical basis they form for further analysis of the socio-political situation in Ukraine and forecasting the prospects of modern social development. LEGAL AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF INFORMAL LABOUR FORMALISATION: PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES
Informal labour has become one of the main ways of earning income and a reason for non-payment of taxes to the state budget. Governments and international organisations are making many efforts to study the phenomenon of informal labour and formulate proposals for further formalisation of informal labour to Β«come out of the shadowsΒ» of activities in various fields. The relevance of our study is due to the rapid spread of informal employment and informal labour in various spheres of society, which entails economic losses for each state and a lack of faith in the declared labour relations. The purpose of the study is to identify possible ways and prospects for formalising informal labour, to determine the legal aspects of formalising informal labour, to analyse the challenges to the social protection of workers in the course of such formalisation, and to improve the current labour legislation. The author formulated legal conclusions on the legal aspects of formalisation of informal labour, the ways of such formalisation and its prospects. In particular, conclusions on social challenges for all participants in the so-called informal labour relations were provided. Finally, proposals for improving the legislation on informal employment were formulated
Stimulated emission and lasing in Cu(In,Ga)Se2 thin films
Stimulated emission and lasing in Cu(In,Ga)Se 2 thin films have been demonstrated at a temperature of 20 K using excitation by a nanosecond pulsed N 2 laser with power densities in the range from 2 to 100 kW cm β 2 . Sharp narrowing of the photoluminescence band, superlinear dependence of its intensity on excitation laser power, as well as stabilization of the spectral position and of the full-width at half-maximum of the band were observed in the films at increasing excitation intensity. The stimulated emission threshold was determined to be 20 kW cm β 2 . A gain value of 94 cm β 1 has been estimated using the variable stripe length method. Several sharp laser modes near 1.13 eV were observed above the laser threshold of I thr ~ 50 kW cm β

The task of speech defects detection contains the tasks of segmentation of the speech signal, phoneme classification, as well as comparing the possibly impaired speech with a properly spoken reference signal. Comparisons should be made both for the signal as a whole (detection of missed phonemes) and for each phoneme separately (detection of defective phonemes). The segmentation algorithm used in information technology is based on the assertion that, at interphonemic transitions, the signal undergoes significant changes on many scales at once and is characterized by an increase in wavelet detailing coefficients, while in stationary areas the wavelet coefficients are grouped near certain scales. Phoneme wise presentation of the signal makes it possible to identify defects related to the incorrect pronunciation of the phoneme present in the word - the case where the total number of phonemes in the word remains unchanged. It is also possible to detect complete loss of the phoneme or the appearance of extra phonemes. To map phonemes to references, we use a dynamic timeline transformation algorithm, the vector of parameters of whichΒ is the Euclidean distance between the Fourier decomposition bands. In order to determine the degree of proximity of the input to the reference, an additional limitation is proposed, according to which the distance from the input signal to the reference signal should be significantly different from the distances for other files. As a response threshold, 1/3 of the variance of distances between files was used. When the number of phonemes in a word does not match the reference, each phoneme of the reference is mapped to an input file, so that one of the input phonemes is matched, without violating the order of phonemes. If more than one non-identified section in a row is detected during segmentation, the sections are combined and compared to the base of the reference phonemes as one phoneme. If the base of the reference phonemes does not match the nearest result to the adjacent left or right phonemes, the segment of the speech is marked as defective. The described algorithms are implemented as part of information technology for assisting in the formulation of the pronunciation by providing the ability to independently assess the quality of the pronunciation
Study of porous monolithic sio2 prepeared by sol-gel method
For applications as catalyst supports in flow reactors, porous silica monoliths require a combination of connected pores of micron-scale and nm-scale pores. We have synthesised a range porous silica monoliths, characterised their nm-scale pores and measured their permeability coefficients k. It can be controlled by adjustment of the polymer/silane concentration ratio, whilst maintaining the specific surface area and nm-scale porosity approximately constant
