    Proof of Bose-Einstein Condensation for Interacting Gases with a One-Particle Spectral Gap

    Using a specially tuned mean-field Bose gas as a reference system, we establish a positive lower bound on the condensate density for continuous Bose systems with superstable two-body interactions and a finite gap in the one-particle excitations spectrum, i.e. we prove for the first time standard homogeneous Bose-Einstein condensation for such interacting systems

    Corporoplasty is urological correction surgery for penile deviation that causes copulatory dysfunction or aesthetic discomfort. Penile deviation can be congenital or acquired (Peyronie’s disease, penile fracture). Congenital penile deviation is relatively rare and manifests in the curvature of erect penis ventrally and/or laterally, in most cases. According to many studies, patients with curvatures of 30Β° or more eventually seek surgical treatment. Congenital curvature may be mistaken for Peyronie’s disease for similar manifestations that, however, differ in aetiology and pathophysiology. Excisional, incisional corporoplasty or plication are commonly engaged to treat congenital curvatures, in various techniques and modifications. Augmentation transplantation (grafting) and penile prosthesis implantation with variant deviation treatment options are the usual practice in Peyronie’s disease. Unequivocal judgment of pros and cons in any particular technique is nevertheless implausible to make.     Introduction. Urolithiasis is one of wide-spread in the urological diseases distribution and considered socially significant one. In various regions of Russia, Republic of Bashkortostan is one of them, the endemicity of this pathology is revealed and statistically proved. The formation of stones in the urinary system is caused by a number of social and genetic factors. Nowadays, there are many methods of treatment of urolithiasis. According to the National recommendations and Guidelines of the European Association of urology, the choice of operational intervention method depends on the size of the concrement and the form of nephrolithiasis. Despite the low invasiveness of surgical treatment, 10-15% end up in sequela. Taking into account the mentioned above it is important to analyze efficacy and safety of nephrolithotripsy through one’s own experience. Aim: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of nephrolithotripsy in various forms of nephrolithiasis. Materials and methods. The study group included 365 patients who underwent percutaneous nephrolithotripsy in the clinic of the Bashkir state medical University. In the preoperative period, patients were examined according to the standard scheme, according to the results (localization, size of concrements), The most suitable access for percutaneous nephrolithotripsy was selected. The efficacy of the surgical treatment was evidenced by the complete removal of concrements or calculi up to 4 mm. Clavien-dindo classification served as a scale of evaluation of postoperative complications. Results. By the gender type-men 175(47.9%), women 190 (52.2%). The age of patients was from 22 to 83 years. The average size of the calculus was 2.4 cm (0.8 – 7.8 cm). The average operation time was 83 min (23-258 min). The average bed day was 5.6. According to the classification of Clavien-dindo complications of 1 degree were observed in 123 (33.7%) of patients, 2 degree in 2 (0,5 %) patients, 3a degree 1 (0.3%) and 4b degree was observed in 1 (0,3%) patient, there were no complications of 5 degree. Summary. Percutaneous nephrolithotomy has come out as one of the highly effective and safe methods of treatment of nephrolithiasis.Π’Π²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅.     Introduction. Our first experience in embolization of prostatic arteries at patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia had comprised patients with the symptoms of chronic urinary retention.Material and methods. The average age of patients (n=3) was 61.0Β±4 years. Among medical indications to embolization there were dysuria significantly degrading the patients’ life quality and their unwillingness to proceed to transurethral resection. Before the embolization of the prostatic artery, it is necessary to identify the place of its departure and its anastomosis by computed tomography. Successful operation was effectuated without microcatheter guides in 3 cases and with the application of microcatheter guides in 3 cases. For the purposes of embolization there were used spherical embolus HydroPearl sized 400 nm. No complications were reported neither in the operational nor in the post-operational periods.Results. All patients admitted a decrease in dysuria as well as the improvement in life quality already in 7–15 days after the endovascular invasion. Control ultrasound dopplerography was performed 3 months after intervention. Two patients with embolization showed decrease of prostate volume by 26%, and one patient β€” by 35%.Conclusions. Embolization of the prostatic arteries is a promising low-traumatic and safe method for treating patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.     261,435,768 COVID-19 infections were detected worldwide, of them 5,207,634 deaths were registered. Identifying markers of the patient severity early in the course of the disease can facilitate the assessment of the risk of adverse outcome.The objective: To compare values of laboratory parameters and their changes during treatment of patients with a complicated course of COVID-19 infection.Subjects and Methods. 56 patients were included in the study, all of them were hospitalized to COVID Hospital of the Clinic of Bashkir State Medical University, Russian Ministry of Health, from September 30, 2021 to November 15, 2021, and their complicated course of the disease necessitated transfer to the intensive care unit (ICU). The laboratory evaluation included the following: a general blood and urine counts, blood chemistry including urea and creatinine, liver transaminases, and blood coagulogram (prothrombin time (PTT), prothrombin index (PTI), thrombin time, fibrinogen, and blood clotting time).Results. In the group of patients with a fatal outcome on the day of transfer to ICU, lymphocytopenia, eosinopenia, elevated values of creatinine, total bilirubin, transaminases, C-reactive protein, D-dimer, and ferritin were noted. Also on this day, microscopic hematuria, proteinuria and cylindruria were detected in the urine tests of most patients in this group during treatment.Conclusion. Critical deviations in the results of hematological and biochemical tests were revealed.     BACKGROUND: Thlaspi caerulescens is a natural selected heavy metal hyperaccumulator that can not only tolerate but also accumulate extremely high levels of heavy metals in the shoots. Thus, to identify the transportors involved in metal long-distance transportation is very important for understanding the mechanism of heavy metal accumulation in this hyperaccumulator. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS: We cloned and characterized a novel gene TcOPT3 of OPT family from T. caerulescens. TcOPT3 was pronouncedly expressed in aerial parts, including stem and leaf. Moreover, in situ hybridization analyses showed that TcOPT3 expressed in the plant vascular systems, especially in the pericycle cells that may be involved in the long-distance transportation. The expression of TcOPT3 was highly induced by iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn) deficiency, especially in the stem and leaf. Sub-cellular localization showed that TcOPT3 was a plasma membrane-localized protein. Furthermore, heterogonous expression of TcOPT3 by mutant yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) complementation experiments demonstrated that TcOPT3 could transport Fe(2+) and Zn(2+). Moreover, expression of TcOPT3 in yeast increased metal (Fe, Zn, Cu and Cd) accumulation and resulted in an increased sensitivity to cadmium (Cd) and copper (Cu). CONCLUSIONS: Our data demonstrated that TcOPT3 might encode an Fe/Zn/Cd/Cu influx transporter with broad-substrate. This is the first report showing that TcOPT3 may be involved in metal long-distance transportation and contribute to the heavy metal hyperaccumulation
