    Get PDF
The development of the fashion world experienced a significant increase in the last few decades. Indonesia has a huge opportunity in the Muslim fashion sector when compared to other countries, because the majority of the population is Muslim. The Indonesian government realizes that even Indonesia is proclaimed to be a benchmark for world Muslim fashion in 2020. This is very possible considering the Muslim fashion industry in Indonesia has experienced growth since the 1990s based on data from the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). One of the biggest brands in Indonesia is HijUp. This aims to analyze the effect of brand images and online promotion strategy on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The analysis technique used is quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 100 HijUp respondents, using the Maximum Likehood (ML) estimation method. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with LISREL 8.72 measuring instrument. The results of this study indicate the positive influence of brand image on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Furthermore, there is a positive influence of online promotion strategies on customer satisfaction, but there is a negative influence on customer loyalty. Furthermore, there is a positive influence between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.     Keywords: Brand Image, Online Promotion Strategy, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty, Fashion Musli

Temperature influence on total volatile compounds (TVOCs) inside the car cabin of visible light transmittance

    Get PDF
In the automotive industry indoor air quality or Vehicle Indoor Air Quality (VIAQ) are caused by various substances emitted from interior materials inside a vehicle. The volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are an example of emitted substances from the interior materials which is harmful to the human body. As stated by previous researches, there is a strong correlation between the total VOCs emission and interior temperature. This occurs due to the solar radiation through the back window glasses, windscreen and side window glasses. This trapped heat can accelerate the melting process of trim materials such as hard plastic and rubber, thus causing the emission of total VOCs (TVOCs). Therefore, reducing the percentage of visible light transmittance (VLT) will help to reduce radiation process. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of VLT level on TVOCs emission in the vehicle cabin under static condition (parked and unventilated) and operating condition (driving and air-conditioned). For static condition the result shows that the TVOCs concentration linearly decreases whenever the percentage of VLT level decreases. However, for operating condition the percentage of VLT have less significance after 50 minutes driving time. In conclusion, the VLT levels have a strong relationship to the TVOCs concentration despite after a long driving time

Interoperability and Reliability of Multiplatform MPLS VPN: Comparison of Traffic Engineering with RSVP-TE Protocol and LDP Protocol

One of the alternatives to overcome network scalability problem and maintaining reliability is using MPLS VPN network. In reallity, the current network is already using a multiplatform of several different hardware vendors, i.e., Cisco and Juniper platforms. This paper discusses the comparison of the simulation results to see interoperability of multiplatform MPLS VPN andreliability through traffic engineering using RSVP-TE and LDP protocols. Both the RSVP and LDP protocols are tested on a stable network and in a recovery mode,as well as non-load conditions and with additional traffic load. The recovery mode is the condition after the failover due to termination of one of the links in the network. The no-load condition means that the network is not filled with additional traffic. There is only traffic from the measurement activity itself. While network conditions with an additional load are conditions where there is an additional UDP packet traffic load of 4.5 Mbps in addition to the measurement load itself. On a stable network and without additional traffic load, the average delay on LDP protocol is 59.41 ms, 2.06 ms jitter, 0.08% packetloss, and 8.99 Mbps throughput. Meanwhile, on RSVP protocol, the average delay is 52.40 ms, 2.39 ms jitter, 12.18% packet loss, and 7.80 Mbps throughput. When failover occurs and on recovery mode, LDP protocol is48% of packet loss per 100 sent packets while on RSVP packet loss percentage is 35.5% per 100 sent packets. Both protocols have interoperability on the third layer of multiplatform MPLS VPN, but on heavy loaded traffic condition, RSVP protocol has better reliability than the LDP protocol

Objective: To describe the long-term outcomes of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and to study clinicopathological features at presentation, morphological subtypesand remission rates. Methods: Demographic information, response to therapy and survival of patients (\u3e14 years of age) admitted between January 1988 to August 1996 with acute myeloid leukaemia was retrieved and analysed. Results: Seventy-four patients were admitted with a diagnosis of AML during the study period. There were 43 males and 31 females. Age ranged between 15 and 70 years with a mean age of 38 years. The most common presenting feature was fever (67.5%) and the morphological subtype according to French-American-British Group (FAB) criteria was M4. Fifty-five patients received treatment and were evaluable for response and outcomes. Thirty-six (65.4%) patients had complete remission. Sixteen (29.1%) died during the first 28 days after starting induction chemotherapy. The median survival was 11 months. Six (11%) patients (4 females, 2 males) are surviving beyond 4 years (long-term survivors). Conclusion: Our study suggests that the long-term outcomes of adults with AML are comparable to what has been reported in the literature for patients who do not receive bone marrow transplants (JPMA 52:482;2002)

Poetry usually contains the expression of feeling and criticism poet of social life and society in a certain era. Every word in the poem implies that the author\u27s expression so that the meaning contained in the poem needs to be analyzed to determine the content of the poem. Furthermore in choosing the choice of words (diction) must be precise so that the meaning and the imagine was pointed. In poetry usually tucked the message author to the reader (moral message). One method that can be used in analyzing poetry is to use the symbol analysis, heuristic, and hermeneutic. Symbol analysis is divided into three, namely blank symbol, natural symbol, and private symbol. Blank symbol is a word that expresses certain symbol whose meaning is universal reference so that reader had no trouble interpreting. Natural symbol are words that reveal the reality of nature as a symbol of life projections. Private symbol are words that reveal the symbol specially created and used the poet to express uniqueness. Heuristic is based on the reading of linguistic or semiotic structure is based on the first level convention semiotic system (naturalized poetic language into ordinary language). Meanwhile, hermeneutic means reading poetry at the second level of language (the meaning of the poetry uses literary). The poetry that will be analyzed is haiku (Japanese poem with seventeen syllable with a 5-7-5 pattern) in the Japanese Art and Poetry book. Selected poetry is poetry with the theme of winter. While the result is there are seven blank symbol, seven natural symbol, and two private symbol. Meanwhile, heuristic and hermeneutic majority describe sadness, loneliness, and suffering the author at the time of this haiku made (Edo era)

6-(4-Chlorophenyl)-spiro[cyclohexane-1,2-thieno[3,2-d][1,3]oxazin]-4(1H)-one (1) was synthesized and used as a starting material for the synthesis of a novel series of spiro compounds having biologically active sulfonamide (2a-e) and 3-(4-acetylphenyl)-6-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,2-thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine-4(3H)-one (3). Compound 2a was used as a key intermediate for the synthesis of sulfonyl carbothioamide derivatives (4a-c). Also, compound 3 was used as an intermediate for the synthesis of 3H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,2-thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin]-3-yl]phenyl}-2-imino-4-(substituted phenyl and/or thienyl)-1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carbonitrile derivatives (5a-e), 3H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,2-thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin]-3-yl]phenyl}-2-oxo-4-(substituted phenyl and/or thienyl)-1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carbonitrile derivatives (6a-e), and 4-[(2Z)-3-substituted-arylprop-2-enoyl]phenyl-1H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,2-thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine derivatives (7a-e). Cyclocondensation of 7a-e with hydrazine hydrate produced 6-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-[4-(5-substituted aryl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)phenyl]-1H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,2-thieno-[3,2-d]pyrimidin]-4(3H)-ones (8a-e), but with hydroxylamine hydrochloride afforded the corresponding isoxazoline derivatives (9a-e). Also, cyclocondensation by thiourea afforded 2-thioxo-1,2-dihydropyrimidin-4-yl)-phenyl-spiro-{cyclohexanethieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin}-4-one derivatives (10a-e). The new compounds were investigated for antimicrobial activity. Compounds 2c, 8b, c, 9b and 10b were the most potent ones against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Compound 8c exhibited higher antifungal activity towards the examined fungi with MIC of 1–2 µmol mL–1 compared to ketoconazole (MIC 2–3 µmol mL–1)
