Secara statistik, Perubahan signifikan terjadi pada pengetahuan, perilaku, dan keefektifan pengelolaan keuangan terhadap mahasiswa, sebelum dan sesudah berpartisipasi dalam mata kuliah perencanaan keuangan. Penelitian ini juga menelusuri lebih jauh produk-produk keuangan yang dimilikimahasiswa atas nama pribadi, Perubahan kebiasaan mempergunakan uang dan Perubahan kebiasaan menabung, serta aktivitas perencanaan keuangan yang paling penting dilakukan setelah mengikuti mata kuliah perencanaan keuangan.Kata

Pengaruh Brand Awareness, Brand Association Dan Advertising Effectiveness Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Produk Smartphone Samsung (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa S1 Universitas Diponegoro)

In the globalization era, smartphones industries are the most developed industry in Indonesia. This situation create business competition are increasingly competitive. One of the signs of market competitiveness can be seen in the last few years on how there's declining on market share and selling volume of Samsung Smartphone products in Indonesia. While the purpose of this research is to explain and elaborate the power of brand awareness, brand association and advertising effectiveness in influencing University of Diponegoro students decision to buy Samsung Smartphone products.The result of this research demonstrates that the variable of brand awareness have significant and positive impact toward purchasing decisions; the variable of brand association have significant and positive impact toward purchasing decisions and the variable of advertising effectiveness have significant and positive impact toward purchasing decisions.The conclusion from this research is that samsung's smartphone products are perceived well in all the three variables (brand awareness, brand association and advertising effectiveness). While suggestion that can be presented from this research is it's necessary for Samsung to build brand awareness and a better brand association if they want to mantain and gain their product sale in order to improve the company's image, thus making it easier for consumers in making purchasing decisions

The assessments of well-known Russian sociologists and philosophers (P. A. Sorokin, P. B. Struve, M. O. Menshikov) of one of the important features of the historical formation and existence of the Russian administrative elite – its national diversity have been analysed. The main characteristics and alternative estimates given by thinkers to this social phenomenon have been revealed. It has been shown that the main object of their attention is the question of whether the multinational elite is able to provide a qualitative level of management? Model Pengukuran Tingkat Motivasi Dan Demotivasi Pekerja Proyek Konstruksi Di Surabaya

Hal yang dapat mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya performa seorang pekerja proyek konstruksi adalah faktor motivasi dan demotivasi kerja. Dengan motivasi yang tinggi dapat memaksimalkan performa USAha kerja, sedangkan dengan demotivasi yang tinggi dapat menurunkan performa USAha kerja. Motivasi dan demotivasi dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, sehingga menyebabkan tidak adanya suatu standar yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur dan membandingkan tingkat motivasi antara proyek konstruksi yang satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk model pengukuran tingkat motivasi dan demotivasi pekerja proyek kontruksi di Surabaya dengan menentukan nilai bobot untuk untuk masing-masing faktor dan sub faktornya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 120 pekerja dari tiga proyek konstruksi di Surabaya. Faktor motivasi yang memiliki bobot tertinggi adalah faktor pendapatan kerja yang memadai, sedangkan faktor demotivasi yang memiliki bobot tertinggi adalah faktor pendapatan kerja yang kurang memadai. Berdasarkan bobot masing-masing faktor dan sub faktor, dibentuk sebuah model pengukuran tingkat motivasi dan demotivasi pekerja proyek konstruksi di Surabaya. Fluorine distribution during thermal treatment of sulfuric acid leaching products of complex beryllium raw materials at JSC UMP

X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry and mass spectrometry were employed to study the behavior and distribution of fluorine in sulfuric acid treatment of the melt of beryl-bertrandite-phenakite-fluorite concentrates with alkali fluxes. It was established that fluorine in a solid phase is predominantly present in the form of sodium and calcium fluorosilicates and in a gaseous phase it is evolved in the form of silicon tetrafluoride and fluorosulfonic acid

Theoretical Aspect of Studying the Literary Utopias and Dystopias of the First Decades of the 20th Century (on the Genre Identification Problem)

Поскольку утопия и антиутопия существуют далеко за пределами художественной литературы, к анализу произведения предлагается подходить как к частному случаю проявления универсальной модели утопического / антиутопического сознания. В первую очередь, в рассматриваемых текстах следует выявлять их элементы с опорой исследования по социальной философии — структура утопического сознания обобщенно представлена в статье, а структура антиутопического — выводится автором статьи по аналогии. Если в произведении наблюдаются признаки утопического или антиутопического сознания, то следующим этапом работы с текстом призвано стать сопоставление его жанровых признаков с устоявшимся жанровым инвариантом, выработанным литературоведами — соответствующие условно универсальные жанровые модели утопии и антиутопии также представлены в статье. Так ой подход позволяет, во-первых, обоснованно отнести произведение к (анти)утопиям при наличии признаков (анти)утопического сознания, во-вторых, расширить корпус текстов, которые можно считать утопиями или антиутопиями, и наконец — зафиксировать индивидуальные жанровые признаки и соотнести их с инвариантом. Предлагаемый метод является особенно продуктивным при изучении периода формирования жанра литературной антиутопии, т. е. первых десятилетий ХХ в., когда в национальных литературах разброс жанровых признаков очень велик, и помогает в полной мере проследить формирование национального инварианта жанра и выявить его национальную специфику. В то же время разрушенный к ХХ в. жанр «классической утопии» постепенно перерождается и значительно модифицируется под влиянием романной формы, поэтому идентификация и анализ литературной утопии становятся затруднительными — в этой ситуации рассмотренное совмещение философского и литературоведческого методов также представляется эффективным.This article examines the theoretical problems of studying literary utopias and dystopias. Since utopia and dystopia exist far beyond fiction, it is proposed to approach the analysis of a literary work as a particular case of the manifestation of a universal model of utopian/dystopian consciousness. First, in the texts under consideration, their elements should be identified with the support of research in social philosophy — the structure of utopian consciousness is outlined in the article, and the structure of dystopian consciousness is derived by the author of the article by analogy. If a work shows signs of utopian or dystopian consciousness, the next step in working with the text is to compare its genre features with the established genre invariant developed by literary critics. The article also presents the corresponding conditionally universal genre models of utopia and dystopia. This approach allows, firstly, to reasonably attribute the work to utopias and dystopias in the presence of signs of utopian or dystopian consciousness, secondly, to expand the body of texts that can be considered utopias or dystopias, and, finally, to fix individual genre features and correlate them with the corresponding invariant. During the formation of the genre of literary dystopia, i.e. in the first decades of the twentieth century, when the diversity of genre features in national literatures was extensive, this algorithm helps to fully trace the formation of the national invariant of the genre and establish its national specifics. At the same time, destroyed by the twentieth century, the genre of “classical utopia” is reborn and significantly modified under the influence of the novel form, so the identification of literary utopia becomes difficult — in this situation, the combination of philosophical and literary methods considered in the article also seems productive

Statins interfere with the attachment of S. cerevisiae mtDNA to the inner mitochondrial membrane

The 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA reductase, a key enzyme of the mevalonate pathway for the synthesis of cholesterol in mammals (ergosterol in fungi), is inhibited by statins, a class of cholesterol lowering drugs. Indeed, statins are in a wide medical use, yet statins treatment could induce side effects as hepatotoxicity and myopathy in patients. We used Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model to investigate the effects of statins on mitochondria. We demonstrate that statins are active in S.cerevisiae by lowering the ergosterol content in cells and interfering with the attachment of mitochondrial DNA to the inner mitochondrial membrane. Experiments on murine myoblasts confirmed these results in mammals. We propose that the instability of mitochondrial DNA is an early indirect target of statins
