Formation of fatty acids in photochemical conversions of saturated hydrocarbons
Abiogenic synthesis of fatty acids was studied in photochemical conversions of saturated hydrocarbons. It was shown that, in a hydrocarbon water CaCO3 suspension, the action of 254 nm UV rays caused the formation of fatty acids with a maximum number of carbon atoms in the chain not exceeding that in the initial hydrocarbon. Synthesis of acetic, propionic, butyric, valeric, caproic, enanthic and caprylic (in the case of octane) acids occurs in heptane water CaCO3 and octane water CaCO3 systems
EFFICACY OF IMMUNOMODULATORS AND ANTIOXIDANTS IN THE CORRECTION OF IMPAIRED IMMUNE STATUS PARAMETERS IN PATIENTS WITH ADENOMYOSIS
The aim of the study was to study the effectiveness of the use of immunomodulators and antioxidants in the correction of immune status parameters in patients with adenomyosis. 70 patients were examined, including 57 women (the main group), who were diagnosed with adenomyosis according to the results of a comprehensive clinical, ultrasound and hysteroscopic examination. The control group consisted of 23 gynecologically healthy women. After verification of the diagnosis, all patients with hypertension received standard treatment (SL) (clinical recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation from 2016). Among the female patients, 19 women received only SL (1st subgroup). 38 exhaust gases examined, in addition to SL, received various combinations of antioxidant, immunomodulator, and membrane protector and were divided into two subgroups. The second subgroup included 20 patients in addition to the SL receiving sodium ribonucleate; Hypoxene and phospholipids. The third subgroup included 18 patients who additionally received Inosine + Nicotinamide + Riboflavin + Succinic acid; Meglumine acridone acetate, and glycyrrhizic acid + phospholipids. The analysis of the cytokine status and the compliment system was performed at the time of admission and by the 15th day of observation. Detected changes of the cytokine status, complement system activation, increased oxygen-dependent activity of neutrophils in the peripheral blood (increased production of active oxygen forms as a result of respiratory burst) confirm the presence of immune inflammation on the systemic level. Insufficient clinical-laboratory efficacy of ST in the correction of immune changes has justified the use of drugs with immunomodulating, antioxidant, and membrane protective properties in the pharmacological therapy of adenomyosis, which have been successfully used in the treatment of other diseases with similar disorders.Optimal combinations of immunomodulators and antioxidants in the correction of the immune status of patients with adenomyosis were revealed. The study performed demonstrates the efficacy of correcting immune status parameters in patients with adenomyosis when the standard treatment is combined with antioxidant and immunomodulating agents
The Role of Evaluative Tools in the Creation of the Memorial Media Portrait of Jacques Chirac (1932β2019)
The article is devoted to the study of evaluative tools used in modern French media in order to form the media image of a representative of the political elite. The techniques used in the creation of a memorial media portrait of Jacques Chirac (1932β2019), President of France from 1995 to 2007 are considered. The research material was the most prestigious French print media of various political orientations, published in late September β early October 2019 in connection with the death of the ex-President of the French Republic. The relevance of the research topic is dictated by the close attention of modern linguistics to axiological phenomena, differently presented in different types of discursive practices. The novelty of the study is due to the appeal to the analysis of the complex of evaluation tools used in the French print media when characterizing the former leader of the state during the nationβs farewell period. The estimated potential of the title of the article and its influence on the formation of the estimated vector of the entire text of the publication are shown. A systematic analysis of the assessment expression means, reflected in the memorial media portrait of the politician, is given. The factors that influenced the peculiarities of their use in this type of media portrait are revealed

Synthesis of a novel planar-chiral nido-carborane amino acid
The deboronation of enantiomers of planar-chiral benzyl (3-formamido-1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaboran-1-yl)acetate gave the individual (RP)- and (SP)-enantiomers (ee > 98%) of a new amino acid containing a nido-carborane fragment, (3-ammonio-7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaboran-7-yl)acetic acid. Infrared study of lattice and magnetic dynamics in a spin-chain compound Gd2 BaNiO5
We present infrared spectra of Gd2 BaNiO5, which is isostructural to a prototype S=1 Haldane compound Y2 BaNiO 5 containing Ni2β+ chains, in the spectral range 2 meV-0.55 eV. Unlike Y2 BaNiO5, the studied compound contains magnetic rare-earth sublattices and orders antiferromagnetically at TN =58 K. Detailed information on optical phonons is given. Temperature dependences of frequencies and half widths for the two lowest-frequency phonons polarized along the Ni-chain direction evidence the interaction of these lattice vibrations with magnetic excitations. With the help of lattice-dynamics calculations, we find relative displacement vectors of ions for all the phonon modes and use them to discuss the mechanism of phonon-magnon interaction. The optical spectra exhibit a broad absorption continuum for radiation polarized along the chains, probably of magnetic origin, gradually decreasing with lowering temperature. A new mode at about 30 cmβ-1 polarized along the chains (a axis) emerges below βΌ150 K. A midinfrared absorption peak at 1306 cmβ-1 (0.16 eV) is observed and found to sharpen and shift significantly at TN. We argue that it can be attributed to a phonon-assisted magnetic absorption and discuss its nature in the framework of the Lorenzana-Sawatzky-Eder model. Β© 2010 The American Physical Society

Transformation of 6-tetrahydrobiopterin in aqueous solutions under UV-irradiation
Β© 2017 Elsevier B.V. Melanogenesis disturbance leads to several pathologies, including vitiligo disease. Ultraviolet (UV) narrowband phototherapy (308 or 311nm) is used in treating vitiligo; however, the mechanism of phototherapy is not yet understood. Vitiligo is accompanied by three-fivefold increased de-novo synthesis of (6R)-l-erythro-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobiopterin (H 4 Bip), its excess and its further oxidation can be considered as significant factors in the pathogenesis of vitiligo. (H 4 Bip), as the phenylalanine 4-hydroxylase coenzyme, catalyzes the oxidation of phenylalanine to tyrosine (a melanin precursor). In this context, photo-transformation of H 4 Bip in aqueous buffer solutions has been studied. HPLC-MS/MS has demonstrated that pterin products of H 4 Bip autoxidation (7,8-dihydropterin (H 2 Ptr), dihydroxanthopterin and pterin) predominate over biopterin products (7,8-dihydrobiopterin (H 2 Bip) and biopterin). We have shown that UV irradiation accelerates the autoxidation while the products of oxidative degradation of H 4 Bip act as photosensitizers. The distinctive feature of photooxidation of H 4 Bip from autoxidation is the formation of dihydropterin (N 2 Ptr) 2 and dihydrobiopterin (N 2 Bip) 2 dimers. By means of HPLC-MS/MS it was found that formation of dihydropterin dimers is the predominant process. The signal of molecular ion of the dimer (N 2 Ptr) 2 (m/z =331) was almost a thousand times higher than the signal of (N 2 Bip) 2 (m/z =479). The key point of the dimerization is photoexcitation (at 310-320nm) of the intermolecular complex (qH 2 Ptr-N 2 Ptr) generated in dark. As a result of the photoreaction azacyclobutane dimers have been formed. In the case of alternation of dark and light intervals H 4 Bip converted into dimers with 96 % yield. The data obtained are discussed in the context of UV-B narrowband vitiligo phototherapy
Recovery of motor function of the hand of stroke patients using the "Hand tutor"
Devices with biologically feedback (biofeedback) are widely used in the rehabilitation of patients after stroke. The patient after a stroke in the carotid arteries loses two-handed operation, which is associated with the manipulation of objects and the many social and professional functions. An important factor in rehabilitation is to restore the function of the brush, as the most important organ of social and professional activities of the person. The use of biofeedback devices to restore function of the hand is the most expedient and efficient manner. A pilot study showed a positive trend on the basic scales of neurological deficit and scale spasticity on restoration of function of the hand in patients after carotid strokes. The maximum effect was achieved in the group of patients receiving comprehensive rehabilitation program (gymnastics, psammotherapy, therapeutic massage) with using the apparatus of bare 'Hand Tutor*.
