    Приведены результаты исследования свойств прутков, полученных совмещенными методами из сплава 1570 и опытного сплава на основе системы Al–Mg с содержанием скандия 0,10–0,14 %. Проанализирована возможность использования прутков в качестве заготовок для изготовления сварочной проволоки. Определены механические свойства листов основного металла и сварных соединений, выполненных аргонодуговой сваркой с использованием полученной проволоки.The results of a study of the properties of rods obtained by combined methods from alloy 1570 and an experimental alloy based on the Al–Mg system with a scandium content of 0.10–0.14% are presented. The possibility of using rods as billets for manufacturing a welding wire is analyzed.     Analysis of the Epizootiological Situation in the Amur Region in Autumn, 2013 Formed under the Influence of High Water over the Small Mammals

    Objective of the work was to estimate the number and state of the small mammal populations after the summer flood, 2013 in the territory of the Amur Region and make short-term forecasting of the epidemiological situation development. Carried out was small animals capturing using Gero traps with bread as a bait. Epizootiological surveillance in August-September 2013 indicated that the numbers of small mammals did not differ from the average annual rates, but the process of active reproduction in the populations was being underway. In October-November a sharp increase in the animal abundance rate was registered, reproduction process terminated. Large-scale flooding resulted in the formation of local settlements with a high animal density. Stress, aggressiveness and food ration change along with seasonal migration of rodents into human buildings predetermined epizootiological and epidemiological premises for onset of natural-focal infections. Therewith the conclusion was made up that it was necessary to perform epizootiological monitoring of the small mammal populations and realization of measures aimed at the rodent extermination in human settlements in 2014

    Effects of autologous gingiva-derived cells with myogenic potential on regeneration of skeletal muscle

    In our recent studies we found for the first time the ability of human multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) derived from alveolar gingiva (alveolar mucosa) to differentiate into myogenic direction. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of autologous gingiva-derived MSCs with myogenic potential on the regeneration of muscular tissue after mechanical damage. The study was conducted on 11 male rabbits. Biopsy of alveolar gingiva was performed at each animal before experiment for autologous MSCs obtainment. Cultures of MSCs were induced in vitro into myogenic direction. To model the damage, the medial heads of the gastrocnemius muscles were intersected on both pelvic limbs of the rabbit. Injection of autologous MSCs was performed on the seventh day after injury into the damaged muscle of one of the extremities, while equal volume of saline (control) was injected into the muscle of the contralateral limb. The animals were sacrificed on 0, 21, and 35 days after the administration of cells. MSCs transplantation led to significant reduction of the area of muscle damage. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed earlier increase in the proportion of MyoD- and myogenin-positive cells, as well as decrease in the expression of Ki-67 in damaged tissue, in experimental group compared to the control. Autologous cells did not significantly affect the composition of muscle fibers. Significant decrease in the proportion of fibrous tissue was also observed in the experimental group. The results indicate the effectiveness of autologous alveolar gingiva-derived MSCs for treatment of mechanical damage of muscle tissue. Local administration of cells accelerated reparative regeneration and prevented fibrosis

    The Acute Cystitis Symptom Score (ACSS) was originally developed in Uzbek and Russian language as a self-reporting questionnaire for the clinical diagnosis and follow-up of an acute episode of uncomplicated cystitis (AC) in women based on complains and their effect on the quality of life. After professional forward and backward translations the cognitive assessment of the Ukrainian version of the ACSS was performed in female subjects with different ages and educational levels and in medical professionals treating such patients. After considering all comments of the female subjects and the professionals the final version of the Ukrainian ACSS could be obtained to be further used in clinical studies

    Epizootiological-and-Epidemical Situation on Tularemia in the South of Far East Region during the Period of River Floods

    Carried out were epizootiological studies of the flooded areas of the Amur Region, the Khabarovsk territory, and the Jewish autonomous region in order to investigate the situation on tularemia in view of the river floods in August-September, 2013. Involved were specialized anti-epidemic teams from Irkutsk Research Anti-Plague Institute for works at the site of emergency. Therewith, analysis of the data of the epizootiological examination of the territories obtained in cooperation with specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor local Centers of Hygiene and Epidemiology, and results of laboratory investigations with application of bacteriological, immu­no­bio­logical and molecular-genetic methods indicated insignificant epizootic and epidemic activity of the natural tularemia foci. Given is the conclusion on epizootiological-epidemiological condition for tularemia in the flooded areas of the Amur River region and a short-term epizootiological forecast for 2013-2014, as well as recommendations concerning stabilization and improvement of epidemiological conditions in the region

    Текст статьи не публикуется в открытом доступе в соответствии с политикой журнала.Presented are the results of theoretical study of energy-power parameters of combined rolling-andpressing (CRP) process of press-products of AMg6 (АМг6), 01417, 8176 alloys. Choice of these alloys is governed by the fact that their alloyage by different elements like titanium, iron, lanthanum, cerium etc., causes difficulties on non-cutting sha ping and producing long-length semifinished products of electrotechnical destination. It is shown that making such semifinished goods of these alloys is non-manufacturable even with the use of traditional direct pressing operations on horizontal hydraulic presses; it is characterized by increased labour-intensiveness and requires higher power inputs. In this connection, the goal to be sought in this paper is to investigate possibility of processing the above mentioned alloys by method of combined continuous rolling-extrusion (CRE) as well as to determine powe renergy parameters of the process depending on varying temperature of semifinished product, degree and rate of metal deformation. The efforts, affecting the die and the rolls during combined processing has been calculated with the use of rheological characteristics of selected alloys, determined by the hot torsion method; analysis of their changes, depending on deformative and temperature-speed parameters for various combinations of the groove and diameters of the die has been also carried out. Ascertained have been the changing mechanism of energy-power parameters and their limiting value on realizing the process of combined rolling-extrusion at the combined processing plants of different design in the given range of varying parameters. There also has been made the recommendations on designing the technology of low-plastic alloys combined treatment for a CCRE-4 (СЛиПП-4) experimental-industrial plant placed into operation at Irkutsk aluminium smelter
