Development of values of tolerant consciousness and behavior of students in a multicultural educational space

The article addresses the urgent problem of setting the stage for supporting the priority of values of tolerance in the educational space of higher educational institutions. The significance of this activity is associated with the sociocultural realities of Russia as a multicultural and multi-religious country, as well as with the needs of humanization of the educational process in accordance with the need of its reforming on the basis of personality and competency-based approaches. Specific psychological and pedagogical actions which should be taken to get the above mentioned results are set forth within the framework of the proposed methodology, which involves diagnostics of indicators of the existing level of students’ preparedness for tolerant relationships, as well as organization of training sessions making it possible to achieve positive results in the deliberate choice of values of positive tolerance
Integrable Zhaidary equations: reductions and gauge equivalence
The present work addresses the study and characterization of the
integrability of some generalized spin systems (ISS) in 1+1 dimensions. Lax
representations for these ISS are successfully obtained. The gauge equivalent
counterparts of these integrable ISS are presented. Finally, we consider
Zhanbota transcendents and some integrable Zhanbota equations. In particular,
the gauge equivalence between some Zhanbota equations and the six Painleve

Plasmodium NEK1 coordinates MTOC organisation and kinetochore attachment during rapid mitosis in male gamete formation
Mitosis is an important process in the cell cycle required for cells to divide. Never in mitosis (NIMA)-like kinases (NEKs) are regulators of mitotic functions in diverse organisms. Plasmodium spp., the causative agent of malaria is a divergent unicellular haploid eukaryote with some unusual features in terms of its mitotic and nuclear division cycle that presumably facilitate proliferation in varied environments. For example, during the sexual stage of male gametogenesis that occurs within the mosquito host, an atypical rapid closed endomitosis is observed. Three rounds of genome replication from 1N to 8N and successive cycles of multiple spindle formation and chromosome segregation occur within 8 min followed by karyokinesis to generate haploid gametes. Our previous Plasmodium berghei kinome screen identified 4 Nek genes, of which 2, NEK2 and NEK4, are required for meiosis. NEK1 is likely to be essential for mitosis in asexual blood stage schizogony in the vertebrate host, but its function during male gametogenesis is unknown. Here, we study NEK1 location and function, using live cell imaging, ultrastructure expansion microscopy (U-ExM), and electron microscopy, together with conditional gene knockdown and proteomic approaches. We report spatiotemporal NEK1 location in real-time, coordinated with microtubule organising centre (MTOC) dynamics during the unusual mitoses at various stages of the Plasmodium spp. life cycle. Knockdown studies reveal NEK1 to be an essential component of the MTOC in male cell differentiation, associated with rapid mitosis, spindle formation, and kinetochore attachment. These data suggest that P. berghei NEK1 kinase is an important component of MTOC organisation and essential regulator of chromosome segregation during male gamete formation
ИННОВАЦИОННАЯ ТЕХНОЛОГИЯ СЕМЕНОВОДСТВА ОРИГИНАЛЬНЫХ СОРТОВ БАХЧЕВЫХ КУЛЬТУР
A significant disadvantage of one-time seed fruit gatherings used in operations of seed farms is the usage of different-age fruits (unripe, overripe and of optimally mature) for extracting seeds, that respectively have seeds with different sowing features. Carrying out several sequential gatherings that have not yet reached the biological maturity of the seed fruits, and their subsequent storage, makes it possible to avoid these problems. Through the example the Lunnyi watermelon variety, the article presents the results of studying a new method of conducting seed production of polycarpous varieties of cucurbits crops, including carrying out of frequent seed fruit gatherings not in biological ripeness, but at the stage of technical maturity and subsequent storage of collected seed fruits seeds for some period until receiving by seeds of the high sowing features. It has been established that for the production of certified seeds of the Lunnyi watermelon variety, it is possible to collect 15-20-day-old fruits and store them for after-ripening purpose for 20 days before releasing (extracting) the seeds. The studied method allows to significantly increase the overall productivity of seed crops. Running the seed breeding of melons and gourds, which form a large number of fruits, based on frequent gatherings and subsequent storage of batches of seed fruits before seed extraction is very cost-effective and economically-viable, even despite a significant increase of the production cost by 30-40%. The method allows to increase the yield of seed material per area unit by 140-155% and to advance, first of all, the germination readiness of seeds to match the first class under the sowing features. On the basis of the conducted research, it was obtained a patent for the invention “Method of conducting seed production of polycarpous varieties of vegetables and cucurbits crops”.Существенным недостатком используемых в практике семеноводческих хозяйств одноразовых сборов семенных плодов является то, что для выделения семян используют разновозрастные (недозревшие, переспевшие и оптимально вызревшие) плоды, соответственно имеющие семена с разными посевными качествами. Проведение нескольких последовательных сборов ещё не достигших биологической зрелости семенных плодов с последующим их хранением, позволяет нивелировать эти проблемы. На примере сорта арбуза Лунный представлены результаты изучения нового способа ведения семеноводства многоплодных сортов бахчевых культур, включающего проведение многоразовых сборов семенных плодов не в биологической, а в технической зрелости, и последующего хранения собранных семенных плодов в течение определенного срока до достижения семенами высоких посевных качеств. Установлено, что для получения кондиционных семян сорта арбуза Лунный возможен сбор 15-20-суточных плодов и хранение их с целью дозаривания в течение 20 суток до выделения семян. Изучаемый способ позволяет существенно увеличить общую продуктивность семеноводческих посевов. Ведение семеноводства сортов бахчевых культур, формирующих большое количество плодов, на основе многоразовых сборов и последующего хранения партий семенных плодов до выделения семян, несмотря на существенное удорожание производства на 20-25% является очень рентабельным и экономически выгодным. Способ позволяет увеличить выход семенного материала с единицы площади на 30-50% и повысить, в первую очередь, энергию прорастания семян до соответствия первому классу по посевным качествам. На основании проведенных исследований получен патент на изобретение «Способ ведения семеноводства многоплодных сортов овощных и бахчевых культур»
ПЕРСПЕКТИВНЫЕ НАПРАВЛЕНИЯ В СЕЛЕКЦИИ КАБАЧКА
In recent years the interest of the Russian citizens in “healthy diet” has been growing. An important role in this matter can play a low-calorie marrow squash considered as a dietary product, but rich with a lot of useful vitamins and saline minerals. In the selective seed-production enterprise “Master Semya” it is placed a high emphasis on the creation of varieties and F1 hybrids not only productive, but also attractive and eyecatching, with a high level of biochemical features. Within the research it was selected three maternal lines of a marrow and carried out the estimation of their overall combinational ability for yielding capacity and biochemical parameters. There were given recommendations on their use in the selection of F1 hybrids. The high values of overall combinational ability for the characteristics of “content of solid matter” and “sugar amount” were distinguished on the maternal line GRS ms. While assessing the economic utility of F1 hybrids of this maternal line, the attention should be paid to the manifestation of a specific combinational ability for productivity. On the characteristics of “yielding capacity of fruits” and “ascorbic acid content” it was noted a hybrid progeny of the maternal line GRA ms. Selections for specific combinational ability have to be made for a characteristic of high content of solid matter. The maternal line GRL ms has an average data on overall combinational ability for all the studied characteristics. Selections should be conducted according to certain distinguished combinations. The hybrid combinations were evaluated for the main agronomic features and pointed out the promising ones for industrial processing. For the sale in a fresh form and home cooking it is recommended marrow variety “Astor” as productive, with high biochemical characteristics, keeping the marketable qualities for a long time.В последние годы в России растет интерес населения к «здоровому питанию». Важную роль в этом может играть кабачок, считающийся диетическим продуктом, низкокалорийный, но с большим количеством полезных витаминов и минеральных солей. В селекционно-семеноводческом предприятии «Мастер семя» большое значение придают созданию сортов и гибридов F1, не только продуктивных, но и внешне привлекательных, с высоким уровнем биохимических показателей. Отселектированы 3 материнские линии кабачка, проведена оценка их общей комбинационной способности (ОКС) по урожайности и биохимическим показателям. Даны рекомендации по их использованию в селекции гибридов F1. По признакам «содержание сухого вещества» и «сумма сахаров» высокие значения ОКС отмечены у материнской линии GRS ms. При оценке хозяйственной полезности гибридов F1 этой материнской линии нужно обращать внимание на проявление специфической комбинационной способности по продуктивности. По признакам «урожайность плодов» и «содержание аскорбиновой кислоты» выделилось гибридное потомство материнской линии GRA ms. Отборы по специфической комбинационной способности нужно делать на высокое содержание сухого вещества. Материнская линия GRL ms имеет средние показатели ОКС по всем изученным признакам. Отборы нужно вести по отдельным выделившимся комбинациям. Проведена оценка гибридных комбинаций по основным хозяйственно ценным признакам и выделены перспективные для промышленной переработки. Для реализации в свежем виде и домашней кулинарии рекомендован сорт кабачка Астор – продуктивный, с высокими биохимическими показателями, продолжительно сохраняющий товарные качества
Protein phosphatase 1 regulates atypical mitotic and meiotic division in Plasmodium sexual stages
PP1 is a conserved eukaryotic serine/threonine phosphatase that regulates many aspects of
mitosis and meiosis, often working in concert with other phosphatases, such as CDC14 and
CDC25. The proliferative stages of the malaria parasite life cycle include sexual development
within the mosquito vector, with male gamete formation characterized by an atypical rapid
mitosis, consisting of three rounds of DNA synthesis, successive spindle formation with
clustered kinetochores, and a meiotic stage during zygote to ookinete development following
fertilization. It is unclear how PP1 is involved in these unusual processes. Using real-time livecell and ultrastructural imaging, conditional gene knockdown, RNA-seq and proteomic
approaches, we show that Plasmodium PP1 is implicated in both mitotic exit and, potentially,
establishing cell polarity during zygote development in the mosquito midgut, suggesting that
small molecule inhibitors of PP1 should be explored for blocking parasite transmission
