    Tanaman jeruk siam merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi, dalam pengusahaan bibit jeruk siam yang berkualitas, ketersediaan entres di BPMT berperan penting terhadap keberlangsungan USAha pembibitan jeruk siam dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menetukan efisiensi biaya dan prospek pengembangan USAha pembibitan jeruk siam. Penetuan lokasi penelitian dengan menggunakan purposive method. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan analitis. Analisis data menggunakan R/C Ratio, Pendapatan, dan Analisis SWOT. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan biaya dalam satu kali produksi pada USAha pembibitan jeruk siam adalah efisien dan pendapatan petani menguntungkan.     A transversal skill is one of the skills needed in every type of workplace setting. There is limited information about the perceptions of which transferable skills are needed in the workplace. The objective of this study is to explore the transferable skills among students and lecturers in TVET higher learning institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia. In the present study, transferable skills consist of communication skills, collaboration skills, problem-solving skills, entrepreneurship, and learning to learn skills. A qualitative research was conducted using survey. The five Likert scale questionnaire was distributed to lecturers and students from selected Malaysian and Indonesian universities who have bachelor program in engineering. Based on the analysis outcomes, it is clearly shown that Malaysian university engineering students yielded significantly higher scores on the perceptions of transferable skill acquisition in all measured components compared to their counterparts in Indonesia. Similar patterns of data distribution have been observed in Malaysian and Indonesian engineering students. Based on the lecturers’ perception, Malaysian and Indonesian Engineering Lecturers have comparable perceptions in the aspects of problem solving skills and entrepreneurship skills. In contrast, Malaysian university engineering lecturers gained significantly higher scores on the perception of communication skill, collaboration skill, and learning to learn skill compared to the Indonesian lecturers. The results indicate the need to increase transferable skills of both lecturers and students

    Dampak Erupsi Gunung Api Raung terhadap USAhatani Tembakau Na-oogst di Desa Ampel Kecamatan Wuluhan Kabupaten Jember

    Pada tahun 2015 terjadi Erupsi Gunung Api Raung yang menyebabkan berbagai macam kerusakan pada komoditas perkebunan termasuk tembakau. Abu vulkanik dari erupsi tersebut mengandung unsur silika yang menempel pada daun tembakau menyebabkan produksi dan kualitas tembakau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) produksi dan kualitas tembakau Na-Oogst Sebelum dan sesudah erupsi Gunung Api Raung di Desa Ampel Kecamatan Wuluhan; (2) pendapatan petani sebelum dan sesudah erupsi Gunung Api Raung di Desa Ampel Kecamatan Wuluhan. Penentuan daerah penelitian menggunakan purposive method. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan komparatif. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan disproportionate stratified random samplingdengan responden sebanyak41 petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis pendapatan, analisis uji beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) produksi tembakau Na-Oogst sebelum dan sesudah terjadinya erupsi tidak berubah secara signifikan. Sedangkan kualitas tembakau sebelum dan sesudah erupsi mengalami Perubahan. (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pendapatan USAhatani tembakau sebelum dan sesudah terjadinya erupsi

    PCK Model Shulman Berdasarkan Pengalaman Mengajar Guru Fisika

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kompetensi PCK dengan model Shulman guru fisika berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis wacana. Subyek penelitian adalah dua guru fisika di sekolah menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru fisika yang memiliki pengalaman mengajar lebih lama lebih fleksibel, terfokus pada kedalaman materi dan lebih bervariasi dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran, sedangkan guru dengan pengalaman mengajar yang buruk fokus pada kedalaman materi. Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat diketahui karakteristik mengajar guru berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar. Studi ini berguna sebagai rekomendasi bagi para pemangku kepentingan untuk menentukan sejauh mana integrasi kompetensi pedagogis dan konten dari masing-masing guru

    Towards Digital TVET: A Comparative Study on Students’ Readiness in The Industry Digital Demands in Indonesia and Malaysia

    One of the current challenges in the industrial revolution 4.0 is the acceleration of digitalization in vocational education, which is also required to meet various industrial demands, including digital skills. This study aims to measure and analyse the digital skills level possessed by students who have experience in the industry. The study involves two universities, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) and University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). By using an online questionnaire, 259 students from UPI and UTHM answered 21 questions to measure five digital competence domains as described in the European Digital Competence Framework, which are information, communication, content creation, safety, and problem-solving. Each option on the questions indicates the level of digital competencies measured by scores. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics, such as frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation and independent sample t-test. The result shows that on average, both UPI and UTHM students scored in the intermediate level, with UTHM students scoring slightly higher than UPI students on average. Interestingly, both UPI and UTHM students scored the highest in the information domain and the lowest in problem-solving. It shows that the hypothesis was not accepted as there is a significant difference in the digital skills of the students from both countries. Based on the findings, the result is expected to provide input and improvement in the targeted aspects based on the findings

    Kelompok tani sebagai kekuatan yang mendasar merupakan basis integral dari pembangunan pertanian secara nasional yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan masyarakat petani. Perwujudan pengembangan kelompok tani dilaksanakan melalui penguatan dan pemantapan aspek finansial. Keberadaan kelompok tani sangat bermanfaat bagi petani. Anggota kelompok dapat memperoleh kredit lunak dari Bank sebagai modal usahatani pisang mas Kirana. Tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi sumber permodalan dan kelayakan usahatani pisang mas Kirana pada kelompok tani pisang mas Kirana. Lokasi penelitian adalah Kecamatan Pasrujambe. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian lebih mengarah pada metode diskriptif dan analitis. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan Purposive Sampling dan Snowball sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis data menggunakan Analisis kelayakan usaha, dan analisa deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sumber permodalan usahatani pisang mas Kirana berasal dari permodalan mandiri dan bantuan dari pemerintah. Pendapatan yang dihasilkan pada usahatani pisang mas Kirana menguntungkan dan layak untuk diusahakan
