Keanekaragaman Jenis Ikan Di Sungai Enim Kabupaten Muaraenim Provinsi Sumatera Selatan |Fish Diversity in River Enim, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatera Province]
Study mi fish diversity was conducted from September 2002 until February 2003. The aim Of study is to determine fish species living in River Enim. Survey method and purposive random sampling were used. Fish sampling using some equipments, such as cast net, drift gillnet. hook and line, and bamboo trap. The result indicated that there were 28 species in 11 families, and four orders. Family Cyprmidae has the most numerous fish (14 species), followed by Cobitidae (4 species) and Balitoridae (2 species). The other families have one species only
Persepsi Siswa Tentang Kegiatan Praktikum Biologi di Laboratorium SMA Negeri Se-kota Jambi
Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang kegiatan praktikum biologi di laboratorium SMA Negeri se-Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus sampai Oktober 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri se-kota Jambi dan sampel sebanyak 286 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di SMA Negeri se-kota Jambi mengenai persepsi siswa tentang kegiatan praktikum biologi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan praktikum biologi di SMA Negeri se-kota Jambi telah berlangsung dengan baik sebesar 64,34% dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 184 orang, kegiatan praktikum biologi berlangsung cukup baik sebesar 33,92% dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 97 orang, dan kegiatan praktikum biologi yang tidak berlangsung dengan baik (buruk) sebesar 1,75% dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 5 orang. Kegiatan praktikum biologi di laboratorium SMA Negeri se-kota Jambi untuk tahap persiapan kegiatan praktikum dikategorikan baik sebesar 72,20%, tahap pelaksanaan (kerja) praktikum dikategorikan baik sebesar 67,22%, dan tahap penutup kegiatan praktikum dikategorikan baik sebesar 72,99%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kegiatan praktikum biologi di SMA Negeri se-kota Jambi sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik
Stem Learning in Material of Temperature and Its Change to Improve Scientific Literacy of Junior High School
This research aims to determine the improvement of students' scientific literacy after STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning using 6E Learning by DesignTM Model on temperature and its changes material. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri (State Junior High School) 1 Bumiayu in the academic year 2015/2016. The method used was quasi-experimental design with The Matching Only - pretest posttest control group design. This study used two group of experiment group of students who learned the material with STEM learning using 6E Learning by DesignTM, while the control group students learned with non-STEM learning. The analysis showed that the students' scientific literacy in experiment group is better than control group. The conclusion that can be drawn is STEM learning using 6E Learning by DesignTM on temperature and its changes material can improve students' scientific literacy
The Effect of Fermented Oil Palm Fronds in Diet on Body Weight Gain and Meat Quality of Goat
The aims of study were to evaluate the use of fermented of oil palm fronds (FOPF) on body weightgain and meat quality of goat. This experiment was arranged in Completely Randomized Design with 3treatments i.e. R1 (grass 0%: FOPF 100%), R2 (grass 50%: FOPF 50%) and R3 (grass 100%: FOPF 0%)and 5 replications. The parameters of the study were feed intake, average daily gain (ADG), weight andpercentage of carcass and meat quality. The results indicated that feed intake and meat quality of goatwas not affected by treatment, but the average daily gain, carcass weight, and percentage of carcass, wasaffected by the differences of percentage of FOPF in the pellet complete feed. The best ration was in theR1 ration (grass 0%: FOPF 100%) that significantly different (P<0.05) from the other rations. The feedintake tended to be higher in goat fed R1 (895.87 g/d) compared to those in goat with the R2 (854.38g/d) and R3 (851.53 g/d). The average daily gain and carcass weight were higher in goat fed R1 rationcompared to those in goat fed R2 and R3. Consequently, the carcass percentage in R1 was higher thanthose in R2 and R3. The carcass percentage was ranged from 38.41-41.38%. The Ribeye area was higherin goat fed R1 (9.73 cm2) than R2 (8.34 cm2) and R3 (7.76 cm2). In this study, the protein content ofgoat meat was ranged from 19.06 to 20.71%, lipid content was ranged from 0.703 to 1.106% and watercontent was range from 72.45% to 74.12%, in which were not different among the treatments. It can beconcluded that the use of FOPF in a complete feed could improve performance and meat quality of goat
Implementasi Peraturan Daerah Kota Semarang Nomor 14 Tahun 2011 Tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kota Semarang 2011-2031 (Studi Kasus Penataan Ruang Kawasan Simongan)
Landscaping area is the process of spatial planning and space utilization to control the development of the region. Spatial planning Semarang itself is set in Semarang City Regional Regulation No. 14 of 2011 on Spatial Planning Semarang City Year 2011-2031. Implementation of these regulations is difficult to do, as it happens in Simongan Region, District of West Semarang. Simongan region is mentioned as a settlement area of allotment, the trade and services and not as an industrial area. But in fact there are 12 companies located in the region. There is resistance from employers, factory workers and the public against this policy because the policy had an impact on the social and economic fields. Hampered by the problem of financial resources. However Semarang City Government still taking action to not issue a business license for industry in Region Simongan industry for entrepreneurs willing to relocate. There are several factors that affect the implementation of this policy, the resources, the strategy of implementing actors, characteristics of institutions and authorities, public response and target groups as well as compliance with the target group. It should be done reexamining the region by involving community, business, academia and experts structuring policy space in order to be accepted by all parties and in accordance with the existing problems at the site
Analisis Nilai Tambah Agroindustri Kripik Ubi di Kota Pontianak
Agro processing cassava chips businesses is one of the efforts that are currently being developed in the city of Pontianak. The existence of this business is expected to improve the quality, profitability, value-added products. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the added value obtained from cassava chips processing in Pontianak. This research was conducted using descriptive methods, population in this study were cassava chips entrepreneurs in the city of Pontianak. Data collected included primary data and secondary data. Techniques of data collection is done by direct interviews with respondents and recording data from relevant agencies. Data analysis was performed by using a format according to the analysis of value-added Hayami method. The results of the study show that the value added obtained in cassava chips agro-businesses in the city of Pontianak is Rp. 25 231 per kg or by 78.8%, with gains amounting to Rp. 24269.8 / kg with a profit margin of 95.56% employer
A model for ranking and selecting integrity tests in a distributed database
Checking the consistency of a database state generally involves the execution of integrity tests on the database,
which verify whether the database is satisfying its constraints or not. This paper presents the various types
of integrity tests as reported in previous works and discusses how these tests can significantly improve the
performance of the constraint checking mechanisms without limiting to a certain type of test. Having these test
alternatives and selecting the most suitable test is an issue that needs to be tackled. In this regard, the authors
propose a model to rank and select the suitable test to be evaluated given several alternative tests. The model
uses the amount of data transferred across the network, the number of sites involved, and the amount of data
accessed as the parameters in deciding the suitable test. Several analyses have been performed to evaluate
the proposed model, and results show that the model achieves a higher percentage of local processing as
compared to the previous selected strategies
Pengembangan Buku Pop Up Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Pada Materi Crustacea Untuk SMA Kelas X
Media buku pop up merupakan suatu media yang memiliki unsur tiga dimensi. Buku pop-up mempunyai kemampuan untuk memperkuat kesan yang ingin disampaikan dalam suatu materi sehingga membuat materi lebih mudah diingat dan dipelajari.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model R&D. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa buku pop up materi Crustacea yang dapat mempermudah pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran biologi dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media buku pop up pada materi Crustacea tersebut. Subjek uji coba satu lawan satu sebanyak 2 orang siswa dan uji coba kelompok kecil sebanyak 12 orang siswa. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil revisi produk ahli media, ahli materi dan uji coba responden adalah sebagai berikut. Revisi ahli media dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali, persentase kelayakan produk 71% dikategorikan baik. Revisi ahli materi dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali, persentase kelayakan produk 84% dikategorikan sangat baik. Persentase uji coba satu lawan satu dan uji coba kelompok kecil berturut-turut yaitu 88% dan 91,6%. persentase tersebut termasuk di dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan berupa media pembelajaran buku pop up layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran
Manajemen Laboratorium Biologi Beberapa SMA Swasta di Kota Jambi
Keberadaan laboratorium di sekolah sangat penting dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar biologi. Adanya laboratorium diharapkan proses pengajaran IPA dapat dilaksanakan seoptimal mungkin. Setiap laboratorium di sekolah sudah seharusnya memiliki manajemen laboratorium yang baik, agar kegiatan praktikum dapat terlaksana dengan lancar. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen laboratorium biologi yang telah dilakukan oleh pengelola laboratorium beberapa SMA Swasta di Kota Jambi.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan analisis deskriptif.Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala laboratorium dan guru biologi beberapa SMA swasta di Kota Jambi. Sekolah-sekolah tersebut adalah sekolah yang berakreditasi A (SMA Xaverius 1, SMA Xaverius 2, SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra, SMA Unggul Sakti, dan SMA Nusantara) dan berakreditasi B (SMA Islam Al-Falah, SMA Yadika, SMA Dharma Bhakti 4, SMA Adhyaksa 1, SMA Dharma Bhakti 3, dan SMA PGRI 2) yang ditetapkan tahun 2011. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Lembar observasi alat dan bahan praktikum biologi menggunakan skala bertingkat (rating scale).Setelah itu observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari empat indikator manajemen laboratorium (perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan) dengan 29 rincian dapat dilihat bahwa manajemen laboratorium biologi di tujuh SMA swasta di Kota Jambi yang telah diteliti belum terlaksana dengan baik. Dari tujuh sekolah tersebut, manajemen laboratorium biologi yang terbaik yaitu SMA Yadika dengan memenuhi 18 dari 29 rincian yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan setiap sekolah, laboratorium biologinya harus memiliki manajemen laboratorium yang baik agar kegiatan praktikum dapat terlaksana dengan efektif dan efisien, karena alat dan bahan laboratorium yang lengkap belum tentu dapat berfungsi dengan baik jika tidak didukung oleh manajemen yang baik. Selain itu, laboratorium juga harus memiliki teknisi dan laboran, karena peran teknisi dan laboran sangat dibutuhkan untuk membantu tugas kepala laboratorium dalam memanajemen laboratorium
Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Kandang Kerbau Dan Dosis Pupuk Anorganik Terhadap Hara N, P, K Tanah, Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hara N, P, K tanah, respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah varietas Medan terhadap pemberian pupuk kandang kerbau dan dosis pupuk anorganik di Desa Unjur Kecamatan Simanindo Kabupaten Samosir dan analisis tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium PT Nusa Pusaka Kencana, Tebing Tinggi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Januari sampai April 2016. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) 2 faktor yang terdiri dari 2x5 taraf yaitu K0 (0 ton/ha pupuk kandang kerbau), K1 (15 ton/ha pupuk kandang kerbau), P0 (0 kg/ha NPK, 0 kg/ha ZA, 0 kg/ha KCl), P1 (65 kg/ha NPK, 65 kg/ha ZA, 15 kg/ha KCl), P2 (130 kg/ha NPK, 130 kg/ha ZA, 30 kg/ha KCl), P3 (195 kg/ha NPK, 195 kg/ha ZA, 45 kg/ha KCl), Px (800 kg/ha NPK, 400 kg/ha ZA, 0 kg/ha KCl) dengan jumlah ulangan sebanyak 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang meningkatkan panjang tanaman, bobot basah umbi dan bobot kering umbi bawang merah. Pemberian pupuk anorganik meningkatkan hara N dan P tanah, akan tetapi pada dosis tinggi, semakin tinggi dosis pupuk anorganik yang diberikan dapat menurunkan hasil produksi bawang merah. Produksi tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan K1P1 (15 ton/ha pupuk kandang kerbau, 65 kg/ha NPK, 65 kg/ha ZA, 15 kg/ha KCl)
