The fermionic oscillator defined by the algebraic relations cc^*+c^*c=1 and c^{2}=0 admits the homogeneous group O(2) as its invariance group. We show that, the structure of the inhomogeneous invariance group of this oscillator is a quantum group.Comment: 7 A4 page

Properties of the one-dimensional Hubbard model: cellular dynamical mean-field description

The one-dimensional half-filled Hubbard model is considered at zero temperature within the cellular dynamical mean-field theory (CDMFT). By the computation of the spectral gap and the energy density with various cluster and bath sizes we examine the accuracy of the CDMFT in a systematic way, which proves the accurate description of the one-dimensional systems by the CDMFT with small clusters. We also calculate the spectral weights in a full range of the momentum for various interaction strengths. The results do not only account for the spin-charge separation, but they also reproduce all the features of the Bethe ansatz dispersions, implying that the CDMFT provides an excellent description of the spectral properties of low-dimensional interacting systems.Comment: J. Cherubism is a rare developmental lesion of the jaw that is generally inherited as an autosomal dominant trait. Recent studies have revealed point mutations in the SH3BP2 gene in cherubism patients. In this study, we examined a 6-year-old Korean boy and his family. We found a Pro418Arg mutation in the SH3BP2 gene of the patient and his mother. A father and his 30-month-old younger brother had no mutations. Immunohistochemically, the multinucleated giant cells proved positive for CD68 and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP). Numerous spindle-shaped stromal cells expressed a ligand for receptor activator of nuclear factor kB (RANKL), but not in multinucleated giant cells. These results provide evidence that RANKL plays a critical role in the differentiation of osteoclast precursor cells to multinucleated giant cells in cherubism. Additionally, genetic analysis may be a useful method for differentiation of cherubism.</p

The difficulty of the inventory carried out in the mangrove forest area is due to the vast expanse of mangrove forests with a high-density level, so it must use High-Resolution Satellite Imagery (CSRT) which requires high costs. The approach to processing very high-resolution images is the object-based approach (OBIA). UAV technology development using cameras mounted on UAVs has been widely used in forest inventories that have benefits, low costs, and high flexibility. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the types of mangroves using UAV images with OBIA classification and calculate the tree canopy height model in mangrove forests. The results showed that the accuracy-test used a confusion matrix with Producer accuracy for BG 78%, CT 97%, RS 96.63%, RA 91.04%. In comparison, the user accuracy for BG is 88.89%, CT 97.73%, RS 97.73%, and RA 85%. Thus the overall efficiency is 92.98%

Berry phases for composite fermions: effective magnetic field and fractional statistics

The quantum Hall superfluid is presently the only viable candidate for a realization of quasiparticles with fractional Berry phase statistics. For a simple vortex excitation, relevant for a subset of fractional Hall states considered by Laughlin, non-trivial Berry phase statistics were demonstrated many years ago by Arovas, Schrieffer, and Wilczek. The quasiparticles are in general more complicated, described accurately in terms of excited composite fermions. We use the method developed by Kjonsberg, Myrheim and Leinaas to compute the Berry phase for a single composite-fermion quasiparticle, and find that it agrees with the effective magnetic field concept for composite fermions. We then evaluate the "fractional statistics", related to the change in the Berry phase for a closed loop caused by the insertion of another composite-fermion quasiparticle in the interior. Our results support the general validity of fractional statistics in the quantum Hall superfluid, while also giving a quantitative account of corrections to it when the quasiparticle wave functions overlap. Many caveats, both practical and conceptual, are mentioned that will be relevant to an experimental measurement of the fractional statistics. A short report on some parts of this article has appeared previously.Comment: 14 pages, 9 figure

Early childhood is a golden period in human development, because at this time began to be formed and expanded child competence development, both cognitively, emotionally and socially. One of the means that can support the development of children through early childhood education institutions. The Early Childhood Education Center in Pekanbaru will facilitate means of education such as classrooms, means of supporting such a garden nursery, children's play area, art space, performance space as well as a hall area. The child has its own character with different adults. The character of the child, active, creative, and do not like to be restricted cause the necessity of processing specifically against the arrangement of space to accommodate children's activities. With that to optimize The Early Childhood Education Center in Pekanbaru used architectural approach behavior. So there will be formed a good relationship between the function of space and user behavior. The basic idea in the formulation of the concept of the Design Center for early childhood education is derived from the character of early childhood behavior, where early childhood is the period of the free developing imagination and creativity. The application of the concept is applied to the arrangement of masses of buildings, building forms, circulation, structuring of space inside and outside spaces, as well as the facade of the building in accordance with the character of the child
