Kudus regency as one of the biggest cigarette\u27s tax producing in Indonesia. Based on that statement, so Kudus regency government arrange policy of governor\u27s rule No 4 2013 about guidelines for the management funds for tax results and tobacco\u27s result in Kudus regency. With the presence of its management, it is expected can help to decrease amount of destitution, unemployment, and increase economic development in Kudus Regency. The purpose of this study is to know how the system of management and how management of guidelines for the management funds for tax results and tobacco\u27s result in Kudus regency. Which to answer about the purpose and problems in this study is by using governor\u27s policy No 4 2013 as reference of management system and management theory by George R Terry in describing guidelines for the management funds for tax results and tobacco\u27s result in Kudus regency. The method used in this study is qualitative method by the study\u27s object are BAPPEDA, SEKDA and Dinas Perinkop and UMKM as SKPD of guidelines for the management funds for tax results and tobacco\u27s result in Kudus regency. The result of this study showed that in the implementation based on governor\u27s policy No 4 2013. In program that is funded by guidelines for the management funds for tax results and tobacco\u27s result both physical and non-physical give big effect to mid- low economy\u27s public in Kudus regency. In its implementation is still met problem, so that the result is far of the target. The problem is like limitedness of human resource in several SKPD. This case can be seen from the activity that is not spread all over yet in Kudus regency and the performance accomplishment that is not spread all over carried out yet

Pengaruh Pembelajaran Nht Disertai Pbmp terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa di Sman 1 Sungai Kakap

: This study aimed to determine the effect of NHT learning model with PBMP on the students\u27 learning outcomes on digestive system material in class XI of SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap. The research method used was experimental study with quasy-experimental study as the form of the research. The research sample was class XI Science 2 (NHT with PBMP group) and class XI IPA 1 (conventional group). The result of the data analysis shows that the average score of the students\u27 learning outcomes in NHT with PBMP group (16.85) was higher than the conventional group (14.27). The result of Mann-Whitney U test obtained by < has a meaning that there is a difference between the average score of the students\u27 learning outcomes in experimental class and control class. Therefore, NHT learning model with PBMP has an impact on the students\u27 learning outcomes in the material of digestive system

Relationship Between Implementation of Public Health Center Management, Work Commitment and Quality of Medical Services in Public Health Centres, Karangasem, Bali

Background and purpose: Quality of health services in the public health center in Karangasem remain a public health concern. Preliminary findings indicated there was a problem regarding implementation of health center management and working commitment of staff. This study aimed to determine the association between quality of medical services, the implementation of health centre management and working commitment of staff.Methods: Study was cross-sectional among 61 doctors and nurses at 12 public health centres who were selected purposively. Data were collected from February to March 2015 using questionnaires. Data analysis using logistic regression to examine the relationship between the quality of medical services with the implementation of health center management and working commitment of staff.Results: Findings indicated that the quality of medical services, the implementation of health centre management and working commitment of staff were relatively low. The quality of medical services provided was found associated with working commitment of staff (AOR=11.3; 95%C: 1.75-73.06) and not associated with implementation of health center management (AOR=0.9; 95%CI: 0.18-5.24).Conclusion: The quality of medical services provided was found associated with working commitment of staff and not associated with implementation of health center management

Perceptions of Community Health Care Center Workers on National Health Insurance (JKN) Healthcare Services Payment System in Karangasem Regency

Background and purpose: National Health Insurance (JKN) healthcare services payment system is a financialcompensation given to employees of health centers through an allocation system implemented by the Ministry ofHealth Regulation (Permenkes No. 28 of 2014). This study aims to explore health care workers perception of the JKNhealth care services payment system.Methods: In-depth interviews conducted among 12 participants selected purposively namely heads of health centers(doctors and public health graduated), medical personnel, paramedics, other health professionals, non-healthpersonnel (both civil servants and non-civil servants). Data were analyzed using thematic analysis approach presentednarratively.Results: Participants intimated that the amount of points based on the variable of kind of personnel and/or positionswere not proportional/not in accordance with the actual condition of the health center. The use of attendance ratesmade for an unconducive atmosphere as it was evident that this variable was not applied to all employees but only tothe central health centers. The differentiation of employment status with the same workload, and the uneven amountof points and grouping of years of service rather than workload was viewed as unfair and bias by respondents thereforethey believed this needs further assessment.Conclusion: The allocation of the JKN health care services payment system was perceived as prejudicial by theemployees of the health centers in Karangasem Regency. The amount of points distributed were not proportional tothe type of personnel and/or position, and the use of the level of attendance, differentiation of employment status,grouping of years of service not based on workloads were all issues raised by respondents

CORRELATION BETWEEN THE DURATION OF ANTI-EPILEPTIC DRUGS THERAPY AND VITAMIN D LEVEL IN EPILEPTIC CHILDREN

Long-term use of antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) for epilepsy causes a decrease in vitamin D levels due to the activation of liver cytochrome P450 enzymes. The novelty of this study is due to researching about correlation between the duration of anti-epileptic drugs therapy and vitamin d level in epileptic children This cross-sectional study was conducted from October - December 2021in children with epilepsy aged 1 month to 18 years admitted to pediatric neurology polyclinic of DR Wahidin Sudirohusodo. They were divided into two groups: epileptic children receiving AEDs treatment ≤ 1 year and epileptic children receiving AEDs treatment 1 year. Statistical analysis showed no significant relationship between the duration of AEDs use and the incidence of vitamin D deficiency in children with epilepsy.Keywords: Vitamin D Deficiency; Antiepileptic Drugs; Epileps

Do Older Adults Aged 60–75 Years Benefit From Diabetes Behavioral Interventions?

OBJECTIVE In this secondary analysis, we examined whether older adults with diabetes (aged 60–75 years) could benefit from self-management interventions compared with younger adults. Seventy-one community-dwelling older adults and 151 younger adults were randomized to attend a structured behavioral group, an attention control group, or one-to-one education. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS We measured A1C, self-care (3-day pedometer readings, blood glucose checks, and frequency of self-care), and psychosocial factors (quality of life, diabetes distress, frustration with self-care, depression, self-efficacy, and coping styles) at baseline and 3, 6, and 12 months postintervention. RESULTS Both older (age 67 ± 5 years, A1C 8.7 ± 0.8%, duration 20 ± 12 years, 30% type 1 diabetes, 83% white, 41% female) and younger (age 47 ± 9 years, A1C 9.2 ± 1.2%, 18 ± 12 years with diabetes, 59% type 1 diabetes, 82% white, 55% female) adults had improved A1C equally over time. Importantly, older and younger adults in the group conditions improved more and maintained improvements at 12 months (older structured behavioral group change in A1C −0.72 ± 1.4%, older control group −0.65 ± 0.9%, younger behavioral group −0.55 ± 1.2%, younger control group −0.43 ± 1.7%). Furthermore, frequency of self-care, glucose checks, depressive symptoms, quality of life, distress, frustration with self-care, self-efficacy, and emotional coping improved in older and younger participants at follow-up. CONCLUSIONS The findings suggest that, compared with younger adults, older adults receive equal glycemic benefit from participating in self-management interventions. Moreover, older adults showed the greatest glycemic improvement in the two group conditions. Clinicians can safely recommend group diabetes interventions to community-dwelling older adults with poor glycemic control
