Limiting phenomena in a new forming process for two-rib plates
This paper presents chosen results of theoretical and experimental research works on a new metal forming process of two-rib plates. The first part of the paper deals with forging technology of such products in a three-slide forging press, assuming two variants of the process: semi-open die forming and closed-die forming. In the further part of the paper, applying software simulations and making experiments for lead, the analysis of the assumed variants with consideration of optimal parameters of forming and present limiting phenomena was conducted. The phenomena disturbing the two-rib plates forging process were discussed in details. They include: plate buckling, overlapping and various types of forging deformation

Studying hydrogen bonding and dynamics of the acetylate groups of the Special Pair of Rhodobacter sphaeroides WT
Although the cofactors in the bacterial reaction centre of Rhodobacter sphaeroides wild type (WT) are arranged almost symmetrically in two branches, the light-induced electron transfer occurs selectively in one branch. As origin of this functional symmetry break, a hydrogen bond between the acetyl group of PL in the primary donor and His-L168 has been discussed. In this study, we investigate the existence and rigidity of this hydrogen bond with solid-state photo-CIDNP MAS NMR methods offering information on the local electronic structure due to highly sensitive and selective NMR experiments. On the time scale of the experiment, the hydrogen bond between PL and His-L168 appears to be stable and not to be affected by illumination confirming a structural asymmetry within the Special Pair

Creating of innovative business model in modern enterprise
W artykule podj臋to problem tworzenia modeli biznesowych w warunkach jakie stwarza wsp贸艂czesna rzeczywisto艣膰 gospodarcza. Dynamiczne uj臋cie tych aspekt贸w wyznacza potencja艂 innowacji w organizacji. Rozwa偶ania poparto wynikami bada艅 w艂asnych. We wnioskach sformu艂owano wskaz贸wki metodologiczne do tworzenia modeli biznesu. In the article the problem of creating of business models in the conditions posed by contemporary economic reality is discussed. The author focus on the micro-processes of value, emerging in the interactions of agents. From this perspective, the business model appears as an abstract representation of the complex experience. The dynamic approach to these facets of the processes determines the potential of innovation within the organization. Methodological guidelines for creating business models are formulated in the conclusions
Strategic aspects of value creation to the client and enterprise
Artyku艂 dotyczy problemu tworzenia warto艣ci dla klienta z punktu widzenia interes贸w strategicznych przedsi臋biorstwa. Podj臋to pr贸b臋 okre艣lenia podstaw do oceny inicjatyw strategicznych przedsi臋biorstw, pod k膮tem tworzenia warto艣ci odpowiadaj膮cej wsp贸艂czesnym uwarunkowaniom prowadzenia dzia艂alno艣ci gospodarczej. Zagadnienie zilustrowano odpowiednio dobranym przyk艂adem praktycznym pochodz膮cym z bran偶y g贸rniczej. In this paper, author considers the problem of value creation to the client from the point of view of strategic interest of the enterprise. It was assumed, that suitable selection and implementation of strategic initiatives are relevant mechanisms of change in business models, which also makes it possible for enterprise to survive in dynamic and complex environment in long time perspective. The efforts have been made to pinpoint basics to evaluate initiative from the point of view of value creation in reference to contemporary business conditions. The concept was illustrated by case study from coal mine sector
Strategies of adjustment of business models of multinational companies to environment of emerging markets
W artykule przedstawiono strategie dostosowywania przedsi臋biorstwa w warunkach ogranicze艅 instytucjonalnych w艂a艣ciwych dla rynk贸w wy艂aniaj膮cych si臋. W zale偶no艣ci od sposobu uczenia si臋 zidentyfikowano dwa typy strategii. W drugim ograniczenia instytucjonalne traktowane s膮 jako kierunkowskazy do uczenia si臋. Tw贸rcze podej艣cie do ogranicze艅 instytucjonalnych mo偶e by膰 podstaw膮 skuteczno艣ci strategicznej przedsi臋biorstw, kt贸re nie dysponuj膮 tradycyjnymi 藕r贸d艂ami przewagi konkurencyjnej na rynku zagranicznym. The article presents strategies of adjustment of MNCs to institutional environment inherent in emerging markets. Two types of strategies were identified. First type is appropriate for the traditional MNCs, which perceive adjustment as a necessary compromise, threatening the efficiency of the company level. In the second case, institutional constraints are treated as indicators of learning. Creative approach to institutional constraints could become the basis for the strategic effectiveness of MNCs, which do not have the traditional sources of competitive advantage in a foreign market
Qualitative Research of AZ31 Magnesium Alloy Aircraft Brackets Produced by a New Forging Method
The paper reports a selection of numerical and experimental results of a new closed-die forging method for producing AZ31 magnesium alloy aircraft brackets with one rib. The numerical modelling of the new forming process was performed by the finite element method. The distributions of stresses, strains, temperature and forces were examined. The numerical results confirmed that the forgings produced by the new forming method are correct. For this reason, the new forming process was verified experimentally. The experimental results showed good agreement with the numerical results. The produced forgings of AZ31 magnesium alloy aircraft brackets with one rib were then subjected to qualitative tests
