Adsorption of Cu2+ Ion on Ferric Hydroxide
publisherThe ferric hydroxide precipitate produced from ferrous sulfate solution by air oxidation under the conditions of pH 5.0 and 35℃ was α-FeOOH or a mixture of α-FeOOH and amorphous Fe(OH)3. The pH of iep of ferric hydroxide was 6.7 and the sign of zeta potential in weakly acidic solution was positive. The pH of pzc was 5.83. The relationship between -FeOH and -FeOH2+ type surface sites of ferric hydroxide can be written as -FeOH+H⇔-FeOH2+
and the adsorption reaction between Cu2+ ion and ferric hydroxide is written as -FeOH2++Cu2++H2O⇔-FeOH・CuOH++2H+.

Evolution of floating offshore wind platforms: A review of at-sea devices
Using floating platforms to support offshore wind turbines will be necessary for many countries to reach their Net-Zero targets, since much of the wind resource is located at water depths at which fixed offshore wind turbines are uneconomic or technologically unfeasible. However, floating platforms for wind turbines are still at an early stage of development, and there are a wide range of platform designs. This paper reviews the current state-of-the-art of floating offshore wind turbine platform designs which currently have or have previously had a prototype, demonstration, or farm scale project at sea. The most common design goals for the platforms and the corresponding design features of platforms used to achieve those goals are reviewed. Past, current and projected future levelized cost of energy values for floating offshore wind are reviewed and discussed. The development of each platform design is described, including evolving design goals and resulting changes in platform features. Finally, overall trends in platform designs are discussed and divided into three phases, defined by changing goals: (i) influences from the offshore oil and gas industry, (ii) specialization to floating offshore wind, and (iii) further specialization to local environment

文化財施設の犬養毅生家から分離した酵母Saccharomyces cerevisiaeを用いて清酒製造を行い,それを商品化するため商品設計を行い,試作品のアンケート調査により商品設計との検証を行った。製成酒は辛口でやや濃醇な酒質と判断され,岡山県特産酒米の雄町米を使用した本醸造酒であることから,岡山県をイメージさせ,男女を問わず広い世代で楽しめ,飲み易いというコンセプトを満たした。さらに犬養毅をイメージした酒質調製,ならびに普段お酒を飲まない人でも手に取りやすく,優しく,和風,威厳というイメージを持つ容器デザインを開発した。アンケート調査を実施し,容器デザインの商品設計を検証し,商品化した。departmental bulletin pape
Concept development for deployment of a modular, floating, tidal-stream device
The Modular Tide Generators (MTG) project is now in its second phase; the present design concept has been completed including structural, hydrostatic and basic hydrodynamic modelling; a series of scale-model experiments are being undertaken to validate a fully-nonlinear numerical tool and confirm the design assumptions. Flume tests are used to calibrate a 1:25 scale turbine model (porous disc), and basin tests are used to model the complete system, including: freely, floating, twin-hulled structure; 4-point mooring system, and submerged turbine model, at 1:12 scale. Moorings loads, thrust on the turbine and 6DoF motions of the platform are recorded over a range of wave and current conditions based on two proposed deployment sites at Carrick roads on the Truro River, UK.
