Reconclining phi radiative decays with other data for a0(980), fo(980), pi-pi -> KK and pi-pi -> eta-eta

Data for phi -> gamma (eta-pizero) are analysed using the KK loop model and compared with parameters of a0(980) derived from Crystal Barrel data. The eta-pi mass spectrum agrees closely and the absolute normalisation lies just within errors. However, BES parameters for fo(980) predict a normalisation for phi -> gamma (pizero-pizero) at least a factor 2 lower than is observed. This discrepancy may be eliminated by including constructive interference between fo(980) and sigma. The magnitude required for sigma -> KK is consistent with data on pi-pi -> KK. A dispersion relation analysis by Buttiker, Descotes-Genon and Moussallam of pi-pi -> KK leads to a similar conclusion. Data on pi-pi -> eta-eta also require decays of sigma to eta-eta. Four sets of pi-pi -> KK data all require a small but definite fo(1370) signal.Comment: 21 pages, 11 figures, Small rearrangement of reference

Near-threshold production of omega mesons in the pn -> d omega reaction

The first measurement of the p n -> d omega total cross section has been achieved at mean excess energies of Q = 28 and 57 MeV by using a deuterium cluster-jet target. The momentum of the fast deuteron was measured in the ANKE spectrometer at COSY-Juelich and that of the slow "spectator" proton p(sp) from the p d -> p(sp) d omega reaction in a silicon telescope placed close to the target. Minimum generation error training by using original spectrum as reference for log spectral distortion measure

application/pdfThis paper improves a minimum generation error (MGE) basedHMM training technique for HMM-based speech synthesis by directlyusing the original spectrum instead of line spectral pairs(LSPs) as reference spectrum for log spectral distortion (LSD) measure.Two types of original reference spectra for LSD calculation areinvestigated, including the spectrum extracted from speech waveformby STRAIGHT, and the short-time FFT spectrum calculatedfrom speech waveforms. Since only the harmonics of the FFT spectrumare coincident with the underlying spectral envelope, the LSDbetween generated LSPs and original FFT spectrum is calculated bysampling at the harmonic frequencies, and a weighting function isdesigned to simulate the sampling strategy on LSPs. Educational Needs of Nurses at The Visiting Care Stations in N prefecture

訪問看護ステーションの管理者および訪問看護婦の教育ニーズを明らかにし、訪問看護ステーションに勤務する看護職に対する今後の教育のあり方を検討することを目的として、N県内の訪問看護ステーションに質問紙による調査を実施した。主な結果は以下のとおりである。1.管理者の全員が自分自身の研修の必要性を感じ、「経営管理」、「ステーション運営」、「ケアの質の管理」の研修を4割以上の人が強く望んでいた。2.管理者の約8割がスタッフに対して研修の必要性を感じ、特に専門技術に関する研修をスタッフに受けさせたいとしていた。3.訪問看護婦のほとんどが研修の必要性を感じており、今後学習を希望する訪問看護技術は「ターミナルケア」が最も多かった。4.学習・研修に関する施設整備等の体制として、「訪問看護実践指導者による指導・相談」「身近に利用できる医療・看護関係の図書館」を希望する人が多かった。The purpose of this study was to clarify educational needs of nurses and identify the significant educational needs at the visiting care stations. The survey questionnaires were sent to N prefectural visiting care stations for the nurses. The results indicate the foliowings: 1. All of managers of visiting care stations demand to a study about the management of the visiting care. Also, Over 40% of the managers of visiting care stations desire to participate about the study of "the operation of the visiting care stations" "the management of the visiting care stations" and "the management of quality care nursing". 2. About 80% the managers of visiting care stations make to be enrolled in the special classes of the visiting nursing skills for staff nurses. 3. Over 90% of the visiting nurses desire to attend to the special classes, which is terminal care of the visiting nursing. 4. Cross-Lingual Speaker Adaptation for HMM-Based Speech Synthesis

application/pdfThis paper explores a cross-lingual speaker adaptation technique forHMM-based speech synthesis, where a source voice model for Englishis transformed into a target speaker model using MandarinChinese speech data from the target speaker. A phone mappingbasedmethod is adopted to map Chinese Initial/Finals into Englishphonemes and two types of mapping rules, including one-to-one andone-to-sequence mappings, are compared. In order to avoid havingto map prosodic features between languages, the adaptation procedureuses regression classes and transforms that are constructedfor triphone models, then used to adapt the phonetic-and-prosodiccontext-dependent models. From the experimental results, we foundthat a one-to-sequence phone mapping is better than a one-mapping, and that the similarity between adapted English and target Chinese speaker is reasonable.conference pape

精神障害者の地域生活過程に関する研究 : 出身地域以外で生活を送る当事者への支援のあり方

Article目的:出身地域以外で生活を送る精神障害者の地域生活過程を明らかにし,生活のしづらさの要因と地域生活支援の方向性についての示唆を得る.方法:インタビュー調査を行い,質的帰納的に分析した.結果:対象者は7名.年齢は30代後半から70代前半,地域生活期間は6年から17年.地域生活過程は,社会的孤立期,社会的自立期,社会的実存期に区分でき,【自己喪失感の実感】【不自由さへの馴化】【仲間との出会い】【社会環境への慣れ】【生活の確立】【人への慣れ】【自分自身の実感】【生きがいの発見】という地域生活のあり方が抽出できた.結論:地域生活過程は,地域生活に必要な自己アイデンティティを再構成する過程であった.生活のしづらさの要因は地域生活で直面した自己の危機的状況であり,地域生活を送る上で必要な社会的・対人的な体験の支援,地域生活モデルの提示,失敗できる安心感の提供,自己表現・他者評価の場の提供が地域生活支援の方向性として示唆された.Objective : To clarify ways of supporting mentally ill people moving into a new community, taking into consideration the factor of "hard living" and the targets of livelihood support. Methods : Interview survey of subjects and recursive analysis of quality. Results : The 7 subjects ranged in age from their late 30s to their early 70s. All subjects had experienced community life for the past 6 to 17 years. Local life was grouped into 4 categories : "social isolation", "social experience", "social independence" and "social existence". The following types of community life were then identified :【noticing loss】,【adjusting to discomfort】,【presence of friends】,【getting used to a community setting】,【establishing a life】,【getting used to other people】,【realize themselves exists】and【finding motivation in life】. Conclusion : Community life process is to restructure their identities to conform with the requirements of their new community. The factor of "hard living" was a crisis situation in which mentally ill residents confront community life. Systematic Efforts for Daily Educational Improvement

AA12480022同一科目を複数の教員で担当し、多クラス展開する場合、科目目標と科目評価を共有し、日々目標を意識しながら授業評価・改善を行うことによって、組織的に教育力を高めることができる。本稿では、本学の初年次必修科目における教育改善のための組織的な取り組みを報告する。教育目標の組織的な形成、授業計画(内容・方法)・成績評価基準の統一化など、一定の共通性のもと、授業日、学期といった単位で適時的な授業改善活動を行うことの必要性を示す。In this paper, educational improvement activities in the compulsory subjects for the first year students at Otemae University are overviewed from the view point of FD (Faculty Development). The activities contain setting clear educational objectives and unifying teaching plans and evaluation criterions.
