(A) STUDY FOR PREVENTIVE ORAL HEALTH BEHAVIOR

예방적 구강건강행위에 관한 본 연구는 1983년 4월 21일부터 5월 3일까지 Y대 치과대학 부속병원에 내원한 성인 남·녀중 무작위로 표집한 100명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구목적은 구강건강을 유지 또는 증진시키기 위해, 대상자의 예방적 구강건강행위에 영향을 주는 예측인자를 확인하는 것이었다. 연구도구는 문헌을 기초로 필자가 작성한 질문지를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. A. 대상자의 예방적 구강건강행위에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 유익성과 장애도가 가장 깊은 관계가 있었다. 1. 대상자가 예방적 구강건강행위를 하므로써 얻을 수 있다고 예상되는 유익성(benefit)은 여러 변인중에서 예방적 구강건강행위에 관한 설명도가 가장 크며 17.42%였다. 2. 대상자가 예방적 구강건강행위를 할때 수반될 것으로 예상되는 장애도(barrier)를 추가하면 예방적 구강건강행위에 관한 설명도는 더 증가하여 28.64%였다. B. 예방적 구강건강행위와 상호관련되는 유의한 변인은 유익성(r=0.4174, p＜0.01)과 장애도 (r=-0.3402, p<0.01)로써, 유익성이 크고 장애도가 작다고 생각할수록 대상자가 예방적 구강건강행위를 잘하였다.;The purpose of this study was to investigate the preventive oral health behavior of the subjects in light of their health belief model that explains and individual's behavior with oral health maintenance or getting well. The subjects for this study were 100 person selected at Dental College Hospitals of Y. University in Seoul. Data was collected from April 21, 1983 to May 3, 1983 using the questionaire method and was analysed by the use of means, standard deviations, coefficient of correlations, analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. The results obtained are as follows: A. Of the five independent variables in light of health belief model, benefit, barrier are closely related to preventive oral health behavior. 1. Benefit is the most important and significant of the variables for explaining the dependent variables (17.4%). 2. Then taking the former together with barrier, the variance of compliance showed an increased (28.64%). B.
