Consequently, the development of programs to prevent smpartphone overdependence has also become necessary, especially in children, since the age at which they begin to use them is gradually decreasing. In late school-age children in particular, when socialization with peers is important, smartphones are used as a medium to form and maintain relationships with peers, which may lead to excessive use. Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop and to evaluate effectiveness of a peer relationship enhancement program consisting of group-based play and art activities designed to prevent smartphone overdependence in late school age-children by enabling them to have positive experiences with peers without the use of a smartphone. This peer relationship enhancement program was based on the smartphone structure model of Jeong Min (2015) which is based on sociology and modern system theory of Buckley (1967), and applied the therapeutic factors of group-based play and art activities to the group counseling stage of Corey (2012) to organize the contents and strategies of the intervention. Also this program developed in accordance with the program development procedure of Kim et al. (2011), and consisted of twice weekly sessions over six weeks for a total of 12 sessions. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed program, a nonequivalent control pretest-posttest design was applied. Data were collected through pretest, posttest, and follow-up tests and analyzed using Repeated Measures Analysis of Variance(RM-ANOVA). The outcome variables were peer relation, depression, self-control and smartphone overdependence. The participants of this study were late school-age children attending eight community child centers in S city, Korea. A total of 52 participants were included with 27 in the experimental group and 25 in the control group. During the study period, the program was conducted individually at each local community child center, and each session was held for 90 minutes. Result of RM-ANOVA showed that there were significant differences between the experimental and the control groups in terms of changes in peer relation (F = 3.15, p = 0.047), depression (F = 4.86, p = 0.010), smartphone overdependence (F = 3.35, p = 0.039) at the pretest, posttest, and follow-up test. However, there were no significant changes regarding self-control (F = 0.375, p = 0.688) between the two groups. This study presented preliminary evidence that a peer relationship enhancement program can prevent smartphone overdependence by improving peer relation and decreasing depression.     An umbilical vein aneurysm is rare, but appears to be associated with fetal morbidity and mortality. There are no specific guidelines for pregnancy with umbilical vein aneurysm and the management is substantially up to the clinician. We report a case of intra-amniotic umbilical vein aneurysm diagnosed at 35 gestational weeks by ultrasound. Because the aneurysm was growing rapidly, prompt cesarean delivery was conducted. After delivery, a huge fusiform umbilical cord was noted, which was confirmed to be umbilical vein aneurysm by pathological examination. We also reviewed previous reported cases and summarized the management strategies of prenatally detected umbilical vein aneurysms. In addition, the umbilical vein in this case report had the largest size ever reported.ope

    Purpose: This study aimed to develop the Korean Prototype of Wellness Index (KP-WI) and identify the relationship between Koreans health characteristics and wellness. Methods: The Wellness Index (WI) was translated into the primitive version of the KP-WI, considering the Koreans culture and health behavior. It was administered to 223 service industrial employees at one workplace along with the Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) and Stress Questionnaire-Short Form. Data analyses included item-total correlation, Pearsons correlation coefficient, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Results: The primitive version was modified to KP-WI based on the item-total correlation. The items considered to lower the reliability of the KP-WI were eliminated. Cronbachs โบ for each subscale ranged from .857 to .939. Perceived stress and negative emotions correlated significantly with wellness measured by KP-WI (r=-.29, p<.001; r=-.27, p<.001). Positive emotions correlated significantly with wellness (r=.60, p<.001). Conclusion: This study contributes to the development of Korean-style wellness indexes by developing a prototype and exploring the factors related to wellness
