Evaluations of resident satisfaction towards administrative services have been conducted for more than ten years since they commenced in the late 1990s. Most local governments currently assess resident satisfaction but the assessments of the government are skeptical. In this study, the resident`s awareness of the quality of five service factors was analyzed. How the five service quality factors, as independent variables, influence resident satisfaction was also analyzed. The results show that awareness of the quality of the five service factors is substantially average. In addition, the study results indicate that access, responsiveness, and capability variables were all significant in affecting resident`s satisfaction. Lessons and implications of this study for management leadership are presented
