A Study on Character Designs Using the Twelve Terrian Deities as Sources

우리 민족의 전통을 담고 있는 소재인 십이지신은 오늘날 우리의 현대 생활과도 친숙하다. 사람들은 새해가 밝아 오면 그 해가 무슨 띠의 해인지 궁금해 하며, 그 해의 띠동물이 지니고 있는 상징적 의미를 알아본다. 그리고 그것을 통해 한 해의 운세를 점쳐보고, 자신의 띠에 해당하는 인형이나 소품을 지님으로써 마음의 안정을 찾기도 한다. 옛날에는 운세적인 요소보다는 신앙의 대상으로 십이지 띠동물을 숭배 하였는데 부적을 통해 악귀를 달아나게 했으며 재액을 물리치고 소원을 이루게 하는 능력이 있다고 믿어왔다. 십이지신의 이러한 주술적 기능은 오늘날에도 악한 기운을 물리치는 용도와 운세를 점치는 용도로 철학관이나 사주카페에서 쉽게 볼 수 있다. 하지만 전통적인 십이지신의 이미지가 무겁고 어두운 느낌을 갖고 있어서 현대인들에게 시각적으로 어필하지 못하고 있는 현실이다. 본 연구는 이러한 십이지신 이미지를 현대화시켜 많은 사람들에게 친근하고 호감 가는 캐릭터로 만들어 십이지신이 가지고 있는 민속적 의미를 살리고 우리 민속 캐릭터를 보급하려는 목적을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 캐릭터와 팬시상품에 대한 이론적 배경, 국내외 캐릭터 개발현황, 우리나라 캐릭터 개발과 상품화의 문제점 및 효율적 방안 등을 조사하였다. 또한 소비자의 팬시상품 구매 실태와 캐릭터 선호도 조사를 참고하여 새로운 캐릭터 개발 자료로 활용했다. 캐릭터와 팬시상품에 대한 연구와 더불어 십이지신의 상징적 의미와 특성, 현대적 고찰, 상품화 사례 등을 조사하였다. 이러한 연구를 통해 본 연구자가 새롭게 작업한 십이지신 캐릭터는 다음과 같은 특징을 가지고 있다. 전통적인 요소를 표현하기위해 기존의 많은 캐릭터들이 사용하고 있는 매끈한 라인보다는 판화기법을 이용한 수작업의 따뜻한 느낌의 라인으로 표현하여 개성을 살렸고 다른 사람들도 응용 가능하도록 그 작업 방법을 기록하였다. 재앙으로부터 지켜주는 부적의 기능을 현대적으로 표현하기 위해 자신을 지켜주는 수호천사 이미지를 담았으며 실용적인 캐릭터 상품의 기능에 심신의 안정을 주는 부적과 같은 의미를 더했다. 완성된 캐릭터들은 매뉴얼로 정리하여 상업적으로 활용하기 쉽도록 했다. 로고타입, 시그니춰, 백그라운드 이미지를 포함한 베이직 시스템과 제품적용 예를 보여주는 어플리케이션 시스템으로 정리 하였고, 몇 가지 상품들은 샘플로 만들어 촬영한 사진을 첨부하여 상품화 가능성을 높였다. 본 연구자는 십이지신 캐릭터를 통해 민속을 소재로 한 캐릭터의 활용도를 높이는 효과를 얻고자 한다. 잘 만들어진 우리의 전통문화 캐릭터는 아직 활성화되지 못한 관광기념품 시장에서 큰 힘을 발휘할 수 있으리라 본다. 또한 외국 캐릭터에 익숙해진 우리의 아이들에게 재밌고 즐거운 우리 고유의 캐릭터와 팬시상품을 선보이고 싶다.;As a new year breaks, people are eager to know what Oriental zodiac character (animal) the year has and what symbolic meaning the animal has. And thereupon, people practice divination to be careful about any misfortune or carry a doll or an accessory representing their birth-year animals to feel comforted by the animals or their 'alter egos'. In ancient times, people used to worship the twelve animals of terrain deities rather than foretell their fortunes through them. They used to carry some talismans to terrify the evil spirits or expel their energies, while believing that the talismans would serve to prevent misfortunes and realize their wishes. Today, the function of expelling the evil energies is combined with the fortune-telling function to be used by fortune tellers or their websites, while the guardian animals are shown in dolls at times. This study focuses on not only the guardian and fortune-telling signs of the twelve animals but also their modern reinterpretations with their traditional elements derived to design their characters empathetic to our young generation. To this end, the researcher reviewed relevant literature to find the implications of the traditional twelve animal deities and thereby, expressed them into some characters. Specifically, the researcher examined a variety of twelve animal characters and thereupon, identified their problems as cultural or fancy commodities and thereby, developed some character designs conducive to promotion of our cultural and fancy commodities. Although not perfect Korean sources, the twelve terrain deities may well be interesting enough to be applied for characters; since they have long been immanent in our Korean people's subconsciousness, they may be used effectively to express our Korean elements, and therefore, they were selected for researchers' character designs. While attempting to express the Korean elements, the researcher could not but use the print techniques for expression of warm manual works rather than express the artificial lines shown in the conventional characters. Of course, there were several stages set for the expressions. First, the sculpture knives would be used to carve the sketches on the rubber print. Second, the print would be stamped onto paper to be scanned and the sketches would be trimmed out with PhotoShop. Third, Illustrator would be used for the line work and then, the symbolic accessories would be inserted into them for diverse effects different from the printing technique. Fourth, the completed characters would be applied to actual commodities to enhance commercialism of the character commodities. The twelve terrain deities have been horrible subjects as well as guardians, while they have been expressed in various art works in specific and splendid ways, but today, they are much used for games, animations or cartoons for young generation. However, such commercial applications seldom feature our traditional deity animals, namely their unique traditional characteristics. Development of an nursing assessment tool for emergency patients

지역사회간호학과/석사[한글] 간호사는 대상자의 상태를 자세히 파악하고 문제를 해결하기 위해 과학적 접근방법인 간호과정을 이용한다. 이 간호과정은 전문직 간호사에 의한 체계적 간호활동의 준거틀로 광범위하게 받아들여져 왔고, 이러한 간호과정의 첫 단계가 사정이다. 과학적인 사정은 환자에 대한 이해를 높이고 적절한 간호를 제공할 수 있도록 하기 때문에 환자의 빠른 회복에 도움을 주며, 사정된 자료를 일관되게 기록함으로써 의료진간의 의사소통을 높이고 반복적 사정으로 인한 환자의 불편감이나 시간의 낭비를 줄일 수 있다. 따라서 간호사정 도구의 사용은 환자에 대한 보다 높은 질의 간호를 제공할 수 있게 해 주며 간호의 합리성과 효율성을 기할 수 있게 해 준다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 응급간호의 질을 향상시키고 응급실 운영의 효율성을 기하기 위한 응급환자 간호사정 도구를 개발하고자 한다. 연구의 방법으로 국내·외 문헌고찰을 통해 개념적 준거틀을 형성하였고, 이 개념적 준거틀을 기본으로 예비도구를 작성하여 전문가 7인에게 1차 전문가 타당도 검사를 시행하여 31개 항목으로 구성된 예비도구를 완성하였다. 작성된 예비도구로 타당도와 신뢰도 검증을 수행하였는데, 타당도의 검증은 7인의 전문가에게 항목별 4점척도의 질문지를 통해 수행하였고, 전문가 7인중 6인 이상이 3점이상의 점수를 준 항목을 최종 선정하였다. 작성된 예비도구로 동일한 환자에 대한 두 측정자간의 차이를 측정하는 채점자간 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 서울시 소재 일개 종합병원에서 10인의 응급실 간호사(경력 1년∼5년)를 교육하여 20명의 환자에게 두 명씩 짝을 이루어 한 환자에 대한 간호사정을 실시하였고 이로부터 전체 동의백분율점수를 계산하여 신뢰도를 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 응급환자 사정을 위한 개념적 준거틀은 Triage criteria, 초기사정(first assessment), 추가사정(secondary assessment)의 세 영역으로 구성하였다. 2. 개념적 준거틀에 기초하여 31개의 항목으로 구성된 예비도구를 작성하였다. 3. 내용 타당도 검정을 위해 전문가 집단 7인 중 6인 이상이 3점이상의 타당도 점수를 준 문항을 최종 선정하였는데 31개의 항목 모두에서 3점이상의 점수를 받아 31개의 항목 모두가 최종도구로 선정되었다. 4. 신뢰도 검정을 위해 채점자간 신뢰도 점수를 적용하였는데 도구의 전체 동의백분율점수는 87.3%였다. 5. 타당도와 신뢰도 검증을 거친 후 31개의 항목으로 구성된 최종도구가 완성되었고, 각 항목은 기입식으로 제작되었다. [영문] Nurses use a nursing process, that is a scientific approach method, in order to understand the clients' condition and to solve their problems. Professional nurses have accepted the nursing process as a standard framework for nursing activities, and the first step of the nursing process is nursing assessment. The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing assessment tool for emergency patients. Assessment is a first step in the nursing process, and scientific assessment helps to better understand the patients. Thus the development of an assessment tool for emergency patients will improve of nursing quality and advance to efficacy of emergency room(ER) management. The study involved the development of a conceptual framework, preliminary tool, content validity verification process, and reliability verification process. The conceptual framework was developed through a review of the literature, and preliminary tool was developed from the conceptual framework that based on 'Emergency care flow sheet' developed James A. Haley. The preliminary tool was evaluated for validity and reliability by seven experts, one ER nurse manager, two ER head nurses, two emergency medicine doctors, and two ER charge nurses and by ten nurses with one to five year careers in ER nursing. The results of this study was as follows: 1. The conceptual framework which was developed was composed of three parts. They were triage criteria, first assessment and secondary assessment. 2. The preliminary tool which was developed had 31 items based on the conceptual framework. 3. To test expert validity a 4-point scale was used, items which had gained 3-4 points from six persons of the seven experts were selected. All 31 items from the preliminary tool were selected. 4. The reliability test was done by ten nurses educated in the use of the assessment tool. Two pairs of nurses simultaneously assessed the same patients. A total agreement percentile was calculated and result was 87.3% agreement. 5. After the validity and reliability testing, the final emergency patient nursing assessment tool was finalized with 31 items, and a check-list for the responses. This study concludes that the tool which was developed is both valid and reliable will advance quality care for emergency patients. 학위논문(석사) - 한국과학기술원 : 화학과, 2003.2, [ [ii], 89 p. ]The reductive Pauson-Khand reaction is the analogous formation of cyclopentenones from alkyne, via its hexacarbonyldicobalt complex, an alkene and carbon monoxide. We discovered that bicyclopentanones were formed form enynes using $Co_2(CO)_8$ or $Co_4(CO)_12$ and $H_2O$ in DME. Although the exact identifying of the reaction mechanism remains unspecified, we speculated that an in situ 1,4-reduction of the intermediate bicyclopentenone form the Pauson-Khand reaction by the $HCo(CO)_4$, that is presumably generated from the reaction of residual cobalt carbonyl complexes with $H_2O$, is responsible for bicyclopentanone formation. With the same method, reduction of various functional groups such as alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, alpha-heterosubstituted ketones and aromatic nitro compounds can be accomplished. This reagent for these reductions is extremely clean with little byproduct formation, provides remarkable selectivity and affords the desired products in good to high yields.
