Immediately after the 5ยท16 coup, the Park Chung-hee regime started trying to constrict any critical activities of journalists and they were willing to support the press to grow as an enterprise. This industrialization of newspaper only intensified the internal control of owners, and that eventually led the journalists to be suffered from low wages and job insecurity. Such of those external and internal controls drove any critical contents out, and that caused the development of readers critical ideas about the press. As they always got watched for their journalistic activities and were never been guaranteed for occupational rights and interests, the journalists sneered at themselves for becoming one of those salaried men. That consequently encouraged them to make attempts to form a labor union and to search for professionalization. However, those attempts did not make it to any satisfactory result because of the suppression from the government and the owners of the press, the journalists lack of competence. But, despite the failure, what the journalists went through during the Park Chung-hee regime did have an influence on the journalists trying to build a desirable identity

The biggest feature of radio broadcasting programs in Japanese colonial ear was that music programs occupied a very large part in all entertainment ones. Among such music programs, the traditional music genre programs were given the largest weight. And the next best program type was the western classic music program, which were often drawn up. Such phenomenon was because of both the radio broadcasting staffs efforts to conserve and to promote Korean traditional music genre and their familiarity to western classic music. Besides another factors like relatively low production cost, easy casting and relatively more popular, public media might influence on such radio programing. The other factors to have influenced on such phenomenon might be in their audiences feature. That is, most of radio registered audience might be the elderly or the intellectual, so they might mainly listen to Korean traditional music programs or western classic music programs. To sum up, the largest feature in music programs seen in early Korean radio broadcasting station area was larger shares of Korean traditional music programs and western classic music programs, and the weight of popular music programs was low. This feature can be said to have caused from the historical background of Japanese colonial era. Other influential factors were nationalistic, intellectual broadcasting staffs identity and limited number of radio receiver distribution

The following tumors were used: 4 serous tumors including 1 low malignant potential (LMP) tumor and 3 serous carcinomas, 5 mucinous tumors including 2 LMP tumors, 2 LMP tumors with aggressive features, and 1 widely invasive mucinous carcinoma, and 3 endometrioid tumors including 1 endometriotic cyst and 2 carcinomas. Proteins extracted from frozen slides microdissected by laser capture microdissector (LCM) were prepared for 2D-E gel, where only the spots that clearly showed a greater than a two-fold change in expression compared to controls were selected.We performed protein profile distance comparison and clustering analysis. Epithelial ovarian tumors and normal tissues showed an apparent separation on the distance map tree. Mucinous carcinomas were nearest to the normal group, whereas serous carcinomas were the greatest distance from the normal group. All mucinous tumors with aggressive histology were separated from the LMP group.The benign-looking cysts adjacent to the IEC (intraepithelial carcinoma) showed an expression pattern identical to the IEC area. The extent of change on the lineages leading to the mucinous and serous carcinoma was 1.98-fold different. The overall gene expression profiles of serous or endometrioid carcinomas appeared to be less affected by grading or stage than by histologic type.In conclusion, ovarian mucinous tumors are apparently distinct from other epithelial ovarian tumors. Forty uterine endometrial samples were selected from tissues obtained from a fetal autopsy, a hysterectomy during the proliferative or secretory phase, a hysterectomy for uterine atony or placenta accreta in pregnant women, from a hysterectomy due to uterine prolapse in postmenopausal women and an endometrial polyp. From these archive tissues, the stem cell markers, such as c-kit/CD117, CD34, the anti-apoptotic marker bcl-2, and the proliferative marker Ki67 were analyzed by immunohistochemistry using primary antibodies. c-kit/CD117, CD34, bcl-2 and Ki67 were persistently expressed in the stroma of the basalis layer, though CD34 was negative in the endometrial glands. bcl-2 was restricted to the fetal uterine endometrium. Both c-kit/ CD117 and CD34 were co-localized in the stroma of the basalis layer, but were differently expressed during pregnancy. The decidua showed intense immunoreactivity for c-kit, but expressed negatively for CD34. The endometrial polyp had a weak Ki67 proliferative index as in atrophy, whereas c-kit/CD117, bcl-2 and CD34 were persistently expressed in the stromal cells. In conclusion, these results suggest that the endometrial stromal cells with expression of c-kit/CD117, CD34, bcl-2 and Ki67 may be stem cells in the uterine endometrium throughout a womanโ€ฒs lifetime.ope
