μ ν¨κ³Όμ μΌλ‘ μ΄ν΄νκ³ νμ΅νλ κ²μ μ μλ―Έν λμμ λ°μλ€κ³ λ΅νμλ€.This study suggested teaching-learning program of Jongmyo Jeryeak applying gamification for middle school students by examining the current status of schooling Jongmyo Jeryeak and applying suitable gamification factors for teaching Jongmyo Jeryeak.
First, examination on Jongmyo Jeryeak was done with literature materials. Improvements in the contents of Jongmyo Jeryeak in middle school music textbooks were proposed based on and the learning contents of 2015 revised music curriculum. Next, with the analysis of the Gamification theory, Jongmyo Jeryeak schooling program for middle school students were designed by applying gamification elements suitable for teaching Jongmyo Jeryeak. Finally, with the online game-based learning tool program Kahoot! as the main medium, a gamification program consisting of three goals: Jongmyo Jeryeak in History, Into Jongmyo Jeryeak!, Jongmyo Jeryeak in the World was implemented and presented.
Jongmyo Jeryeak in History is a teaching method to help understand the historical, cultural background, and general understandings of Jongmyo Jeryeak. With the goal of learning "The characteristics of Jongmyo Jerye and Jongmyo Jeryeak can be understood in historical background.", it was conducted as a lecture-style class using video materials, kahoot slides, and quizzes.
Into Jongmyo Jeryeak! was designed as a kahoot content with gamification elements, such as story, cooperation, mission, reward, achievement, competition, and feedback. students become the main characters in the scenario and participate in the Jongmyo Jeryeak learning activities. This helps students to understand the three elements of Jongmyo Jeryeak, which are song, dance and music, and express them with songs, musical instrument performances, and body. Each mission is consisted of Song, Dance, and Music, and the integration of them.
Jongmyo Jeryeak in the World is a participatory class centered on group discussions and presentations. The course which is composed of group discussions, interview-type activity sheets and role plays helps students understand the value of Jongmyo Jeryeak and introduce it as cultural heritage.
In order to confirm the effectiveness of the presented program, a survey was conducted on 50 students first and third graders of middle school. As a result of the survey analysis, about 90% of the students who participated in the learning of Jongmyo Jeryeak through the gamification program were interested, and about 80% said they received significant help in learning Jongmyo Jeryeak.β
