[μλ¬Έ]Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most common diabetes related complications including diabetic nephropathy and retinopahty. In clinical practices, nerve conduction velocity (NCV) has been widely used as a standard method for diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy. However, it applies maximum current of 100γ to nerves causing stress and pain to patients. In this study, as a non-invasive method, TcpO2 was utilized to investigate the difference and relationship between TcpO2 and SpO2 of normal subject and patients with diabetic neuropathy. In addition, a new method of diagnosing diabetic neuropathy using TcpO2 is suggested. 50 normal subjects and 50 diabetic patients with neuropathy diagnosed by NCV participated in this study.Parameters used in this study were TcpO2, TcpCO2, and SpO2. Statistical significances were found from TcpO2 of hands and feet from normal and patient groups(p0.05). On the other hand, SpO2 measured from great toes of normal and patient groups showed statistical significance (p<0.01). Correlation coefficient between SpO2 of finger and TcpO2 of hand was 0.400 (p<0.01) and SpO2 of toe and TcpO2 of foot was 0.471 (p<0.01). Both correlation values were statistically significant. Sensitivities and specificities of the TcpO2 method were found to be 66 % and 92 %, respectively. This study suggests that TcpO2 method is a possibility for early diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy.ope

Όλ¬Έ (μμ¬)-- μμΈλνκ΅ λνμ : μ½νκ³Ό, 2015. 2. μμμ€.Signal transducers and activators of transcription 3 (STAT3), a member of the Janus kinase (JAK)/STAT signaling pathway, is a transcription factor that plays important roles in many aspects of cancer aggressiveness including migration, invasion, survival, self-renewal, angiogenesis, and tumor cell immune evasion by regulating the expression of multiple downstream target genes. In the previous study, a series of analogues of deguelin, a natural rotenoid present in several plants, were synthesised to develop novel STAT3 inhibitors. Among them, an electrophilic analogue SH48 bearing an Ξ±,Ξ²-unsaturated carbonyl group was found to inhibit STAT3 phosphorylation, dimerization, nuclear translocation and transcriptional activity. In this study, I confirmed the direct binding of SH48 to the STAT3 C328, C367 and C687 residues by mass spectrometric analysis. Then, I investigated the mode of SH48-induced MCF10A-RAS cell death with special focus on autophagy. p62 and STAT3 interact each other, which may facilitate the degradation of p62. SH48 inhibits interaction between p62 and STAT3, thereby maintaining the stability of p62 in MCF10A-RAS cells. In conclusion, the deguelin analogue SH48 inhibits STAT3 signaling by direct interaction with the C328, C367 and C687 residues of STAT3.TABLE OF CONTENTS

It has widely known for speech problem in patients with malocclusion, but there have been insufficient studies on degrees of severity. Patients with openbite and Cl III malocclusion usually have speech problem. It has widely known that fricative /s/is pronunciated most abnormally in Cl III malocclusion than any other consonant. Therefore 20 children with anterior crossbite were selected for study groups and 40 children with normal anterior occlusion were selected for control group. 7 sounds such as / μ¬(sa), μ(), μ(so), μ(su), μ€(), μ(si), μΈ(se) / were recorded, and the formants and formants ratios were measured by using Sensimetric Speech Station, which is speech analyzing program in IBM PC. The results were as follows : 1. In anterior crossbite group, F1 of all 7 sounds were significantly higher than normal anterior relationship group(p0.05). 3. In anterior crossbite group, F2/F1 ratio of all 7 sounds were significantly smaller than normal anterior relationship group(p0.05)
