「山椒大夫」論 : 〈個〉と〈情〉から生じた物語

TesisLa presente investigación analiza el tránsito existente en la rotonda denominada Óvalo Quiñones, situada en la ciudad de Arequipa - Perú. Para ello, se realizó un repaso acerca de los diferentes métodos existentes que permiten entender y analizar el tránsito en este tipo de intersecciones (rotondas). Sin embargo, es preciso resaltar que estos métodos fueron desarrollados en otros países, por lo tanto, su aplicación, en entornos distintos a estos, no garantiza que los resultados obtenidos sean del todo satisfactorios, por presentar diferencias en diversos aspectos como, por ejemplo, el comportamiento de los conductores. Debido a esto es que el uso de simuladores, como lo es el software PTV Vissim, para el análisis del tránsito en entornos complejos, resultan ser los más adecuados; gracias a la versatilidad que presentan, la cual permite que se adapte a cualquier sistema, por involucrar a todos los elementos contenidos dentro de fenómenos asociados al tránsito y porque permite experimentar, dentro del entorno del programa, con diferentes alternativas de solución sin que se tenga que intervenir físicamente en el área de estudio. Para llevar a cabo la simulación, se realizaron diversos estudios como: aforos, velocidades, brechas, entre otros; los cuales sirvieron como parámetros de entrada al modelo, esto con el fin de obtener una simulación que recree, de una manera real, el comportamiento del sistema. A través de esta simulación, calibrada y validada, se pudo determinar los principales factores que intervienen en la formación de congestionamientos vehiculares dentro del área de estudio; esto permitió entender y diseñar una alternativa de solución adecuada. Finalmente, se concluye que el uso de este tipo de software es conveniente para el estudio del tránsito y el planteamiento de soluciones eficientes.
