往復書簡エッセイ 「結婚」は本当に必要な制度なのか?

　本稿は､ 執筆者２名の往復書簡という体裁をとっている｡ 初めに倉橋から､ ｢一般的に 『結婚の障壁』 と認識されている条件がすべてクリアされれば､ 果たして人は積極的に結婚という選択に踏み切るのか｡ 否､ 結婚をめぐる言説が取りざたされるとき､ 実はそこで取り扱われているのは結婚それ自体ではなく､ 結婚を取り巻く周辺的な問題である｡ 結果として､ それによって却って結婚それ自体は常に不可視化されてきたといえるのではないか｣ という問いかけがなされた｡ それに対して岩本は､｢『すべての有機体は環境に適応し種の保存を図ること』 を至上命題としている｡ 理屈でいくら考えてみたところで､ 人がこれまで継続してきた営為は止められない｣ とする｡ 倉橋はこれに応えて､ ｢そうであるとしても制度としての結婚は無用である｡ そのような制度があるがために､ そこからこぼれ落ちる者がピックアップされることになる｡ また､ 制度を構造的に支えているのは社会意識であるから､ この社会が子供を社会的存在､ すなわち 『世界公民』 として捉える視点を採れるものとなるよう改革していくべきである｣ とする｡ 岩本は ｢思弁的に可能であるにもかかわらず実現されていないものは､ 現に慣習的に実践されていることより正しいとは限らない｡ また現代社会は､ 制度としての結婚を強制する社会とも思えない｣ とする｡ 最後に結婚という制度に対して両者は､ ｢制度の改革は､その結果を享受すべき社会の意識がそれに伴って変化しない限り､ 改革者の意図した通りの結果は得られない｣ という点で同意した

On the Characteristics of Modeling Compound Impressinon Materials and a New High Polymer Thermoplastic Impression Material

Currently marketed modeling compound impression materials, and a new thermoplastic high polymer impression material, were compared in terms of their themoplastic characteristics, and their physical and mechanical properties. The twelve kinds of modeling compounds used included both Japanese and foreign products. The new material consists of poly capryl lactone. It must be softened at 72-82℃, but can be used for taking impressions at 48℃. It has higher compressive strength and Young\u27s modulus, but less elasticity than conventional modeling compounds. Its thermal conductivity in low, and its specific heat high. From these factors it is concluded that the new impression material is suitable for a variety of applications including impressions for an individual tray, for complete dentures, or for determining the occlusal relation

Survey of Organochlorine Pesticides and PCBs Residues in Processed Marine Foods

Residues of organochlorine pesticides (DDTs, BHCs, heptachlor, dieldrin, endrin, aldrin and chlordanes) and PCBs in 108 processed marine foods which were purchased from markets in Hokkaido in 2001-2003 were investigated. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Organochlorine pesticides (DDTs, BHCs and heptachlor) were detected in canned foods, roe products, delicacy, whale products, and eel products. The detection ratios of pesticides in processed marine foods were 24.1% and the concentrations of the pesticides were in the range of 5-660 ng/g. 2. PCBs were detected in processed marine foods except edible oil. The detection ratios of PCBs in processed marine foods were 85.2% and the concentrations of PCBs were in the range of 2-4,200 ng/g. The highest concentration of PCBs detected in canned anglerfish liver exceeded the provisional tolerance limits established for fishes and shellfishes, but the concentrations of PCBs detected in other processed marine foods were lower than the tolerance limit. 3. The leaching ratios of PCBs from dried small sardine into soup stock were 0.2-0.3%. These data demonstrate that PCBs in dried small sardine do not transfer into soup stock. 4. This study indicates that most processed marine foods in the Hokkaido market are satisfactory for food safety. However, some products of anglerfish liver and whale meat proved to be highly polluted by PCBs and DDTs, and further surveys of those products are needed

A new attempt to use staples for gastrojejunostomy and Braun anastomosis in modified Child method of pancreaticoduodenectomy.

Recent developments in laparoscopic gastrectomy have led to the introduction of various methods of stapled anastomosis. We have also introduced stapled anastomosis to reconstruction of the digestive tract with the aim of performing safe and quick anastomosis and enabling an early return to oral feeding. Reconstruction of the digestive tract following pancreaticoduodenectomy in our institution is performed using the modified Child method. In this procedure, stapled anastomosis is used for gastrojejunostomy and Braun anastomosis, reducing the time required to approximately half the time previously required for hand-sewn anastomosis. Stapled anastomosis did allow a faster return to oral feeding post-operatively, with reduced frequency of delay in gastric emptying compared with hand-sewn anastomosis, but delay in gastric emptying was not completely avoided. This report summarises the procedures and key points raised following the introduction of stapled anastomosis for gastrojejunostomy using the modified Child method and for Braun anastomosis during pancreaticoduodenectomy. While the results of these procedures were satisfactory, many challenges remain and further innovation is required

本論はYou Can Inspire Me To Live Further: Explicating Pre-reflexive Bridges to the Other（Ikemi, A. in press）の訳論である。本論の目的は、人が生き進むのをどのように他者が促しうるのかを検討したものである。カール・ロジャーズとユージン・ジェンドリンのプレゼンスの概念、及びジェンドリンのフェルトセンスとフェルトミーニングの術語が検討され、他者の理解がジェンドリンの交差の概念から考察される。本論を通してこのようなパースンセンタード及び体験過程的諸概念は、反省的及び反省以前的な意識のあり方を土台として論じられている。このような理論考察及びロジャーズと著者の面接場面から、本論は相手についてのフェルトセンスを言い表すことは、人が生き進むことを促すと結論している。This is a Japanese translation of "You Can Inspire Me To Live Further: Explicating Pre-reflexive Bridges to the Other" (Ikemi, in press). This purpose of this paper is to provide an exploration of how one can affect the other to live further. The theoretical articulations of Carl Rogers and Eugene Gendlin are examined on the concept of presence; Gendlin\u27s terminologies of felt meaning and felt sense are examined; the understanding of the other is viewed from Gendlin\u27s articulation of crossing. Throughout this paper, the discussion of these person-centered and experiential concepts is staged on the interplay of the pre reflexive and reflexive modes of consciousness.
