晋成公七年扈之会及相关问题新探——兼谈如何对待《史记》与《左传》的不同之处

关于晋成公七年举行扈之会的目的,《左传》和《史记》的记载不同。《左传》只提到伐陈,《史记》之《晋世家》《晋表》则说伐陈以救郑。有学者认为《晋世家》的说法系将《左传》宣公九年九月中行桓子伐陈和冬天楚伐郑、晋郤缺救郑混淆而误。据清华简《系年》重新考察相关问题,《晋世家》的说法无误,而《左传》只提到伐陈,其记载有缺失。这个例子说明《史记》的说法确实有所依据,完全以《春秋》经传为准绳来判断《史记》正确与否,并不妥当。另一方面,新史料证明《左传》《史记》的记载反映了事件的不同侧面,并不矛盾。因此,对于先秦史料应该采取审慎的态度,如果没有确切的证据,不宜加以否定。福建省社会科学规划项目“清华简《系年》中的春秋史料研究”(2013C043)阶段性成
