    On Reforming of Public Electronic Experiment Courses

    面对 2 1世纪 ,对传统公共电子学实验教学进行改革势在必行。本文阐述了我校在实验手段、方法及管理方面进行的改革 ,提出了对电子学实验课教学的一些建议Confronting the 21st century, it is urgent and necessary to reform the traditional method of public electronic experiment courses.     2-D DCT Algorithm and Its Reduced VLSI Design

    采用了快速算法,并通过矩阵的变化,得到了一维离散余弦变换(Discrete Cosine Transform,DCT)的一种快速实现,并由此提出一种精简的超大规模集成电路(Very-large-scale integration,VLSI)设计架构.使用了一维DCT的复用技术,带符号数的乘法器设计等技术,实现了二维DCT算法的精简的VLSI设计.实验结果表明,所设计的二维DCT设计有效,并能够获得非常精简的电路设计.This paper presents a reduced VLSI architecture of one-dimensional discrete cosine transform (1-D DCT) algorithm by introducing a fast algorithm with a matrix transform. At the same time, the design makes use of lots of important technology, such as the reusing of 1-D DCT, the canonic signed digit multiplier design, and so on. A 2-D DCT VLSI design is finally realized. Experiments show that the design of the 2-D DCT is effective and can reach a reduced circuit design

    介绍了CORDIC(坐标旋转数字计算机)算法实现直接数字频率合成器(DDFS)中相位到正弦幅度转换的原理,提出了一种优化的基于CORDIC算法的DDFS的FPGA(现场可编程门阵列)结构,并对其中的关键部件CORDIC处理器的结构进行了较详细的描述.该结构在一定的输出精度下可以达到较好的无杂散动态范围(SFDR),同时需要的硬件资源较少,便于FPGA实现.This paper presents a theory for performing functional mapping from phase to sine amplitude.It is used in Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizers (DDFS) based on CORDIC(Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer) algorithm.An optimized architecture of DDFS based on CORDIC is proposed,and particularly described the architecture of the key module -CORDIC processor.For a given output precision,spur-free dynamic range (SFDR) is increased and hardware resources are reduced also.In the mean time,it is easy to FPGA implementation.福建省科技重点项目(2002H086)资

    目前在电路设计中,功能验证遇到两方面困难.首先,利用手工输入测试向量的方法不能满足测试需求;其次,观测波形文件的方法不仅费时而且容易出错.本文针对在电路设计过程中所遇到的这两方面困难,以一个有限冲击响应(Fi-nite Impulse Response,FIR)数字滤波器的设计为例,提出引入MATLAB软件进行辅助电路设计的方法.利用MATLAB软件进行电路参数确定,辅助产生电路的仿真测试向量及预期结果,并实现电路仿真结果的自动分析比较.该方法能够灵活地生成大量复杂的测试向量,减轻电路设计者的工作量,节约仿真验证时间,保证电路设计的正确性.In circuit design,there exist two difficulties in functional verification.Firstly,creating test vectors by hands can not meet the requirements of test.Secondly,observing the waveform edit window will take more time and it may make mistakes more easily.In order to solve the two faced problems,the paper presents a method by example of Finite Impulse Response(FIR) filter.The method use MATALB software to help design the circuit parameters and test vectors.It can analyze the results automatically and help us design complex test vectors easily.At the same time,it helps us save our time and makes the designs more reliable

    A Square Root Algorithm Based on FPGA

    随着嵌入式等实时系统技术的发展,越来越多的数字信号处理要求将开平方等运算用硬件实现.本文介绍了一种改进的不恢复余数的开平方算法,分析了它的一些优点,用VHDL语言在Xilinx公司的FPGA器件上实现了该算法;分别设计了被开方数是16位和8位的电路,并进行了比较.实验结果表明,与其他算法比较,改进的不恢复余数的开平方算法具有输出延时小和占用资源少的优点,同时随着被开方数的增加,最高频率下降幅度不大,具有较好的实用价值.With the development of embedded real time systems,more and more application areas need hardware implementation of square root algorithm.This paper introduced a revised non-restoring square root algorithm,discussed it's advantages and implementation way on FPGA.Different circuit was designed separately when radicand is 16 bits and 8 bits,respectively.The experiment shows that the algorithm introduced here has many advantages in terms on practical performance,such as output delay and speed.In the mean time with the increasing of the number of radicand,the maximum frequency only decreased a few.厦门大学预研基金(Y07014)资
